YouScan is a very user-friendly platform. We didn't need to spend that much time learning how to use it. You can open the interface and start working. And even if questions arise, you can find an answer in YouScan's knowledge base or talk to their friendly support.
YouScan has everything that PR managers need to be effective. With this platform, it’s easy to track brand health, be the first to know about heated brand-related discussions, and protect the company from reputation crises. In addition, YouScan provides capabilities to find influencers and evaluate collaborations with them.
With YouScan, you can’t monitor Instagram stories. Unfortunately, there are no tools on the market that can provide access to this data.

The platform's efficient analytics and reporting capabilities have also enabled us to quickly access essential data with just a few clicks.
Convenient filters that allow you to work with different data segments within the same topic. Excellent coverage, especially in terms of the speed and completeness of data from Twitter and e-comerce sites. Additionally, the support team is top-notch and always available to provide prompt assistance whenever necessary.
Sometimes Facebook mentions are collected for a long time.

Overall after we've built social listening ecosystem, where YouScan role is just data collection -- it is fine, excluding the pain of manual downloading of several thousand hundred mentions when one download is limited to 10 thousand
Switching to YouScan from one of the international players helped us to gather much more posts in Russian. Also the software is better suited for local social networks.
However, it is not designed for multi-branded and multi-category business, where you would like to track SOV of over 100 brands in 3 categories. The software doesn't provide such ability from the box, so it is used for data collection and analytics are done externally. Data transfer via API is available only at the most expensive plans. Stories are not captured.

Customer support is excellent, they are very quick to answer and always available to help with a solution. They are also open to suggestions on how to improve their software.I highly recommend it.
t's very user-friendly and visually appealing. Their sources are very varied and their AI tag is not perfect but very accurate. There are a lot of filters that make query writing and refining much easier. One small detail that makes a difference it tells you exactly what is wrong with your query so you can easily correct it. Other software I've used only tells you there's something wrong without highlighting where.
Setting a date range can be tricky, collecting historical data with high mentions can take a full day. The visual insights are great but you can't download an excel file or pdf with the URL's collected, it needs to be done manually.

As a global research and communications company, we deliver our clients with rigorous research on media trends and narratives. YouScan enables us to collect and analyse data from various platforms and develop insights on digital media coverage and social media conversations on some of the most relevant political and socio-economic issues of the day.
The system allows filtering data by pre-existing categories, as well as creating customised tags and automation rules that can be applied separately or in combination with each other. Using YouScan’s Analytics section, we can visualise media trends within the system’s interface and then export these data into our graphs. Additionally, the system works with historical data, which makes it fit for retrospective and long-term media and narrative analysis.
It took us over a week to set up all the categories for analysis and add the outlets of interest. But the support team was helpful along the way and facilitated the setup.

We are happy with YouScan and will definitely recommend it to our peers. We managed to efficiently perform brand tracking and make some improvements to our offerings based on customer feedback that we collected with YouScan.
The tool provides powerful analytical capabilities that we use on a regular basis. For example, trends allow us to track if there are any emerging discussions that can potentially harm our brand. We can also easily work with data thanks to filters, as they categorize mentions by complaints, recommendations, comparisons, etc. The platform also has analytical dashboards that we can customize how we need and share with our c-level management.
There was a problem with the speed of history data collection, but recently the team significantly improved it.

In general, we use all aspects of the software regularly, but we particularly like audience insights, which help us better understand our client's audience and adjust the communication strategy accordingly. We also appreciate the geography (it doesn't matter where our customers come from, because YouScan has worldwide data and supports different languages), and the reporting (which is simple to share with the client to back our recommendations and decisions).
We would love to have more of automated metrics on the Audience Insights functionality to measure authors and influencers

We are satisfied with the coverage of social networks and media, we have a good quality database.The automatic sentiment analysis feature also works well, allowing us to prioritize negative mentions and proactively mitigating potential reputational risks.Additionally, we prepare reports on a weekly basis with the assistance of automated exports to Excel and customized dashboards.
We have been a few issues with logging into the system, but we were able to quickly resolve these problems with technical support.

In order to provide our consumers with better products and service, we are constantly seeking for ways to better understand them and their needs. Additionally, we are constantly looking for new strategies to draw in the customers of our rivals. And YouScan does a terrific job of assisting us in that.
The features of YouScan called "Audience Insights" and "Trends analysis" are at the top of my list because they let us know not only how our customers feel about the brand, but also what their other interests are, where opinion leaders and influencers can be found among them, and what products or topics are currently trending in the market. That provides a lot of food for thought for our marketing team.
Reading comments (e.g. from YouTube) might be more convenient if the comments to one post were assembled together and sorted chronologically.

