Amicus Attorney overview

What is Amicus Attorney?

Amicus Attorney is a cloud and on-premise law practice management solution that enables legal firms to streamline the entire case lifecycle, from creating documents to raising invoices for clients. It offers a calendar module, which lets professionals share and update appointments on calendars, receive notifications in case of event changes, and link events, such as court dates, directly with cases in order to track progress.

Features of Amicus Attorney include a court date calculator, rule-based calendaring, case matter management, billing, document automation, and more. Businesses can utilize the time entry assistant to track recorded/unrecorded activities and apply custom billing rates or behaviors as per case requirements. It also provides a task manager, which allows firms to handle information about client matters, deadlines, contracts, deeds, pleadings, filings, and transcripts on a centralized dashboard.

Amicus Attorney facilitates integration with several third-party applications such as APX PayNow, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office 365, DropBox, Salesforce, LexisNexis, and more. It provides a file intake management module, which lets attorneys assign files to firm members and set preferences for automatically notifying specific users on future updates.
