Features like bitcoin compatibility, mobile payment, and debit card support make it one of a kind.

Pros

Stripe allows easy integration with different content management systems (CMS).

Cons

The major downside is that Stripe is that it lacks in-person training. Other than that there are no problems.

Captures money quick and easy. We used to use Authorize.net but you have to go in and capture money there.

In my developments it has given me many development facilities and integrations with third-party services to make online payments and in addition most of the platforms are compatible with this service

Pros

Good online payment gateway service and online transfer management, it has an API with a very extended documentation and a good quality of support service.

Cons

In my case I have no complaint about the product because it is updated to the laws in correct times, has good support and has very competitive commissions.

In addition to the great developer tools most ecommerce software already supports Stripe. The dashboard and reports are excellent.

Pros

Branding is much more subtle than other drop-in payment processors.

Cons

If your goal is to process payments absolutely as cheaply as possible there are better options. If you use a processor which specializes in in-person payments then Stripe might be difficult to migrate from.

If you're building a product that requires payment processing, just use Stripe

They make everything as easy to use as possible.

Pros

I managed dozens of accounts and hundreds of individual campaigns and I never felt overwhelmed. Their API allowed our dev team to directly integrate with any service we needed.

Cons

We are able to pull reports for our internal team very easily, but sending customizable (and limited ) reports to clients or other stakeholders was incredibly difficult.

Setup was quick and easy and it integrates will a number of my third party products I use.

When I want more details, I can always dig a little deeper and see more statistics.

I do think that it would be nice to be able to accept multiple cryptocurrencies in the future, either directly through Stripe or through third party integrations.

Stripe rocks. Only wish it would give us additional templates

Add paypal and you've covered almost everything you can possibly need to get your ecommerce site up to speed, and use it to scale rapidly and handle all of it for you.

Pros

They have made it easy to implement and removed the barriers to ecommerce entry that we used to be forced to have to deal with cumbersome companies like authorize.net etc.

Cons

That all being said, the downside is that not everyone can use/implement stripe "out of the box" because their basic interface is sooooo basic that most have to create their own UI. Awesome for customization - truly - but more clumsy for lower level devs or non-tech people.

From a management standpoint this is an adequate card processing function.

Pros

First, this makes payments fast and easy for our customers though they are probably not aware of the functionality in the background on Shopify.

Cons

They charge a significant fee for returning money deposited and they wait a long time before reporting.
