I love the simplicity, the elegance of the app, the richness of features and the pace at which they make changes. I also love the availability of support both chat and phone.
The product did not perform or provide as I was told it would and it's been a huge waste of my time and energy. Particularly disappointed with the lack of customer service.
The ability for teachers to request subs in AMAZING as well as adjusting renewal price for a limited amount of time. Reporting is pretty robust and very easy to create custom filters.
I decided to purchase, they charged me immediately, but did nothing my first on-boarding call. 2 weeks later was supposed to be my second but I couldn’t get a response for days.
It's also very customer friendly. My clients are very happy with the improvement from our old software to book and purchase online.
The only thing that has been mildly annoying is when I’m scrolling through my classes and I’m looking at, for example, page 4, when I’m done looking at a class, it returns to page 1 instead of page 4.
We like how seamlessly our schedule and VOD was integrated into our website. We also like how easy the app is to use for our clients for purchasing packages and scheduling appointments and classes.
They booked the demo, then cancelled it and took the monthly subscription before I was even able to start using the software.
It has been a very seamless transition and I have felt supported through the whole process. I love the marketing features and I regained a few students when we launched.

This person was ALWAYS attentive and happy to help us with whatever we needed. We explained the entire situation and since then, they have been a great help at resolving any issues we encountered.
Credit card swiping feature on mobile devices is virtually non-functional. Sensitivity of the software on the "wrong" browser, wrong device, after updates, etc is frustrating.
The software is even better than MindBody and my clients love the branded app. We are very pleased with Wellness Living and I would be happy to recommend their services to future potential clients.
However...after several frustrating calls with customer service no one could figure out what was going on. Four hours go by and finally after much frustration we learn that a server went down.
Totally positive great support staff which is important to me because time is valuable and when I need it I need it now.
So you call to complain and they tell you that your "new feature request" will be noted, and when enough other people make the same request they will address it at that time.
I am obviously still learning the new system but thus far, I am super impressed with both the ease of use as well as the stellar customer support.
There are no substantive resources to train new staff with WL- this is entirely on the business to do rather than WL. No worthwhile integrations.
The onboarding was so efficient. The software itself is SUPER intuitive and some things that took 20 minutes in Mindbody only take seconds in Wellness LIving, which I LOVE.
That is a good feeling and I work thru the system daily now w/ great confidence.
For clarity sake, their customer support team is full of really nice people who want to help.
WellnessLIving has great competitive pricing which is saving me over $350 monthly; I was able to do away with two other applications.
Being a small, independent owner/operator with limited resources, Wellness Living has been a huge help. My clients have commented how easy it is to use and they appreciate the reminders.
The program and the app are very user friendly on both ends, consumer and staff. I'm very happy to be a part of Wellness Living family.

Hapana has provided a great platform from which we can now scale our operations. The support team has been first class and super responsive.
I wont be sticking around with these guys much longer, I feel mislead and lied to and cant believe a company this big can be so bad at offering management software.
It’s perfect for our business in every way. It is very user friendly which is perfect for our staff.
Horrible also they trap you into their payment provider who rips you off and demands unrealistic payment if you try to leave.
The feature I love the most is the Facebook schedule interface, because I can post my class and training offerings right on my FB Business Page. The software is user friendly and easy to navigate.
To add on to this, the customer service, or lack of, made this problem even larger.
The Hapana system is world class and their team are great to deal with. Making the decision to change systems was a big one and it has been worth it.
It unfortunately ended poorly on all accounts.
Good integration with social media, email. Automated marketing system is fantastic.
How difficult it can be to navigate, how slow and ineffective support are. They don't help at all or action any suggested improvements.

Definitely would recommend giving it a try. Great customer service, great website and amazing tool to keep ranks, dates, payments, attendance and schedules organized.
Overall there wasn't anything that I can say was bad.
Like the family account feature, belt ranks are easy to create, add, and modify. Customer Service is fantastic, quick answers and always willing to help.
The attendance check-in is a bit confusing when you have multiple classes running.
Super easy to use, it works, and if you have a question they are very responsive.
Prior to using Martial Arts On Rails we operated a manual system and as a consequence we were losing track of payments, grading, etc.
The beautiful UI and overall feel of the software got us hooked. This software is on par if not better than most big named software out there that we have tried at a fraction of the price.
What few small problems I've had were quickly resolved by the founder. I have had ZERO problems with the back-end payment system or student management.

Like the family account feature, belt ranks are easy to create, add, and modify. Customer Service is fantastic, quick answers and always willing to help.
The attendance check-in is a bit confusing when you have multiple classes running.

Prior to using Martial Arts On Rails we operated a manual system and as a consequence we were losing track of payments, grading, etc.
The beautiful UI and overall feel of the software got us hooked. This software is on par if not better than most big named software out there that we have tried at a fraction of the price.
What few small problems I've had were quickly resolved by the founder. I have had ZERO problems with the back-end payment system or student management.

Excellent support at deployment stage; good customer service response times; very friendly staff; used to be market leaders; possibly good functionality but only available at premiums packages.
The customer service is TERRIBLE, the subscription is VERY expensive (not to mention it changes almost every year), and it is the WORST to set up correctly.
I liked the brand recognition and all the features available for business intelligence. We were glad to have the Livestream option available for classes.
Awful company and system. I have been a customer of mindbody for 4 years now and their level of customer service has got worse and worse and their prices have only increased.
I recommend Mindbody for most of my beauty & wellness clients -- it offers an all-in-one platform that is tailored to their needs, and is extremely user friendly.
I have contacted them when I was charged more than once and it took forever to talk to someone. After speaking with a representative the problem was not fixed.
Overall there is no other comparable software that suits our needs like Mindbody does. Thank goodness for their excellent customer support.
Did not allow for multi business integration. Terribly pushy sales reps. I felt bullied into buying it.

I have never been so frustrated and disappointed with a product before.
Finding any type of fitness class is super easy with this app. They also run deals so trying something new, whether it be Barre, Yoga, or Boxing, is made super easy with this product.
The app can be buggy at times (sign-in issues, booking errors, long loading times) which has lead to frustrated calls from customers of my clients.
I love how customize-able Mindbody is. We were really able to tailor it to fully fit our needs and adjust a ton of settings to make it perfect for our use.
I hate to say it, it's just a bad system. Waiting for the next software that caters to studios and makes things user friendly.
