Great product, great support team, mobile support lacking

Great payment processing system with very competitive pricing/fees.

Pros

Pricing is competitive and better than most others I found - while they're not the cheapest, their feature set more than makes up for it, so they're the best value option for my needs.

Cons

There is an iOS app to display dashboard data, but no official app for Android and the third-party apps are mostly junk or make my eyes bleed or both.

Also, there are many third-party applications that support and integrate with Stripe.

It integrates seamlessly with our donor management software, and there is a nonprofit discount rate so the fees are lower than some other similar services.

Getting paid just got so easy!

Ease of billing, refunds, fraudulent activity analysis and revenue recognition.

Pros

Stripe is a well known brand name, most people are comfortable processing payments via this method and their security is top notch.

Cons

Sometimes it's a bit hard to set up integrations that play nice with Stripe, for the most part it's been acceptable and hence it's not a deal breaker.

Easy to customize and to control platform, you can configure your payments very fast and trust all your payments are secured.

Pros

Every step is easy to follow and you'll be able to config your payment processor in a few steps.

Cons

As a third world citizen working for third world companies, Stripe does not offer the payment methods required for some projects, so I have been forced to use other alternatives.

I've used it to make payment forms, donation forms, subscriptions (it does recurring payments) and more.

Cons

Note: don't forget to add other users BEFORE turning on two factor authentication or else the person helping you may have to call you to get that code for their access.

Their plug and play integrations (Kickstarter, Celery, Shopify, etc.) has made it simple for us to scale our Kickstarter project to a full-fledge ecommerce site.

Cons

Especially doing ecommerce work, we find that a lot of customers will simply do a chargeback instead of communicating with us to ask for a refund.

The intuitive integration in ones own software and the great UI framework that provides a professional payment form for the users out-of-the-box.

The ability to run multiple accounts concurrently has made this my go to payment processor for multiple clients and my own business.

Cons

I found that I had to dig a bit to get the integrations I wanted, it was necessary to have some coding knowledge or pay for useful plugins from third party vendors to get the results I required

Because of the hundreds of apps and services Stripe integrates with, it couldn't be easier to accept payments online.

Stripe provides nonprofits in the US with a 501(c)3 designation with the IRS with discount transaction rates which can save hundreds of $$ a year over other payment processors.

Pros

Very easy to use and easily integrates with many online stores, such of the Go Daddy online store system.

Cons

It would be nice if they provided more assistance when dealing with a charge back when a customer thinks that their credit card was used in a fraudulent transaction.
