Pros and cons

So far I am loving the communication with the Continue to Give team and their willingness to help me get started. Sweet [SENSITIVE CONTENT] even prayed for me at the end of our Zoom.
It has improved our ability to promote online giving for our non profit and the overall customer support has been good.
I haven't been using Continue to give for long but it has been great for what I need. I love that can choose when I receive the donation money.
Besides this glitch and a slight head ache with informing my donors (and losing some donations) I would definitely refer others to use continue to give.
My biggest problem is when the report says an ACH donation has failed when it has in fact gone through.
Inexperienced users sometimes make mistakes in the process without realizing it until inadvertent payments have been made.

it's a little cumbersome to navigate. The menus are a hard to navigate.

Migration from another popular CRM system to Continue to Give

There is always a learning curve when switching CRM systems. Moving to Continue to Give was no different. However, after just a few weeks of learning the techniques within the system... Continue to Give is the best we've encountered.The most impressive aspect has been our interaction with the support team to complete our migration of thousands of contacts and donor transactions. When we reported anomalies they fixed it... fast!

Pros

Continue to Give provides all typically expected CRM functionality. If there were features we needed or wanted that were not "baked in" the support team bent over backwards to implement them as new features. This is highly unusual in the cloud-based software vendor landscape.The use of tags for filtering and grouping query results makes the product pretty much endless in flexibility.

Cons

This software is easy to use. One feature we would like to see added is to display totals above filtered contact and transaction lists (for numeric fields and row counts), since there are multiple pages possible in a resulting, filtered list.

The Best Online Donation Software for 2022

I have used Continue to Give for almost 10 years. It is the best go to option when it comes to online giving and I have reviewed most platforms extensively.

Pros

It has everything our company needs to track donations and follow up with contributions statements. I tell everyone about C2G and the benefits it can add to their organization.

Cons

Would love to see the ability to edit and create our company profile into something more exciting. Basic tools work and are effective, but it would be fun to make the page more lively and interactive for donors.

C2G have been genuinely interested in serving our non-profit. They are timely in their communications and help and have really listened to our needs. We like the way they are always looking to simplify and streamline the software so that it is easy to use.

Pros

Integration of finance and donor management and communications. customer service and development has been great.

Cons

The communications templates and their development has been most challenging. We have needed a lot of help to set them up to meet our needs and we would love the software to generate mailing labels.

Makes online giving very easy

We found Continue to Give in the very beginning of the pandemic. Our church services shifted to online and we were looking for a reasonable way to offer online giving. The folks at Continue to Give gave me an online demonstration and we were up and running in no time.

Pros

The product is very easy to use. We use this system for online giving for church. Members can easily designate which fund(s) they would like their donation to go to as well as set up recurring donations. We were able to place a link in our website that takes users directly to our Continue To Give page.

Cons

The software is very user friendly. I have no complaints.

Reliable, Accessible and Helpful

It's hard to see how we could operate effectively without CTG handling security for credit card processing and online donations.

Pros

We really like the seamless donation processing, and the fairly easy method of accounting for all donations/receipts. The payment processing has been very reliable, and many of our donors prefer the option to make a recurring donation by credit card. CTG is also more cost effective than many competitors. The support staff has been very helpful.

Cons

We'd like to see a bit more information provided to donors as they setup donations. Inexperienced users sometimes make mistakes in the process without realizing it until inadvertent payments have been made.

Overall we are incredibly pleased with the costumer service and their desire to see your organization flourish.

Pros

This software is set up to help you as the church or missionary organization to easily receive donations. The whole set up helps those giving to have control of changing their account, giving, and updating their card info. This makes it easy to keep receiving support.

Cons

It takes some time to learn how to use the software, but once you learn it it’s an easy system to use.

Great online platform for churches

Continue to Give was easy to use for the donor and the church office. If there was ever a problem (rare), I had no issues with customer service. They were friendly, professional and solved my problems immediately.

Pros

Continue to Give was easy for our donors and integration with our software database made tracking easy.

