Really good experience with the software. Price is higher than it should be but it is more convenient in the cloud. If it could connect with Dental Intel, I would put it in all my offices.
Easy to use. Familiar feel. No need for a server for PMS and x-rays.
No option for CBCT backup. Can't be used together with Dental Intel. Default reports sometimes convoluted although you can make custom reports.

Each computer in the office is independent and isolated. They're "off the shelf" units and were purchased from Dell at extraordinarily reasonable amounts. No server, no contracted computer geek, no surprises. Most importantly, no added monthly maintenance fees. The support from Curve has been fabulous. What's the worst that can happen? Well, the system has gone down.....wow....we kept doing dentistry....
Ease of integration and ease of use
Inability to access the actual product from my mobile devices. I want to be able to interact with the entire product from my mobile devices(iPad, iPhone)

Cost, Efficiency, usability.
This is a complete solution to meet all Practice Management needs which is great but as this software is a cloud solution it is just like your Facebook account, Instagram, email etc, it is alway available right there where you need it and it works as it should but in a modern, more efficient way. It's quite intuitive and it is always trying to help you to achieve your goal. We've yet to encounter...
The Kiosk facility where Patients can can fill out their forms directly into Curve is good but you can see they are still building it out.

Costly when doing add ons...feels a little “nickel and dime” style. This isn’t a cheap product, but not many other industries (used daily, with cloud back-up, charge near this rate. Because it’s dentist, the price keeps climbing...there will be a breaking point or a mass abandonment when a fair-priced competitor comes along...just sayin!!!

Cost savings no server to upkeep
Ease of charting and upload and organization of templates for images. Accounting breakdown of invoices. Patient portal and ability to send new patient paperwork is fantastic and saves so much time at appointment.
Insurance profile is too limiting as well as the word processing options in Curve. The capability to send statements needs to be reworked, need direct access to account from A/R reports with capability to send letters add account notes etc. tracking of statements and account out reach needs to be all in one area.

This program cannot be be changed using fields and customization; it needs to be designed for an American office, not Canadian, ie DOB and DOS fields; The very worst feature is trying to build a simple report - it is confusing and time consuming

I am not sure if this software is as user friendly as dentrix or softdent
cloud based, nice graphics, decent reports, resonable phone support. I also like that the updates are done automatically
expensive....thought I would not need a server but I like my imaging software better than Curve. In the perio charting pockets of 5mm or more should be plotted in RED

started in May 2018. I am not the most tech savvy person but I picked up on Curve very quickly. I have been very satisfied overall with its ease of use. I can custom tailor the business reports to my specifications, which comes in handy.
Ease of use, intuitive nature, clean design, support is good for the most part.
R-copia, found out that I was deactivated without my knowledge. Cost me 1/2 hour of my time (and paid staff while nothing was getting done).

So far behind the Curve compared to other dental management platforms.
Cloud based. That is it.
Customer service is horrendous. Can't load fee guides on time and make no effort to do so despite multiple requests well in advance. Constantly placated by staff that offer no solutions. Year after year the fee guides are not loaded on time. Staff could care less. Expensive for lack of functionality and having to manually input your fees because Curve doesn't care to meet deadlines. Compare to other software, Curve is definitely one of the top ones out there. For the service and quality you get, it is hard to find any other that compares to it. I also like the fact that they are continually working on improving the software. Customer service is also number 1.
Ease of use, great customer service.
Cost and still need some improvement for electronic records but I know it's being worked on.

Curve Dental has been great for our dental practice. We enjoy not having an expensive server and all the IT costs that go along with it... Curve is always updating and improving. It is very easy to use!

The pricing is extremely expensive And we don’t even use the radiograph feature We bridge it with another software If this continues to rise , will def think of switching It quite often just stops working in the middle of taking X-rays

It's conceptually cool. Their customer support is responsive, and the software is cloud-based.
It doesn't live up the hype. The cloud-based software has stopped working 2-3 times since going live in less than a year. The acquisition of digital X-rays is non-diagnostic. The import of images from old chart software to curve is tedious. Image magnification is limited. Treatment plan implementation is tedious. If you want to give multiple treatment plans, each plan data has to be re-entered, which...
We have recently discovered that the imaging challenges described by this client seem to be limited to Kodak sensors. Curve Dental has an outstanding track record for reliability, innovation, and customer service, backed by more than 3,000 dental professionals managing the oral health records of more than 3,000,000 patients every day. In fact, a customer satisfaction survey conducted in May 2014 indicated 73% of all Curve Dental customers were likely to recommend the software to a colleague. Regardless, at Curve Dental every customer counts. We have taken careful note of this client's feedback and compared it to our current development plan. We will be giving this client a call to discuss further.

Overall pleased with system, we are working out kinks, but the training team is really good
Multi office, easy to use and to learn, great customer support and easy to use curve community with videos and PDFs to guide teaching new employees, easy to add new doctors for minimal cost
Steep learning curve for older, less cloud/IT savvy staff members, takes several extra steps to perform some tasks, not all services included with base model

Overall I like that it is cloud-based. For the better options in the program the fee goes up.
I love that this program is cloud based. It helps me be able to access the software where ever I am.
can be expensive. If you dont have a good strong internet connection than the software runs slow too.

We have been using Curve Hero since opening our practic, 5 years ago and have been very pleased. The software is easy to use and has a pleasant looking clinical chart that can be understood by patients. We love being able to access the software from any internet connection, the auto updates and the fact that we don't need powerful computers and servers in our office to run our system. We were able to remove the IT service cost and decrease our IT equipment costs by using a program that is cloud based. Curve is definitely setting a standard for what all dental practice management software needs to become. It's about time the dental industry start catching up to the rest of the business world when it comes to software.

Highly recommended. Easy to learn , easy to use, well-thought-out software that eliminates the typical hassles of dental software...all at a rock bottom price. What's not to like?
Web-based design is a new way to work with dental software. It eliminates the need to upgrade the program, no more worries about data backup, meets all HIPAA privacy concerns, eliminates the need to have data protection in place. Software is intuitive and easy to use, support and training are excellent. Monthly subscription is very reasonable and removes the typical high-cost barrier to purchasing dental software.
Company doesn't have a long track record...yet. Image management is a work in progress but they have made great strides to date.

Curve is very good practice management software as is, and the ease of use and cost savings compared to having a local server based software is great. The support is phenomenal! The future is where Curve is really going to shine.
