Some things are stuck the way they are and dont apply to what Im doing or if things change in the way we create products it is hard to apply the changes.

I can search through all my materials by color or fiber content or size or date purchased, etc. It's a lifesaver for me to be able to see my materials with photos and all the data I need.

Some of the bugs are frustrating. For example, some of the Etsy fees do not auto associate with sales/products.

None, I was hoping to use it as an essential took to keeping out business in check. I don't know how but if you look at programs like Shopify - they offer such great support and for the same price. I believe you could offer better support if you could grow your business but how fast is the business growing if you have people like me just giving up.

Invaluable for my small business 

I am new to Craftybase, so most of my experience is limited to just the setup process, but I hope this helps inventory managing and control be less stressful. I feel like Craftybase has the best set of features for products that don't come pre-assembled. I find the price point to be quite high - especially since I cannot get manufacture at a lower level plan. We will see how much value Craftybase adds and whether it is worth the price point.

Craftybase is not bad apart from the sales channel issue for me and it’s functionality maybe limiting as you begin to grow or you need more efficiency keeping inventory across several platforms. It is great for start up.

Hi Navine - sorry to hear you have had some issues with our Square integration. To confirm, Craftybase does fully import line item product details and customer data from Square so it does sound like something is going wrong here - please do get in touch with us via support and we'll be happy to take a look into this for you.

CB is fairly easy to navigate and learn. Great customer support via email or real-time chat. I was able to run tax reports easily and keep track of inventory.

i am sort of solving inventory issues, but there could certainly be a lot more automated features to take a lot of time off the process.  if it could automatically update inventory in e-commerce systems and if it could send automatic emails to me when a product gets low, that would be hugely beneficial.

Craftybase has 100% streamlined my manufacturing and supply ordering processes. I can scan through low inventory reports and know immediately what I need to purchase next. 

Easy to set up and use

It's been great to work with Craftybase. Their support is very responsive and provides the quality customer service it's hard to come by. One feature we just discovered was bundles and we are now are able to offer bundled products with an easy and no need for manual entry each week.

After entering in my materials used, I can link them to my finished products so that I know exactly what inventory I have on hand and which products I can make at any time. Craftybase also automatically imports orders from various sources, which are mapped to my products.  So, when it's time to fulfill orders I can see which products I need to make based on my orders, exactly the materials needed, and can easily track my production, which decreases my material count in real time.  So my material inventory is always precisely up-to-date, and I can order supplies when I need them.  It helps to keep me super organized with minimal effort to make sure my business runs smoothly.

I couldn't run my business without craftybase. I run a jewelry shop with thousands of orders per year. I've got over 200 skus with 70 variations each and CB makes it simple to create product recipes, manufactures, and adjust inventory. There is some initial setup for variations but after that it's all automated.v taxes are a breeze with this software

I’ve always felt intimidated by the inventory process, but after some quick tutorials to familiarize myself with the basics, Craftybase made it very easy to apply the principles to my business. They are responsive, fix problems when they arise, they are excellent at walking you through what it is you need to do to achieve your task.  It's been a life saver for me since I still have a day job and takes some of the nitty gritty record keeping off my hands through automations.

Once I understood that it takes time and effort to start using (and then keep using) Craftybase, it became much easier to run my business.  I actually let Craftybase run ME.  The customer service is top-notch (although I do wish they didn't run on UK time) and I'd be lost without it.

Craftybase Review: Is exactly what I was looking for

Janice:                                                I'm Janice. I am the owner of Quintessential Aromatherapy and I give Craftybase a five-star review.
                                                       Before Craftybase, I was just using Google spreadsheets and that wasn't really working very well because I had to try and make sure that the pricing for all of my products was correct on the one page, and then I had to make sure that every other worksheet page was updated as well. And it got to be really difficult working with a lot of different formulas, and I couldn't tell what I actually had left in stock for product. I could just tell what I needed to make for a certain product that I was making.
                                                       I was recommended Craftybase by Jacqueline from The Product Boss, and it was on their list of different software to use for inventory manufacturing. And I checked out the other ones that they had recommended as well, but I chose Craftybase because it was exactly what I was looking for in a software and it was priced for my budget.
                                                       Getting started with Craftybase was actually really easy. They have a step-by-step guide that I just downloaded and printed off, and they also have a really great customer support email that they get back to you within 24 to 48 hours. And very friendly, very helpful staff. It was a lot easier than I expected, and like I said, it was step-by-step, so they made it, onboarding, very easy and a lot less stressful than I expected.
                                                       For anyone who is looking at Craftybase as an option, I would definitely recommend to do their 14-day trial. It is definitely worth it, and if you have any questions, you can reach out to the customer service desk. You can use their chatbot that they have, and they have a really extensive help center and frequently asked questions section. It covers a lot of what you're looking to learn and what you're looking to do when you're setting up your Craftybase.

Jen R:                                                 Hi, my name is Jen. I'm a Formulator in the cosmetic industry, and I give Craftybase a four out of a five star rating.
                                                       Before Craftybase, I was using a mixture of numbers on my Mac and physical notebooks, but I never knew what inventory I had to manufacture with. I was never a hundred percent certain. When I was deciding between Craftybase and some other programs, I don't remember the name of the other programs, but I know that they weren't compatible with my Mac, they were a program you would buy and download. And so I would have had to run Linux on my Mac in order to make it work. And that sounded scary and complicated, and I was trying to make things simpler. So I gave the basic level of Craftybase, a try.
                                                       So in addition to having a program that was going to be easiest to use with my Mac that I was already using. I chose Craftybase because I would be able to fetch data from Square and PayPal that I use for eBay as well as Etsy. So it comes across multiple platforms that I use and that way I would be doing less work through the Craftybase program.
                                                       I don't have a huge company and yet still Craftybase was a pretty steep curve to onboard all of my materials, my formulas and my products. Once I figured out with some help from the online tech support, it did get easier. And the more I asked questions, the less errors I had to go back in and correct. I've been using it now for almost two years, and I still don't know all... The entire program, but it's a lifesaver for me, as far as tracking both what I'm selling, how much product inventory I have. And then the most important aspect for me was tracking my materials that I use to formulate with so that I know when I'm getting low on a product or I'm out, I know what to order so that I don't run out. And when it's time to make another product, I have everything that I need.
                                                       When I first started using Craftybase, the only way to reach out to the developers if I was having a challenge was through their their chat group online. And that was effective. But now in the past, I think it's maybe even the past six months, the Craftybase developers have an official Facebook group that I believe anyone can join. You don't have to already be a member, a paying number in order to get in the group. So I would suggest that people that are considering it go in there and read posts and search through that and ask questions because in addition to hearing from the administrators that know the program, because they wrote it, there's other people in there that use the program every day or every week. And they're happy to share tips and tricks that worked for them. And then you can see if it will work for you. I do know from being in that group, that depending on the type of business that you have, it can vary greatly and help people use it.
                                                       So somebody that's sewing custom clothing for people can still use Craftybase, which is so cool since that's so much different than cosmetic formulation, but just that it's designed for smaller businesses and tracking your products and inventory. There's a lot of possibilities. So I would recommend people check that out to see just how on earth you would track fabric and ribbon versus jugs of coconut oil.
