This has been a useful tool for networking virtually. As an exhibitor we've had good attendance to our virtual booths and good lead generation.

Easy to navigate, many options to engage with a community, easy to use on multiple devices (phone, laptop) during the conference. I liked that it integrated with Zoom.

Overall, I highly recommend Whova. In spite of some of the challenges, it is still one of the strongest tools available for the cost, and is very user-friendly.

There have been other virtual neuroscience meetings that have not worked well and as the president of our Flux society, I was nervous.

Overall, Whova is a great platform that I've used for work conferences. I enjoy the many different features such as the schedule (that you can add to your personal calendar right from the Whova app), the notifications when a session is starting, speaker powerpoints/materials available for download, community messaging board, and more! Great app! 

Great App - Easy to Use!

Whova was very helpful when planning what events I wanted to attend during the SCABSE Winter Conference.

my overall experience with the Whova app would be that I really enjoyed using this app. It was a fun way to interact with the attendees. I did enjoy using it, but I felt like I was on my phone 24/7 trying to get points to be ahead of people, that I just stopped trying to be in the "TOP 10"

Such a handy tool. I wish every conference I go to would use this! I loved having a one stop shop for the event. I felt connected before, during and after attending. The app was easy to use, kept me on track time wise and I always knew where to go which can be difficult in a new space.

I would give it an 8, just for the length of time it took me to find the sign-on page.

I attend other conferences online throughout the year, and the Whova App is the only app where I feel as though I am actually at the conference. The chatting between colleagues, the question boards, and chat rooms all give a connected feel that I cannot get with any other conference app. Thank you!!

I love this app, it is user friendly, interactive and engaging and so fun to use, I love to earn points and keep track on the leader board.

                                                       So I was first exposed to Whova about two years ago while attending a pretty large scale conference in another state. And just a couple of months after, I was to help plan and organize another conference here in the state. Whova was very helpful in that it really saved our time and resources, helped with attending networking, and also, it was a huge aid in communication between conference organizers and attendees, exhibitors and attendees. And then, again, as I mentioned, that networking between the attendees themselves.
                                                       What I like best about Whova is the reliance on the digital, technology, and cellphones. We've really gone away from written agendas, curriculums, and in-person registration. So the Whova app allows you to do all these things over the phone. You can do virtual check-ins. You can facilitate dialogue and discussion with attendees with the app itself.
                                                       As I mentioned before, I've used Whova for a couple of years, both as a user and then a coordinator administrator, and I really can't think of anything negative to say about the application itself. It really, again, has allowed us to save our time and resources, and devote energy towards interacting with attendees at the conference.

I've used Whova to attend conferences virtually that I was unable to travel to earlier this fall and over the summer. So Whova allowed me to participate in conferences that I otherwise would just have not been able to attend or get the information from.
                                                       The things I like most about Whova is how easy it is to schedule sessions, and you can enable push notifications so that you get a notification right before that session of the conference begins. It's also really great at connecting with other conference participants and even with the panelists, so I felt like even if I wasn't attending live, I was still able to be just as connected as if I were.
                                                       One aspect of Whova that I didn't really care for or wouldn't use in the future is that they have a point system for attendees to earn points and recognition depending on how many sessions they attended or how many posts they commented on, and that was something that wasn't really of interest to me and that the conference didn't take advantage of, so even though there were points associated with different activities, there was no reward for those points, so that whole aspect of the app just didn't pertain to me.