Cons

I had a little difficulty when we needed to change a giving category, but once I contacted customer service I received the help I needed.

Quality Product

Continue to Give works very well. The customer support staff are very responsive, and will address any problem you have quickly, even if the problem is not one of there's. I had a problem with my personal email servicer and they promptly did what was necessary to fix the problem.

Pros

It was really easy to use, deploy and implement.

Cons

Nothing. I really don't have any complaints with the software.

Still Learning but Perfect for our Non Profit So Far

We needed seamless and flexible features to reach our community in soliciting support for our mission and vision. Even the most system features have been filling our needs. Excited to continue using and expanding our outreach.

Pros

We are a new non profit organization. Price and features were the two most important aspects we considered in our selection of a donor and reporting system.

Cons

We have not discovered any con to the system. The team is always available to answer questions and help us problem solve. The features are as easy and user-friendly as we expected.

We were two snowstorms away from financial crisis.

When our church giving relied primarily on people being present and submitting check or cash, a snow storm on a Sunday could seriously disrupt our cash flow. Two Sundays in a row could have created a crisis. We started working with Continue to Give well before the COVID-19 crisis, so our cash flow ended up being seamless, even while not meeting in person for five months! They're system cooperates with our database (Breeze), so tracking and reporting giving is easy. I'm grateful to have Continue to Give on our team.

Pros

The support is there to help us and our contributors use the system well. We have been able to create multiple funds as specific initiatives arrive, like a missions trip or a building project.

Cons

The online interface for contributors could use an aesthetic update.

Church Giving Platform

Continue to Give was the first online giving platform we used for our church. It was easy to implement, easy to teach to the end user and downloading transactions and reports was super easy.

Pros

The feature I liked most about Continue to Give is the payouts were gross dollars and the fee was deducted from our bank account once a month. This feature helped me balance and account for the total giving amount and was easy to match for audit purposes.

Cons

The feature I liked least was the inability to call someone if I needed to. Generally I use online options such as chat to discuss an issue but there are occasions when being able to speak to someone is more beneficial.

Overall, having this option has been great to offer our clients.

Pros

I like that this was represented through my local bank. I know exactly who I am talking to when I have an issue as I can go through my representative if I would like to. Continue to give associates have also been very helpful. No question too small. Very friendly to talk with over the phone.

Cons

Some items are hard to understand. I have to switch between admin and regular; wish that I didn't have to do that.

We Love Continue to Give

We implemented Continue to Give several months ago to assist with recurring donations and one time fundraising within our church. The process to set up was very easy, the program works great, the ability to add projects for fundraising on the fly is fabulous. The support staff is amazing. We love this product.

I have had a pretty good experience with Continue to Give. I personally signed up for it because of the recurring donations and found that to be a huge asset. I did accidentally sign up for the demo site and didn't find out for at least 2 months that no donation was going through and that was because the demo site simulated absolutely everything perfectly. Continue to Give is okay but not great

Over all the company has been okay to work with. Having said that I anm only staying with Continue to Give because it merges with my church management software. That feature is a big plus for me. I find that the features are clumsy, not very professional looking, and pretty antiquated. You get what you pay and that's what we have. An "okay" system at a good price.

Pros

It merges with my church management software.

Cons

The use of Wi-Fi for connectivity. Our previous company used the Verizon network and it was very reliable. Out system is only as stable as our internet. If we have an internet issue we have a giving issue.

Great service! Abigail goes above and beyond. If she doesn't know the answer to a question she finds it our or has a solution.

Pros

Customer Service is right there to help when needed. You always get the same person so you feel that you have a partnership/relationship and they make me feel like they appreciate my business.

Cons

The reporting - when you compare records/batches with your bank records. I think they are working on a fix. :) It would be nice to have the capabilities to create a store where it is a purchase and not a donation.

I've only been using the service for a few months now. Overall it's a great way to collect both one-time and recurring donations from supporters who want to be able to give online. There's a few minor things that I'd like to be able to change (for example, when you display your monthly goal & what percentage of that goal you have reached, their formula treats one-time donations and monthly donations...
