What do I like best? For me the best features about DNN platform are the ease of use and speed. I can implement a fully functional web portal including user-role based security. Also, I can update the website real-time and check on my changes. Editing, publishing and monitoring content is truly easy. No need to require heavy web development skills. Another great advantage of DNN platform is the...

Evoq has great choice for Microsoft Azure lovers via Microsoft cloud store, and a complete and Agile CMS management for the website developers. Creating , editing, publishing of complete content is under your control and supervision and that's it.
First of all I like the simplicity of this platform. There are so many beautiful layouts with so many pre-made templates. It has a lot of great features, it has never been so easy to build a website and create a web page. Creating an access level for editing content, as well as the ability to customize content based on user group and geographic area is very useful to me. In general, it is possible to personalize content based on different filters, and it has great ideas for showing custom content to a group of users.
The ability to automatically transfer website and DB from other CMS platforms, such as transferring content and media from another site to Evoq, should be easier, and this possibility should be available to all sites with just one click.

Much better currently (2022) than the original version(s) used as early as 2018. But original version in 2018 was borderline unusable. Could have been server capacity issues as well (very slow to navigate, making changes would time out before they were finalized) but even current version does not provide a good user interface when making updates and changes. Embedded HTML tools are hit or miss and do not produce expected results. Required to dig into source code to reliably make changes.
Recognizable interface that is easy to navigate (but hard to expect consistent, predictable results from)
The recognition of the interface seems to be a result of the interface cobbling together parts of other back end systems and making them *almost* work. If you want what I can only assume is a cheap alternative to high end software, this is a good 80-90% solution assuming you are well versed in HTML.

Evoq DNN has definitely made it easy to learn web building and continue on up from there. It has made it easy to edit and keep up our website.
The software was set up for anyone from beginner to advanced to use which makes it more versatile, there are lots of features included in the software for websites.
The only con I had found was that you have to update it constantly to make sure your site is secure.

A huge step up from old DNN days. We've been using DNN since 2006/2007 and the current version is feature full and easy to use.
