Pros and cons

The customer support and advice/teaching videos are good to learn how to use. Integration into websites is great and the app looks good.
I love the ease for customers to book fitness classes in advance. I can offer my customers different pricing packages too which Gymcatch help you to set up.
Great functionality (multiple bookings, packages), simple and clear for users, no bugs/glitches, reliable, secure, free trial, great customer service.
Not being able to delete a class. I had doubled up a class by mistake and wanted to delete it but found that quite hard to do.
My only struggle was I can't get the API to link to my website for direct booking.
I no longer needed to contact customers individually.

Great package for a small part time fitness biz

Really good - price wise its value for money

Pros

I love the fact that it is app based for customers. I moved away from this software years ago when I ran a small gym - now that I have returned there are even more features - allows freedom to tailor to your business and customers.

Cons

Having to use desktop site as admin to do more of the back office features.

GymCatch - easy & efficient to use

Easy booking, less hassle when it comes to communicating, time saver!

Pros

Gymcatch has all the features that I need for bookings for my fitness classes. The zoom integration is key and i like the auto-refund options. My customers are finding it easy to use & straightforward to book classes. The internal message system is great and my customers like that it integrates with your calender. Having the catch up link avaialble through the booking link is such a time saver!

Cons

For customers to be able to see our full timetable when searching for classes, rather than a restricted view of only the week ahead would be much better.

I’ve enjoyed the time with gym catch but it was hard to set up and I’ve spent a lot of time chatting to online help. I haven’t added demand yet so I hope that’s easy.

Pros

Feels fun and modern Like that it’s a growing company The people are really helpful in the chat when you can’t work something out.

Cons

Calendar integration not great sends double one that’s cancelled so you calendar is a mess. No name on booking in the calendar . No reminder text sent to clients . Not designed for 1-1 bookings PT. Want to reach out for help in the evenings and weekends but gym Catch closes. Vids on YouTube are fast and bit quick to follow. Bit expensive as most people need all the add on’s to compete with other booking systems. Would like more templates on offer.

Cons

The sole difficulty I encountered was the inability to connect the API to my website to enable direct booking.

A great booking system

GymCatch saves me time in booking administration and keeps all my records in one place. Customer support is absolutely fantastic and they listen to customer views when planning future iterations of functionality.

Pros

GymCatch is easy to use, set up and administer. It keeps everything in one place and allows me to handle bookings, payments, integrate with Zoom and host an On Demand library.

Cons

There isn’t a way to customise the emails that go out to bookers. The On Demand functionality could also be improved to allow videos to be hosted on a GymCatch page so bookers aren’t redirected off to other sites.

Brilliant in every way

Right from the beginning the support from the team has been second to none. I looked at other providers but had no support from them - where as with Gymcatch I felt totally valued and looked after.

Pros

It’s simple to use, both as a business and a client for my business.

Cons

It glitches sometimes and customers can not register or check in but this is easily rectified if I “attend” then after class.

Pros

The customer service at Gym is amazing [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] goes above and beyond and the booking site itself is quick and easy to use. I cannot fault Gymcatch amazing booking system and superb customer support. Cannot recommend enough.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like! It would be nice to see the other customers name when someone books 2 places

Amazing from start to finish

Pros

Low admin from a business owner point of view. Super slick and easy to use for clients. Visually great. Extra like calendar sync and checks are brilliant. To be fair I could go on and on about it. It’s that good

Cons

None at all. I really can’t fault it all.

Pros

Being a busy instructor, I needed a easy, functional and professional payment system that delivered. From the first point of contact to setting up my business and using on a daily basis, Gymcatch has been exceptional. Customers have commented on how easy it is to use and I found the set up and functionality very straight forward and simple.

Cons

Membership packages, which I know the team are working on.

I'm very happy with the app.

Pros

Easy to use and reasonably priced. Ability to collect client data.

Cons

I'd love to see more measuring capabilities - e.g. how many clients are purchasing particular packs. This will assist with sales and marketing. An easier way to intergrate the booking system into my website so customers can book directly from my website.

Great Booking System

Pros

An easy to use system at an affordable price. You get a free trial to try it out before you make a purchase. It is now fully intergated with zoom if you have online classes. You are able to set up discount codes, packages, take payment for block bookings and also ad hoc payments. If you use this code you will get an extra month added to your introductory free trial [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]

Cons

Some features that were missing have now been included, such as participation waivers.

Great Online Scheduling Package

Pros

Love this software. Really easy to set up and deploy. Customer Support was exceptional. Response was very quick and resolved my issues immediately with some great How to Videos. Love the scheduling and set up of packages, classes and my customers are finding it easy to use

Cons

The monthly passes causes some issue with booking as you can not book classes for the future is it expires the next day even if you have ticked the continuous booking. It is frustrating for my customers but I do understand why this can't be changed. I don't want to use memberships which I guess is the solution.

Studio owners GymCatch experience

Great, when I have had a problem, the response has been excellent. Very helpful and keen to make things work for us. Also listened to suggestions to improve the service.

