I am cancelling Setmore and am frustrated with myself for not seeing in advance that client online purchasing options are extremely limited and dysfunctional for the nature of my business. but overall I think many people who choose Setmore will be satisfied with the features and functions for the low price.

This company is an absolute disgrace, they provide a simple service and yet cant even run it correctly. I spoke with 12 individual customer support agents, all in an attempt to solve 1 simple issue, they consistently left the chat once they realised it wasnt a simple fix, or else told me the issue was on facebooks end and not theirs, despite this being impossible as the data showing up in my error message could only be coming from their servers, just to make it that bit worse, I contacted facebook to get confirmation and in 3 hours had a response from them confirming the issue was not with them, The Setmore team then told me they would have to contact Facebook to confirm this despite me sending screenshots and also providing a detailed bug report for them, they have no clue how to fix their issues and their system has several bugs, 4 days ago they told me they messaged Facebook and today they told me they still had no response, i find it funny how i got a response in only a few hours and yet after 4 days a company of their size couldn't make contact.  AVOID this company at all costs. So many better options out there as we have recently discovered.

I like being able to send an easy link to my clients to book through, it saves all of their data for me and sends me and my clients reminders for scheduling. The prices for setmore are very reasonable for a small business owner.

It has been a huge blessings as I started my business with Setmore and it has allowed me to take bookings online.  I have only used the free version and will be sad to leave them, but should they upgrade to the more modern style and more capability, I would love to hear about it as I know they will do it right.

Setmore provides a combination of easy-to-use function sand features that make my job as a life coach simpler. Setmore is my single source of truth for the day to day running of my business. Appointment booking, calendar integration, client details, email and text appointment reminders, cash and card payments, web storefront, these are all features I'd expect to find in software targetted at my business, but the no-cost integration with Teleport for group and one-to-one video sessions is the cherry on the top. If you run a hair salon, a yoga or pilates studio, a coaching business, a massage practice or any session-based appointment-run business, then it is worth your time evaluating Setmore.

My experience with Setmore has been outstanding.  The free options have provided me with everything that I needed and things that I didn't know I needed, but love!   I use Setmore every single day.  Customers from various organizations can easily make appointments through the easy to use interface.  I can customize the interface and corresponding emails.  I can generate daily reports and schedules for my staff.  I can look up customer information to follow up with customers.  I can modify the availability of appointments.  I am very excited to have found Setmore.  One more thing, the customer service at Setmore is excellent.  When I had an issue with reporting, the Setmore staff helped me immediately and gave me updates along the way.  The Setmore staff followed up with me and made sure that everything was working well for me.  A big thank you for the excellent customer service!

Easy to Use Appointment Management Tool, Free Version of Setmore Meets All My Needs

Setmore solves our scheduling issue with clients - we don't need to email them open timeslots and then have it change by the time they reply - now we just sent them a link to see the 'live calendar' and they can choose current openings. It also allows us to schedule group classes, and have multiple people meet us at once. We can easily ask the clients a few preliminary questions that they must fill out before their appointment, such as their budget and move-in date, so we know what products to show them at their appointment. It saves us phoning them ahead of time to discuss options and make sure we have products available for them.

We have had a much easier time getting our clients comfortable with booking their own appointments and being more responsible with cancellations using this system. The staff appreciates the ability to book from their phones or cancel and reschedule from outside the office.

Easiest and Most cost effective scheduling interface available

I wouldn't be able to provide the services that I do without Setmore. I am a sole practioner (massage therapist) and do not have any staff....I have back to back massages and no down time....without the online scheduler, it would be VERY difficult for me to set up appointments.   Allowing clients to schedule their own appointments makes my job a lot easier and they appreciate it as well. They know their schedules and what works for them so it is convenient for everyone.

