It's truly a shame because the product can actually be very cool and helpful. But the lack of support and terrible customer service means that it's more trouble than it's worth. As we signed our contract we had high hopes to expand our business with them into their other products like employee engagement and video interviewing, but that is never going to happen now after our implementation and support experience.
Phenom does deliver an amazing career site with the ability to capture Leads and Partial applications. We have seen our application skyrocket since implementation. The CRM is easy to use for simple campaigns and sourcing.
The implementation with Phenom was a mess. Their third party implementation partner was clueless and had little to no knowledge of how to properly connect Phenom to our ATS. When we went live with the career site, it took MONTHS to fix all the bugs. This is not an experience unique to us- many of their largest clients do not use the Phenom integrated apply flow. Overall my experience with phenom is good but I would say if they can implement some more changes then this product is fantastic.
I really like the campaign management feature which allows us to target our all candidates at once+ it gives us all the information about bounced emails, responded, opened, etc which I feel is very unique.
There are multiple things which I don't like:-We can not delete multiple candidates from the project, we need to delete every candidate one by one.we can not change the status in bulk.

This is great software to manage large number of applicants and manage the Talent pipeline. software is being used in many mid level companies so it can be an advantage for someone who knows how to use it.
nothing specifically as this is not a go through software for many small companies so it is not as frequent.

The ability to create talent pools, create live events and source passive candidates, makes for an excellent system. From a performance perspective, the ability to pull of live reports from the dashboard helps greatly when assessing and driving team performance.
At times the reports can take some time to pull off; however, this is a minor detail and I have yet to see any major faults.

Overall i have found Phenom to be extremely helpful in finding and identify candidates for troublesome roles that have been a challenge in the past. Keen to see how it can improve and become even better in the future.
I find this to be a very user friendly system which was easy to pick up from the start. It always generates a great pool off candidates and the ability to use it for the full end to end process is great.
The only con for me is the time it takes between screens which may be a system issue and not software issue.

the most usefull thing to me about phenom is that you can send you candidates reminder text about anything getting them through the onboarding process and its also a pretty powerful sourcing tool
i love phenom wouldnt change a thing if i had the choice

Phenom is an excellent add-on to our Recruiting tool kit. Phenom is integrated into our ATS (Workday) and not only does it pick up all current applications, it's AI also picks up online impressions and links them to LinkedIN profiles - basically doing the talent sourcing for you. It's intuitive and a tech-savvy recruiter can create dynamic lists to talent pipeline for all kinds of roles.
For a user that is very new to talent sourcing tools, this can feel quite daunting and hard to use.

Builds a great data set with tons of opportunity for actionable items
Data set is so slow to access (dashboards can take upwards of five minutes to load, depending on filters), customer service leaves tickets open for MONTHS, and the CMS is borderline useless, with broken padding controls, poor rich media enablement.

Engaging future talent, first and foremost. Specifically, for activating our EVP and segmented brand story at job family level via the career site in multiple languages, as well as the intelligent interface of AI and talent pooling, back-end CRM.
Consumer grade, easy to use and intuitive. The roadmap to further develop data insights and AI is especially exciting. Multiple languages and integration to your ATS for full cycle talent attraction and engagement.
Some early teething issues with integrating to a larger-company methodology, but this is being improved with integration staff being added. Data insights to allow a drill-down to job level pipelines would be great.

Career site personalization is amazing. We get a lot more applies as a result of the improved user experience. Job search works really well. The ability to send out personalized job campaigns to candidates in our talent network proved really useful.
Career site CMS is a bit too complicated to use for an average user. It takes a lot of time to learn and master.

API interface with ATS.
The technology has promise in theory. Likewise, the product concept could do very well were it supported by a knowledgeable engineering and QA team.
While the technology has promise, they have no QA, no pride in the products they create, and they leave their customers hung out to dry trying to track down someone to fix yet another error on the career site. Likewise, their analytics platform leaves much to be desired, and the data is more often than not incorrect. We fully regret implementing Phenom People as our career site technology