Pros

The phone app is excellent and there are now lots of add on features that have helped me take and manage online bookings from anywhere. There are videos explaining how to do things. The team listen to suggestions… example courses and drop ins. The emails are great so everyone knows what is happening.

Cons

A few things, some times clients click twice and end up booking in twice and do not mean to. There are lots of options and I feel there is lots to go wrong if you don’t fully understand the set up. I am still learning. The “How to “ videos are excellent. Sometimes there are lots of clicks to get to where I need, all takes time. Generally the product is excellent though.

Cannot Rate Highly Enough

I can't rate Gymcatch highly enough. They were recommended to me and I have since recommended them to lots of other people too. The product itself is exactly what my fitness business needs and their customer service is excellent.

Pros

Simple to use for both business and clients themselves. It saves me so much time and has been a bit of a life saver this year in particular.

Cons

There will always be small things which could be improved upon. I have found that when I have messaged Gymcatch to ask about new things I would like, they are generally already setting them up. They are brilliant at keeping up with what the sector needs.

A great booking system for my classes

Very good customer service and how they are always looking to improve, add and stay up to date with their system to make it better for customers. Easy for clients to use and has the features I need.

Pros

The integration of Zoom so clients can book everything in one place. Memberships and passes to offer. Easy for clients to use.

Cons

You have to sometimes go forwards and back to find what you are looking for. On demand I do not use and have to use a different way to get on demand videos to clients as this doesn't work for me on GymCatch as too complicated and not easy for clients to access. Sending YouTube links has been easier for me. It would be good if there was a portal or easy access area for clients who are on a specific membership or want to purchase on demand, to access recorded content.

Couldn’t live without gymcatch now !!!

I don’t think I could work without gymcatch now ! My business is small but it has taken the worry out of wether people will attend or not . The more classes I do the more necessary gymcatch is .

Pros

It’s easy for everyone to use . I have had very few issues and any queries I’ve had have been answered immediately and I am old and not great with software !!😂

Cons

Slight niggle …. I have to log on through business portal every time ! Unless I’ve got that wrong ???

Brilliant entry level

Gymcatch is brilliant at what it does and is not expensive. Great value for money. I would recommend it to anyone. Easy to sign up and use and easy to cancel if you need to. Great for start-ups. Check it has all the functionality you need.

Pros

Gymcatch is an easy system to implement and use. Great for small gyms, studios and PTs. Customers soon got used to using the system and app. Gymcatch is excellent value for money with a great support team. Instant answers and advice via the online chat system.

Cons

In terms of managing our class bookings and payment Gymcatch is absolutely brilliant. Only moved away because we wanted more functionality, especially marketing and campaigns management within the same tool.

A brilliant affordable booking app!

Pros

As a small fitness provider many of the booking systems were well out of budget for us. Even though we're relatively small we still needed good functionality and that's what Gymcatch offers through their app and add ons. From day one the team at Gymcatch have been amazing. Their response to queries has been pretty much instant. They've listened to everything we've suggested on our journey of using the app and the app itself has been excellent. It's user friendly, our customers love the rewards and our transition from cash to this system has been seamless thanks to the Gymcatch team

Cons

To be honest as yet we haven't found any cons

Best software for bookings and customer service

Gymcatch is amazing I used other platforms in the past and they weren't as easy to navigate and amend. Gymcatch is straight forward, user friendly and a great price. The customer support is amazing the team are wonderful and the chat feature is a great way to get support there is also a whole database of videos that walk you through everything.

Easy to use and navigate with an abundance of features and clear simple pricing

Cons

There is nothing I don't like about the software

Great start to my business. Easy to use for me and my customers making life a LOT easier with regards to bookings, cancellations and payment. I have also had excellent help from your team with any problems or questions that I have had.

Pros

Extremely easy to view all customers and current and previous bookings they have made. Simple to set up classes, change or cancel them and very helpful knowing each customer booked on will be notified automatically, which saves me a huge amount of time.

Cons

The only thing I currently struggle with is the app. It is simple to use yet there is 1 basic fault I can find. When clicking on a class to manage to attendees, we aren't able to add everybody on our customer database or cancel somebody from the class. This is something that needs to be done quite a lot and I'm finding I need to keep logging on through the website to sort which can be time consuming.

I love Gymcatch! I love the ease for customers to book fitness classes in advance. I can offer my customers different pricing packages too which Gymcatch help you to set up....like discount, membership & auto refund options.

Pros

Some customers have found using Gymcatch easier than what they have expected. Some of my customers do not like technology very much so I just say to them its like 'shopping online' for a holiday! It worked for me.

I would have liked the payment processing system all in with Gymcatch and not have a separate software called Stripe.....although it does work well together......

Thank you too for the payment processing feedback - we always veer towards custom builds where we can, with that one it's just such a big undertaking (including regulatory approvals etc), we think it's the best route for now certainly.
