All in one social media management solution

An absolute must try tool for anyone needing help with social media management and monitoring. Just try it and see for yourself. I don't have enough space to write everything here.

Pros: Easy, cheap and good support.

Top Social Media Manager

I've looked at other Social Media Managers as I've been using HootSuite over the past year, and as a consultant/single practitioner, I think it's probably the best solution for me. It's flexible and well laid out. Starting out, it was hard to master the user profiles, and who gets access to what accounts (your business vs. your personal accounts), but once set up it works well. Using it every day to monitor and engage on Twitter mostly, plus posting to a dozen or so other social accounts (LI, FB, WP)

Pros: Good value for the money for me. Other providers would be more expensive for team-oriented features that I just don't use. Hootsuite offers many of these services and I would likely upgrade there rather than going to a new app. Otherwise, easy to use and a great dashboard for daily account monitoring and interaction

Cons: User configuration a bit confusing. The bulk posting spreadsheet workflow is a bit kludgey. I use other apps to do most of my Twitter posting, and only use Hootsuite for the manual interactions and postings to other platforms.

I've been using it since they actually launched the app. I've had a pro account for 6 months. I strongly recommend it for managing +5 social media accounts.

Pros: - Scheduling posts - Variety of Social Media included - Search feature

Cons: - invoicing system usually charges you extra fees if you're not aware of invoicing cycles (but they solve it via support) - instagram feature was a hype launch but it's not as great as I expected - collaboration feature

I have been using HootSuite for about 2 months. I have several teams and multiple social media profiles, but have found it to not be very intuitive and it just gets stuck and doesn't work sometimes.

Pros: Integrates with everything

Cons: Sluggish, hangs up, and is not user-friendly

I used Hootsuite to both my previous position. When my supervisor introduced me to Hootsuite, it took me only a bit to understand the software and its features. It is really simple and extremely user friendly. The design of the interface is not really the best but in the end of the day is the functionality that matters most. You can integrate all your different account from Twitter or Facebook and with the dashboard keep track of everything. I also find a very useful tool the column with the messages screen as you can keep track of your messages and reply directly. Last but not least, Hootsuite offers really useful webinars about social media strategies and on how to make your page interactive with users.

Pros: The dashboard with its simplicity

Cons: Mainly the design of the interface

We've been using Hootsuite for quite a while to manage our Facebook and Twitter accounts and reach out to our customers via multiple social channels. It's been mostly a pleasure to work with and has saved us a lot of time that we can spend on improving our product. Even though the interface is not always perfect and straight forward, we enjoy its simplicity and the features Hootsuite offers, the main advantage over its competitors being the functionality it offers in the basic plan. There is competition to Hootsuite, but we couldn't find a better deal for the money.

Pros: - Intuitive stream view - Twitter and Facebook integrations - Powerful publishing system - Free plan available

Cons: The publisher interface could be a little more lightweight and the reports are quite pricey.

THE choice for mainstream social media management

I've been using Hootsuite since forever to do basic social media tracking and content publishing. It's not a perfect solution but one of the best out there and at least for me using it comes very naturally by now. Although it packs a lot of information it also allows a fast and simple workflow.

Pros: Quite complete in terms of social media supported Easy to understand Quite cheap

Cons: Interface although recently improved could do with work They should homogenize how social media are handled - some done via apps, some done internally Most importantly, they should add native option for translating!

A fantastic tool which enables me to handle more than 25 accounts from all social media channels.

Pros: - Great analytical features. - Easy to use. - Intuitive. - Collaborative features make it easy to share tasks with other members of the team. - Loads of apps available. Scheduling feature saves a lot of time and I really like the Hootlet plug in for chrome which makes sharing articles a breeze. No copy or paste required.

Cons: - It takes a little time to figure out how to get the most out of Hootsuite. - I wish it was possible to upload duplicate tweets in the bulk uploader.
