Pros
For me this is the best price-quality on the market you can find. All the possibilities it offers are great and their support never let you down.
There is a lot of great documentation available, and the support team were really responsive and helpful when I've had questions.
For both the massage and the nutritionist site, the ability for clients to have their own customer panel and schedule and reschedule their appointments if necessary is fantastic.
Cons
The very complicated process to setup and sync my Google Calendar to Amelia. Even watching the tutorial video was difficult because the person doing the Tutorial seemed to have issues and struggled.
I was a bit weary because I read other reviews saying they had a lot of troubleshooting errors and problems with getting everting synced with their calendars correctly.
There are limitations are intended applications of the plugin, eg no booking session allowed across midnight.

Best WordPress online booking solution

Reviewed a year ago

Overall, we're quite happy with Amelia and how much it helped our implementation for our clients.

Pros

Amelia has a wide range of features suitable for almost any small or medium-sized business to accept bookings online for both digital and in-person services. Payment integration with Stripe is quite seamless as well.

Cons

The UI/UX of the backend can be improved and customisability of the widget could be more comprehensive as well. The fallbacks for certain design aspects, eg. font colour on a dark background isn't the best out-of-the-box and may require some custom code.

Customizable but not so user friendly for employees

Reviewed a year ago

I recommend them to clients looking for a professional booking tool for their business. I know of the quirks so I don't mind using it now. The customization options are a huge plus. Their support team is the best that I've ever had to deal with. They don't shut the door if they hear you hint at asking help for customizing something like 90% other support teams do. I really do appreciate that in highly recommend them just for the support they give you.

Pros

I like how it came styled out of the box. I really liked the customizable options that they provide you to brand the booking process. They even allow you to customize all of the email templates that get sent to the employee and for the customers while letting you create your own templates. The same goes for text message notifications. I really like how employees can edit their own calendars/hours from the front end instead of the backend. The support team is amazing. Very friendly and helpful.

Cons

I have gotten frustrated with their email templates not saving correctly and taking out spaces between random words and making my email grammar look like a ten year old written them. Their dynamic email shortcodes will get messed up when using a third party transactional email service but that could be the fault of the email system too. The frontend method for employees to add their schedule needs...

Not a Very Good Design, and a Flawed System - needs better employee management

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

Cool that it has employee management features, and WooCommerce integration

Cons

1. Theme styling = you simply need to create styling that mirrors the WordPress theme, instead of forcing uncomfortable and mismatched styling on your users that is not white-label, or "on brand". 2. Employees need to be able to simply and effectively choose their hours from the front end using a simple timeslot/clicking functionality. They need to be able to "open/close" blocks or slots, simply by...

Bootcamp Reservations Tool

Reviewed 3 months ago

Overall we are very pleased with the Reservation system we have developed around WP Amelia with our custom add-on plugins and web hooks to drive the last-mile functionality we needed unique to our service offerings

Pros

Amelia's sleek shortcode widgets allow us to add Amelia Reservation options within our custom Elementor Reservation pages easily and quickly

Cons

We have some very specific needs - waitlists and the like so some obvious features are lacking for a booking plugin

I have been using the Amelia plugin on a number of websites for over 2 years and I'm very happy with its functionality and all the great features. Also, the Amelia support guys are always very helpful and super friendly. I highly recommend Amelia.

Pros

It's so flexible that you can build an online booking system for practically any business that requires one.

Cons

Truly can't think of anything that I would like least.
