Feedly is an aggregation service and smart reader application that allows users of all kinds to gather, collate, organize and consume web content into a cohesive experience. Offering cloud-based access for web browsers via free signup, Feedly is supported by native apps for Mac and most notably those on iOS and Android smartphones. Feedly's smart reader environment then automatically brings together a user's preferred sources of content, spanning websites, news outlets, blogs, digital publications and even YouTube video channels into a single place. Allowing for customizable management and filtering of those feeds, the application is useful for monitoring brand or product mentions, competitor activities and article keywords. Via linking to Google Alerts, Feedly can then issue alerts and notifications pertaining to content that features those keywords.

Feedly has integrated itself into my morning wake-up routine. I have tried to find alternative services to see what is out there, but I find myself never temp to change.
Feedly has made it easy for me to find and manage my news feeds. I have used several different methods over the years but this is the one service that I've never felt the need to look for another. It's easy to use, customizable, and generally just works.
It has periodically had issues with suddenly showing old entries for a bunch of feeds or other annoying issues. But has overall been quite stable. I have seen some services that claim to display articles based on what you read. While these services have not been nearly as useful as Feedly, this is a feature that I think could be useful.

I like the fact that I can have all major news platforms and their content aggregated on a single platform
The fact that it is based on a technology that not all content producers are plugged in, thus reducing the apps capacity to fully substitute the need to visit each website individually

Feedly is in a unique position to capitalize on its unique feature set, but unless more serious competitors enter this space, I expect prices to remain high.
Feedly is the only product I could find that offers the features that most "lightweight" RSS readers lack: the ability to process feeds using machine learning and the ability to have team-wide sets of RSS feeds.
Feedly has the concept of an "organization" and a "team," but an organization can only have a single team. It would be much more effective if we could have multiple teams under the same organization. Feedly is expensive; it could use some competition to help drive prices down.

I use Feedly since Google's RSS Reader disappeared a long time ago. I love it! I use it both on my phone and laptop daily to keep up with the news and articles related to my work. I also like the "save" feature which lets you save a post to read it later. It is also very easy to add new content to follow.
Sometimes it takes a couple of hours to provide new content, but it might be because of the free version I use. I can't think of anything else.