La función que ha nosotros como empresa nos funciona muy util es la creación de reporte automatizados. Al tener la facilidad de filtrar los datos que deseas para tus reportes, hace que el trabajo sea más sencillo. Tienes la posibilidad de crear los reportes con gráficas que vayan acorde a tus necesidades como empresa, así como también puedes editarlas en cualquier momento, en caso de que exista un cambio o actualización dentro de la misma. Otra función util para nuestra empresa es el poder monitorizar la satisfacción del cliente de manera más facil, así como el seguimiento de reseñas o comentarios negativos en diferentes redes sociales. La plataforma de YouScan es demasiado amigable para nuevos usuarios, ademas de que el soporte técnico te acompaña en el proceso de aprendizaje.
No considero esto como algo que menos me gusta, pero creo que como nuevo usuario podrias llegar a tener problemas en la parte de gráficas o edición de widgets. Podria llegar a ser un poco confuso, pero como comente anteriormente siempre tienes el soporte del equipo de YouScan en cualquier momento.

We analyze mentions of some important political messages or government institutions. Daily monitoring helps us understand which messages have the potential to be spread, who are the main authors and what influence do they have. All these (and not only these) things help different political institutions work more promptly in their daily communication, respond in a timely manner to the fakes and build more adequate communication strategy, be more flexible and modern. All data become the ground for decisions.
We really admired by the work with this software and all the team who creates and develops this product. We use YouScan for specific socio-political purposes that is why the most important things are the possibility identify trends, possibility to work with the big data. These our requests are satisfied with the product more over very client oriented position of the support team allows to solve all questions as prompt as it possible.
I can`t say that we really suffer from absence some things that we need but it will be great to have the opportunity to work with even more complex reports. When we can download data with the author identification and full information about him. Now we can do that but in two different files - author report and general analytics. One more important thing - correct identification of the connotation. We really need it very much but now it is incorrect.

Every new feature has been carefully thought through.
1. No Twitter firehose. Searching for historic data older than 30 days might cost extra. However, once the query is set up you get 100% of the conversation.2. YouScan's architecture takes a little adjustment, but once you get it it's easy from there.3. Support is based in Europe, so American clients have a few blackout hours a day. Other than that support is very knowledgeable and fast.

We need to collect and process 100K+ of mentions per day about our company and services. YouScan API integration help us a lot with this. The user-friendly interface and system capabilities allow us to find mentions and receive notifications about all new posts on the relevant topic.
Unlimited number of users with different access levels, the ability to create rule markup, convenient analytics interface and auto-categories. Stable operation of the system and support, which quickly helps with setting up new themes, deserves a high rating!
I would like to have flexible settings for alarm notifications.

Easy to use, good customer support, good system.
Glitch from time to time. Telephone support is not 24/7. Pricey. New image search is very expensive — I can't offer this new feature to the clients. Not all mentions are in the system. Not all managers are very competent.

The system has many valuable features so that managers from different teams can use it for their own purposes. The most impressive technology provided by YouScan is visual analytics as it allows us to track mentions that we could not find before, for example, a photo of our product (with logo on it) without any text caption.
We've chosen YouScan for its robust image recognition capabilities. Along with other smart features, the tool lets us perform different types of tasks effectively.
At first, we were overwhelmed by the vast choice of features and could not prioritize them. But we've got huge help from the client success managers starting from detecting the best strategy for us, ending up forming the searching queries.

We've chosen YouScan as it can cover multiple objectives within several departments at a time. For example, the marketing team I'm a part of focuses on detecting trends, finding insights for our strategy, and, of course, monitoring the campaigns' results.
Even though the system is user-friendly, sometimes we just don't have enough resources to conduct complex research. In such cases, we order custom research provided by YouScan's dedicated team. Yes, it requires additional payment, but the results are worth it.

No, lo elegí para complementar la información que recibo de otro producto. YouScan ha resultado una plataforma con cobertura más completa pero por limitaciones de datos de Twitter por ahora no puedo rechazar por completo otra plataforma.
Me encanta la cobertura y el alcance de la herramienta, su facilidad de uso, filtros muy bien organizados. Cabe mencionar que sus capacidades para detectar insights visuales, analizar y segmentar datos demográficos, intereses y ocupaciones de autores son impresionantes.
No me gustan las limitaciones de Twitter que hay porque se recolecta solo la data de los últimos 30 días. Igual antes no había tenido experiencia con operadores booleanos por eso se ma ha hecho un poco complicado trabajar con estos después de Mediatoolkit.

YouScan instantly gathers mentions from different channels, analyzes all the info, and gives us a clear overall picture and key metrics. It's incredibly convenient that YouScan now automatically translates mentions from other languages because our mentions originate from many markets.
We would like to be able to add additional custom notifications in addition to the standard ones, but this is not a serious problem.

YouScan helped me to take under control dozens of different placements and now I'm sure that we don't miss anything we need to know about our brand from our customers.
YouScan helps track brand mentions and react to negative situations as quickly as possible. It helps to systemize the whole control of your brand on social media platforms.
The sentiment system can be improved, but it still works ok and helps a lot. As I know, developers constantly working to improve it.