We love the features, we love the pricing...but we find that there are a lot of glitches going on that make our business look unprofessional.  As a medical office, its important for us to appear professional...and Setmore has let us down on this front quite a few times.
Asking questions or lodging complaints with the company is tricky, as they're always dodging blame.  Its always possible to 'chat' with a consultant, but I think English isn't always their first language, making some communication tricky.  
That said, the main part of the program works well...but be prepared for some odd glitches occasionally - like clients sometimes being able to book outside of your booking hours (which they tell me isn't possible...yet its happening), or SMS reminders just not being sent (even if the system says they were).  Another time, a client managed to log in as an administrator and somehow set herself up as another practitioner....that was odd too. But according to Setmore, we did that ourselves and she couldn't possibly have done it (they said as they deleted her practitioner profile).
Most of our clients find the Setmore online booking website easy to use, but don't bother trying to set up a lead time for appointments...I don't know why, but even when they changed it from 2 days to 24 hours, it still wouldn't allow clients to have the lead time we wanted (i.e. the amount of time required to book an appointment online so we didn't end up with any surprise appointments).  
Also, be prepared to constantly sync your duplicate clients in your database...it is incredibly annoying and time-consuming.  
In addition, the recurring appointment feature had to be disabled on our account, as if clients wanted to edit one appointment in a series, we would have to search back to find the original appointment in the recurring series, delete or change that one...and THEN edit every single appointment from then on (it sometimes was weeks or months of edits to be made for one appointment to be changed), so we no longer use that feature.  

The widget to link through to our Wix website however is very handy, and they are trialing features such as 'classes' and Stripe payments.  We cant comment on how the payments feature functions, as we don't use it.

                                                       In the past I tested out two different types of softwares to use for my appointment setting for my business. I use Google Calendar and I also use Calendly. Both were nice options, they're both have a lot of good free benefits and resources, but I found for my business they didn't create the brand that I wanted to represent. They weren't as robust and user friendly for my clients. And I really like the interface that you get with Setmore, I feel like it draws more people into your business and sets you apart from just the basic tools.
                                                       What I really enjoy about using Setmore for my calendar for my business is the fact there's so many functions that allow you to connect with your audience and help your clients move through the process from becoming a prospect to a client. There's everything from social media integration. There's a bio section so they can learn about you. Clients can leave reviews. There's a robust interface that allows you to put different types of services that are offered even with different coaches. If I have another person in my business, which I've had in the past, that comes in and out and works with me, we have separate calendars that will sync together and allow you to coordinate your schedule in a very efficient manner. So those were a couple things I really enjoyed about it, and again, I just really love the look of the interface. I feel that it's like looking at a Lamborghini versus a Pinto. You just see it when you look at it.
                                                       What I really enjoyed about Setmore is the setup is super easy. It's very intuitive and user friendly, both as the person designing it knowing the company and as the client who's going to be using it. Very simple to follow through. When I set up, you just choose your services, choose the calendar you'd like for them to go on, the time of day and the service provider and you're done. Very simple interface. It also integrates and syncs brilliantly with your smartphone. So really it's a one, two, three setup, and you're ready to go.
                                                       So if you're considering changing or adding a calendar to your business to help you monitor and manage your schedule, I highly suggest Setmore. Some great things about it. Again, very robust interface. I suggest if you're a business owner, you want to develop your brand it's great to get in there. There's a lot of tools that allow a person who comes to your website or your calendar to really understand who you are and the value provide, which will help initiate and instigate them in taking action to becoming a prospect or a client with you. I would suggest going through and using every one of the tools they have, because it really helps build out your business and helps promote more traffic to your website.
                                                       In addition, one challenge I would warn people of is when you put a service in the services work across the whole schedule. So if you particularly have a service you only do a one day like sometimes plastic surgeons only do surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when you schedule the service will go open for the whole week. So it's something to be aware of. It's the only hiccup in the entire system. But beyond that, it works brilliantly. I've been with them for probably over six years and it has helped increase my business and helped me consistently keep myself busy with new consultations all the time. So I highly suggest you test it out.

Before we used Setmore, also, we were using Excel spreadsheets to do our scheduling. However, it was very cumbersome and didn't give us any options for online scheduling or for remote people to log in and get their schedules. And so we switched over to Setmore because it gave us those options and more. The reason we switched to Setmore is because we needed a scheduling option with more versatility. Setmore gave us the options to plan schedules out ahead of time, a remote app so that our drivers could see their schedules and make changes if necessary, and they give us messaging options to inform our students about change in their lessons.
                                                       Setting up with Setmore was very straightforward. Since it's all internet-based, there was no apps, we didn't need to download any software. We just gave it our information, put in the names of our instructors, what times they were available, things like that, and it was pretty much set to go. It was very easy to put in the names of the instructors and also our students, and the remote app works with it. It makes it possible for our instructors to check their schedule and make changes easily. For anyone considering getting Setmore, you'll find it's very easy to install and easy to use. There are two versions, a free version and then there's an upgraded version we paid for. We advise if you're going to do more advanced features and regular scheduling, like integration with other applications and advertising and things like that, you'll have to go for the paid version, but both versions are very good and I highly recommend them.
