This is a great app to have on your phone to quickly edit a photo, add filters and have a great photography or also add some text or logos and add it to your social media.

Hi Abigail. We appreciate your review of PicMonkey - thank you!  Wanted you to know that there are a few ways you can customize your edits. You can paint on/erase off an effect so it only affects a particular area of your image, you have a fade control, and quite a few of our effects have sliders to customize your look. For example, Blur has Focal Size, Edge Hardness, and Blur percentage sliders; Arcade has 6 sliders; and Posterize has 5 sliders, to name a few. Secondly, one of the biggies for people who really want to create a unique look for their images is the group within Edits called "Advanced Edits."  There you'll find Color Changer, Clone, Dodge, Burn, and -- these ones are the heavy lifters -- Levels and Curves. I could not get by without this program.  I create graphics for multiple pen names and for clients and use this all the time.  Totally sold on PicMonkey.

I solely use PicMonkey for photo editing. I find that the price is a little high but the large amount of editing tools allows for endless playing in the photo editing process. It's almost overwhelming, in a good way! I use PicMonkey a lot for work, but it is also my go-to for personal projects.

Overall, my experience with PicMonkey was positive. The software is easy to use and offers interesting features for image editing. Although I would like to have more choices in terms of text editing, I recommend PicMonkey for users who are looking to quickly add professional effects to their images.

My Experience with PicMonkey

PicMonkey is very useful and its tools are spectacular for editing photos and video clips, and it makes my work much easier. 

I love PicMonkey because it is a practical and easy-to-use application.

I enjoy using picmonkey for editing and creating small amounts of social media content.  I have been paying for the premium service for years, but the site has changed and I do not get the same things for the same cost.

                                                       Previously to edit pics, I've used a variety of things, from Photoshop, various other apps to do that with. And I came across PicMonkey in the App Store and I absolutely loved it because it makes creating grids of photos super easy. I can put in two or three pics, or even more if I need to, I can add text if I need to. So it makes it super, super easy. I can do this for work, or when I'm playing around with my Yorkies in their pics, I can do that as well with theirs and have a little bit of fun. And add little designed, special things in.
                                                       After researching various other photo editing apps and software, and trying PicMonkey, I found that it was super simple and easy to use, and that's what I love. I can do this on my laptop, or if I'm in the car, or sitting outside. I can do this on the go, on my phone. And so that's what I really love about it is the flexibility that it gives me. It's that I am not tied to my desk, I'm not tied to the office. And I love being able to create pics, especially when sitting outside on a beautiful day, or going somewhere on a trip.
                                                       Using PicMonkey was probably one of the simplest apps that I have ever used. Literally, I downloaded it, opened it up, and within a couple of seconds, I was just working with it, being able to add into things I wanted to do, create the images that I wanted to create. So for an absolute beginner, somebody who's never worked with any type of photo editing software, it is super duper easy. Don't pass it up.
                                                       If you're looking for something to edit some pics with, give PicMonkey a try. There's a free trial that you can utilize if you're not sure you want to make that commitment. Give the free trial a little run-through, but I really don't think you will regret downloading and using the PicMonkey app.

                                                       To be honest, I wasn't really using anything prior to PicMonkey. PicMonkey for me was first on the seed for a browser-based photo editing software. So I was sort of trying to learn Adobe Creative Suite, but PicMonkey was the first in space that really allowed you to just use a web browser to edit photos and create graphics. And that's why I started using it.
                                                       I trust pic monkey because it was the first one that I found that allowed me to use a browser to make photo edits and to create graphics and visuals. And as I scaled my business, I really needed a quick way to do that and I just didn't have the capability on the Adobe Creative Suite line of products. So that's why I ended up choosing PicMonkey to begin with.
                                                       Getting started with PicMonkey was a breeze. I just visited the site, set up my account and started playing around with it. Super easy learning curve. And I really quickly started to understand the many features that they added. And they started onboarding more and more features as I kept using it. So that was also really nice because I felt like it was growing as I was learning how to best take advantage of it.
                                                       If you're considering PicMonkey because you're looking for a lower cost, easier to use photo editing software, it's a really great choice for you. I haven't found it to keep pace with others like Canva that really allow you to create a full set of digital assets across your portfolios, including print pieces, social media graphics. So PicMonkey is really good at photo editing if you don't have the time or the money to invest in true Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite. And that's really like where the sweet spot is. It hasn't really done the trick keeping up with other competitors out there.
