Awesome and i never had any problem using it, the free plan are awesome the paid plan are more awesome, the only downside is the search feature are only available on premium plan.

A better way to read the internet after Google Reader

My experience is positive for the most part and once I can afford to upgrade I will. I like to get as much information into my brain without signing up for more newsletters that I know I will never read. That would create an even bigger spam box.

Feedly is in a unique position to capitalize on its unique feature set, but unless more serious competitors enter this space, I expect prices to remain high.

Great feature set but needs competition

A lot of time is saved finding the content you need to share.  Even keeping up to speed on your industry or skills is easy-peasy.

Good way to have your news curated and delivered on a single platform

I decided to use Feedly as a time saver for my trend analysis and platform update research for my agency. I'd previously spent hours culling through my sources looking for relevant industry information, but with this web app, I was able to open ONE link to see all my sources.

I'm happy with the service and upgraded to the paid version which includes Leo. It works well with pulling in RSS feeds, Twitter feeds, and newsletters. It's nice to have the info come into a central place than having to go to so many other sources.

The most popular RSS reader, although not the best

Besides socializing, social media helped me to connect with entertainment outlets that I love. It was good because mostly all of them update their social media accounts daily, but the experience is plagued with other unimportant stuff. Feedly really helped me to dive into a pure discovery journey of articles and posts I love, without having to see ads, videos, and awful rants. Is nice that you can customize the experience to separate your feeds by interest (culture, science, entertainment, etc)

I only use my phone for social networking. My phone is also a work tool, so those are the only things that my phone is used for. Given the pandemic, I have been trying to do things outside my comfort zone and given a colleague recommendation, I started using the app. It seems that I only needed a good app to be interested in reading on my phone. I also don't read many books, so this is quite a jump from not reading anything, to read a little more during the day. 

Trying to use my phone for more productive things

To be honest, apps are kind of a headache for me. I have a smartphone, but I limit my use to texting and calls (old fashioned, I guess). But I also like to read, and this app was a recommendation, apparently, even a not sot techy person like me can use it, and it is true. It was easier than I thought, and it didn't make me feel dumb with complicated menus or settings, I will try to use it as much as possible.

Overall, Feedly is a huge time saving tool for me as a time poor Salesperson. I can achieve in 20mins what what usually take hours of scaaning the web for information. I highly recommend Feedly.

                                                       So, before I was using Feedly, I had to open up a hundred different tabs and see all of my information from clicking each different link. And I'm not a hundred tabs across your browser type girl. So, I just feel so much more organized when I'm using Feedly.
                                                       I chose Feedly because it was an easy way for me to keep all of my sources in one place, to get all of the most up-to-date information with one click, basically just one feed, to have all of the information that I was looking for across the whole internet, was just in one place.
                                                       So, when I was getting started with Feedly, one of the things that was a challenge was trying to figure out which of the sources I needed to have to make my feed. So, there are different categories within each news site, and sometimes those would be totally different sources listed on Feedly, and sometimes it would be the one source and then I would have to go through to cull which articles were meaningful to me. So, that was a little bit of a hiccup, but once we got it started, having one category to have all of my sources in there was pretty straightforward. I would say it took an hour, maybe less. And then, from there, I was able to use that same Feedly source for two years. So, an hour, or saving hours and hours of work weekly for two years, was certainly worth it, but wasn't super smooth.
                                                       If you are considering getting Feedly, I would recommend having your sources and your links lined up ahead of time, so that you don't have to search through the Feedly database, I'll call it. It works, but it can be a tad cumbersome. So, if you are just starting on Feedly, I'd recommend going in with your list of sources, so that you can move forward quickly and start using your feed right away.

Before using Feedly, we had a Tiny Tiny RSS setup at a local instance. It was good for a very basic RSS workflow. We got the feeds. We could apply very basic filters to them, but ultimately when you get to a certain threshold of RSS feeds, you need something a little bit more sophisticated to sift and sort through things. Tiny Tiny RSS was good for an open source product, but ultimately, it wasn't really great for a business setting where we wanted people to be able to have those filters and be able to apply them on a team wide basis, not have everyone have to go in and do all the same filters by hand. 
                                                       We chose Feedly because we wanted something that had advanced capabilities to sift and sort through knowledge, and Feedly is really the only game in town for that. It does it pretty well for the most part. They have an assistant called Leo that allows you to teach it what to do in very human readable terms. So for instance, if you want to filter out everything related to big data from your AWS feed, you just say, "I don't want anything related to big data," and Feedly knows which AWS products are really with big data. Whereas before in Tiny Tiny RSS, or really anything else out there, I would have to manually filter out the term big data, this big data product, that big data product. Feedly is smart enough to do that. So that was the first big win for us.
                                                       The other one was being able to apply them in a team setting. I've always said for a long time now, why don't more of these RSS feed readers, especially ones that emphasize collaboration, allow you to have a collective set of team-based RSS feeds, IE., you subscribe once and everyone gets it. For whatever reason, Feedly was, again, really the only game in town for this. So we could have different feeds for information security, software updates, hardware updates, and you just subscribed to that from a team wide basis and everybody gets it. It's really helped our workload considerably.
                                                       Onboarding with Feedly is fairly straightforward, especially if you're coming from a different product. RSS feed readers, most of them will export to a .OPML file. That contains your RSS feeds, any categorization you might have for them in a vendor neutral format. So in my case, I took my existing feeds. I imported it, man, there wasn't really much of a problem there. All I really needed to do at that point was set up a couple of team-based feeds and separate them from your team-based feeds with your personal feeds, which are not shared with the team. 
                                                       If you're thinking about using Feedly for your team, I would definitely consider the price. Yes, it's a high price. Unfortunately, that's because, like I said, when it comes to stuff like machine-learning, team-based collaboration the right way, Feedly is kind of the only game in town. But for what it's worth, it is expensive, but you do get your money's worth. I've already seen it pay dividends for us significantly. When I come in in the morning now, I don't have to sort through hundreds of different RSS feeds to try and hopefully find the one that I really need to see for the day. You can just come in and take a look at what's already been prioritized for you automatically. So before you gave too much at the price point, I would say go through the trial, see how it really improves your workflow, and I think you'll probably agree it's a net positive for you.
