How we picked the 4 top rated products

We chose the high-performing solutions on this list based on verified user ratings on our site. Depending on available data, qualifying products either had to be among the most user-reviewed or the most searched-for products in the internal communications software category. They also needed to have sufficient reviews about meeting management, have a minimum user rating of 3 out of 5 for that feature, and show evidence of U.S. market presence. We then added a distinction for the product with the highest rating for meeting management based on our proprietary ratings and reviews. Sponsorship or client status has no influence on the selection of these products, but it may impact the order in which products appear.

User insights about the meeting management feature

Reviewers appreciate OnBoard's meeting management capabilities, particularly for board meetings. They find it valuable to have a centralized location for all meeting-related materials and resources. Users highlight the ease of creating agendas, adding documents, and notifying board members. They also value the ability to update meeting packets without starting from scratch and the real-time synchronization of information. The platform's user-friendly interface and the ability to link meetings to personal calendars are also noted as significant benefits.
“This is the most important function for us. I am able to upload the Board Packet into OnBoard and then send a notification to our Board when it is available so they can review the information prior to our monthly meetings. I love this system! I load this information as multiple documents and then can compile it into a Book. If we need to make any updates or modify our agenda, I do not have to redo the whole thing, I can simply update one or two document and then form the "Book" again and I am done. This is really helpful and time saving verses having to remake a whole Board Packet if we have to make any amendments to the meeting. ”

User insights about the meeting management feature

Reviewers indicate that Slack's meeting management is useful for facilitating discussions and coordinating team activities. They appreciate the integration with Google Workspace for scheduling and the ease of setting up meetings. Users highlight the convenience of linking to other conferencing tools like Zoom and Google Meet. However, some prefer other platforms for formal meetings, and there are occasional issues with audio/video calls. Overall, Slack's meeting management is seen as efficient for team collaboration and communication.
“An important part of team communication is scheduling meetings for what can't be covered in the chat app. Slack offers some good conferencing integrations for this, and it's especially easy to just drop a video link (Hangouts, Zoom, etc) in chat and everyone click from there. Status symbols ("away," etc) are also useful for this.”
