One person on his side can clear the chat between the two of you completely with no trace. I find this a little extreme. Telegram is still growing in popularity and this is limiting its use as you can make the most out of it by interacting with other telegram users

It's a relly useful messaging application, you can create Channels, Groups and it's always updated. I can't remember a crash or any issue with servers. Great Privacy, ability tu send files (not olnly Photos or Videos), fast and secure. I used this apllication in most occaion to share Business documents, and realized also a channel to share offers and promotion to all my clients. Really useful! Cross Platform (iOS, macOS, Win, Android...) really amazing! The GREATEST feature is that you don't need a connected phone to use it, it works on you desktop/tablet also if your Phone is offline. You can "chat with yourself" to save separately anything.

Great integration, but sometimes Desktop Applications lacks few optimization and functions. Nothing serious, but sometime it will help.

All my cryptocurrency members and family are using this app which is the main reason I started using it in the first place. It has good marketplace features. It has great privacy options and the ability to call users. I like creating groups and managing them within this app. Bots can help the business a lot and sometimes I do find legit vendors that are great to work with.

There are many things this software needs to do to improve itself. First, navigation is HORRIBLE!! It's so impossibly difficult to navigate through all the groups and personal chats to find relevant chats. Some of which were buried for weeks and I didn't even realize it. The application of OTP and its verification. It sends in mobile number or email. The two options lead to easily access to the account for the user.

There is not status update feature in telegram. Also it take large space to run the application. It consumes a lot of data too

Telegram has a lot of amazing features which I really love. The ability to share large files of up to 2gb, and to customize my experience on the app is so satisfying. I also love the fact that I can have groups or channels with up to 200k members, this feature is rare nowadays and it makes telegram to really stand out. It's security and cloud based storage gives me peace of mind knowing that I can easily access my chats from other devices.

Honestly, there's not a lot wrong I would say about Telegram though I would like for a way to stop malicious bots from messaging me to prevent spamming, I think that would be a nice feature to add.

No delays in sending messages, messages get delivered and received in no time with active notifications and pop ups

A lot of the accounts that exist in the app are fake

I see a lot of positives like: speed, performance, group chats and channels, These I see are references, but they are being copied by the competition

Not very popular in some regions which can limit contacts, weak in audio and video tools, has a lot to improve

Since you can automatically exchange info with a contact on Telegram once the usual permissions are granted, you risk having information from your phone leaked to the other party. An example was when a new employee installed Telegram on his phone, all his contacts were synced to another employees phone.

Everything, yes, i like everything about Telegram, not matter if it's the end-to-end encyption or the developer API everything is God Level and crafted with ease of mind. The Bot API is even more amazing making it easier to integrate telegram bots with our own panel for easier operational tasks. No video feature. I've been waiting for their update for years, but I don't think they have any intention of putting in a video feature. I also don't like the bots and spam that telegraph, it really causes my app to flood, and is one of the reasons I ask my friends to switch back to Viber. In addition, there is no possibility of adding stories compared to its direct competitor, Whatsapp, which gives the possibility of sharing photos or videos of moments. slow reconnection during conversations, not easy to find me when it is a message quoted in group conversations, I have not found a way to easily respond to messages from the notification bar.

Practically a cool software that has zero adds. It has an easy to use interface and amazingly attractive emojis and stickers which are extremely entertaining compared to the others of the type. Also telegram allows unlimited file size when it comes to file sharing. Compared to the other programs of the same category, telegram has reached an outstandingly higher level of communication.

A big drawback I see is that not all countries are allowed access to telegram. This makes people choose other programs over Telegram since in the modern world, friends and family seem to spread all over the world. Also, there is a noticeable amount of scams wandering within this program and I don't see that as a positive outcome. If these few drawbacks are fixed, Telegram would be a cooler software to use.

The only disadvantage I see is in the area of account recovery. Which, following the loss of your phone number, seems to have resulted in the complete loss of your account as it will asking for verification codes that are send to the phone number and no access will be granted to the account without the code.

Telegram is easy to use chat application. The key thing is you can hide your phone number in Telegram which is the most powerful thing in the app. Secondly, you can find many relevant channels of interest in the app. Also, the subscriber-based group makes it more comfortable for me as a Group Admin.

There is no prohibition on bad content which might not be suitable for the user experience. Also, a verification by Telegram is needed while sending some kind of files, as they might contain viruses. Also, a 10 seconds timer while sending messages in the group is very bad.

The app is easy to use with bots that help you, I love the style for the app and all the modes that their includes, the pay version is almost more complete but in the free you can't lose anything, the app is avaliable in all the world and is fantastic.

Telegram is a veritable and handy tool for daily communication in customer support, making video calls to up to 1,000 people simultanously, and for answering questions . My team and I make effective daily use of it. Telegram is extremely user friendly with its end-to-end encryption enabled by default. The sharing limit for files is relatively high. The cross device syncro functionality is seamless. Awesome dedicated features for group management via bots, among others.

Unfortunately, the advent of telegram has also led to sweeping rise in scam related crimes where scammers can easily join a group through invite links, etc, to defraud unsuspecting people especially in a group.

It's free and that makes it perfect in the value-cost ratio, since you would need a paid plan in other services to get similar features. The transition from WhatsApp was really easy... you can even export chats so you preserve the history of your communications. You can do so much more in Telegram compared to WhatsApp and it's strictly better in terms of privacy and security of the data you're sharing. The sole fact that it isn't owned by Facebook is more than enough to switch over your whole company to Telegram.

If someone has used WhatsApp (which everyone has at this point) it will be a no brainer to switch and start using Telegram, so there aren't really cons.

There is a feature to edit a text which has already been sent and received. Allowing these alterations can be seriously harmful for a crucial conversation. Telegram is generally noisy. For example, there is a default notification setting that each time a new contact joins telegram, the app should notify you on that. This notification keeps on popping up with sound and vibration, even after disabling it in the settings. It is a displeasure.

I enjoy being able to talk and interact with others.Additionally, I appreciate how flexible the group feature is and how, in contrast to other programs of a similar nature, it supports groups of up to 5000 people.Another feature of Telegram that I like is the ability to pin important chats so that you can access them whenever you want and the ability to store a long stream of previous conversations in a group and make them accessible to new members.Finally, I like how you could use bots to help coordinate and maintain order in your group by preventing pointless chats and unimportant participants. What Telegram is lacking is an option for real-time translation that is built right into the app. As someone with numerous Russian contacts but no Russian, I constantly translate my English text using a different translation app before pasting it into the chat.
