How we picked the 6 top rated products

We chose the high-performing solutions on this list based on verified user ratings on our site. Depending on available data, qualifying products either had to be among the most user-reviewed or the most searched-for products in the Blog software category. They also needed to have sufficient reviews about website management, have a minimum user rating of 3 out of 5 for that feature, and show evidence of U.S. market presence. We then added a distinction for up to three products based on our proprietary ratings and reviews: Highest rated, Highly rated for website management, and Highly rated for free version. Sponsorship or client status has no influence on the selection of these products, but it may impact the order in which products appear.

User insights about the website management feature

Users find Weebly's website management straightforward and beginner-friendly, with an easy-to-navigate interface and drag-and-drop design. They appreciate the ability to manage multiple websites, quick content updates, and the platform's simplicity. Some users note occasional issues with the save function and lack of advanced features, but overall, it is considered efficient and user-friendly.

“Managing the website is not hard, even for a lay person. Our admin assistant was able to use the program easily with just a few minutes of instruction. We use this page for our staff only, and password protect the content. Weebly makes it easy to choose who can see the site and who can not. The site is fairly user-friendly for new users. I recall that my son needed to make a web page for a college class, and he used the free Weebly version to do it. I think he made it in less than a day, and he had several pages with multiple links. Something important to know is that we pay for our website domain every five years, and we are billed annually for the actual interface of the website. So we are billed once every five years to keep our website name, which Weebly registers on your behalf, and then are also billed once a year for using the site. Both prices are very reasonable for the quality.”
