Pros and cons

We find that the Naverisk platform is by far one of the best MSP tools we use the fact you can have it as a on-prem solution is a great benefit from us as it is completely under our own control.
Coupled with outstanding support, a great customer forum, and constant improvements. It's the little engine that could.
In addition the support that is provided by Naverisk, from my BDM to the support staff, I would highly recommend Naverisk to any business looking at maximizing their efficiency at a very good cost.
The monthly billing is still a manual process (instead of being automated based on agent use). Lack of console for Macintosh, lack of HTML5 remote access tools.
It can be difficult to figure out which report will get you the intended data you need.
We don't use it at all, we use a third party. My last CON is the built in SNMP capabilities are worthless.

Naverisk RMM has transformed our Business

Reviewed 6 years ago

Increased Revenue Decreased time to resolve issues

Pros

The Naverisk RMM solution has transformed how we do business. It has enabled us to support significantly more endpoints and provide our customers with best in class service. Utilizing the Naverisk RMM to proactively monitor our clients system and create custom profiles for vertical and LOB applications we are now able to keep our clients up-time maximized and time to resolution for issues to a minimum. The Naverisk team has been very responsive to support requests and available for their "unlimited training" when we have a question. After using a number of other MSP RMM solutions we have found that Naverisk has been the best fit for us and our clients.

Cons

The road map for future releases has been somewhat unclear in the past however now that it has been bought back by the original developers we have seen better communications.

Having tried a few other RMMs over the years, we are now in our 5th year as a very happy customer

Reviewed 6 years ago

We are able to manage a lot more customers' systems with a small team than we could before.

Pros

Naverisk has always felt like a tool designed by MSPs for MSPs, which is how it originated. It serves our needs very well in managing 800+ devices and the support guys are always very responsive and resolve issues quickly (very few of them to be honest, just the occasional bug found in a new release, which they acknowledge and deal with well). We run Naverisk on our own servers rather than the hosted...

Cons

The remote control features have always felt a bit clunky with a heavy reliance on Java to open VNC or RDP channels. This has been improved quite a bit lately with the introduction of Splashtop but I still feel it could see a bit more polish for a seamless experience

There is too much of a good thing

Reviewed a year ago

I feel I really never used it to its full potential because it just wasn't intuitive enough and presented too much at a time that important information was lost in the noise.

Pros

It has a ton of features and can provide quite a number of benefits if they are used

Cons

The interface is too busy and for all the features, you get lost in them and only end up using a handful. Too much digging is required to have things at the forefront of your display. It's information overload.

Great product for the price

Reviewed a year ago

Easy to use and easy to deploy.

Pros

Ease of use and easy to deploy. The company was a pleasure to work with, and as a CIO I use this software in 25+ locations

Cons

The lack of a desktop ticketing API was a simple fix that should be incorporated sooner rather than later. Remote administration to the native admin profile would be a nice feature.

The BEST support in the Industry!

Reviewed 2 years ago

The issues alerts/tracking has been very helpful, as well as the extra centralized information and control. It gives me great tools to quickly resolve many issues behind the scenes while users are uninterrupted.

Pros

Great product, but even GREATER support. In my nearly 30 years of business, they continue to provide the BEST support I have ever had in the industry. Hands down.

Cons

Hard to answer as the product continues to grow. The few frustrations, like incorrect antivirus/security alerts, are usually due to limitations beyond their control.

Product is extremely easy to use. Dashboard is not overly complicated like other products we tested

Reviewed 6 years ago

This allows me to better sleep each night. I'm notified if a service or server has gone down or requires any attention. Also provides instant information on any server or desktop.

Pros

Easy interface. Constant alerts. Practical pricing. Friendly and knowledgeable support. Very simple and easy to learn and configure each client with their own parameters. Can also allow client access to their own agents.

Cons

Waiting for a central method to save client network details and a simple method to a centralize passwords and stay secure. Hopefully they'll add this to the product soon.

An IT technicians perfect tool for RMM

Reviewed 3 years ago

It has helped me and my colleagues audit large numbers of machines with a variety of parameters, saving both time for you and the client as it can usually be done without the clients intervention.

Pros

It is full of useful features that save you time either sitting infront of the target PC or connecting through remote desktop.

Cons

It can be difficult to figure out which report will get you the intended data you need. The UI can also be difficult to work with as changing settings can be on a sub-client basis which has cause trouble in the past.

Naverisk is an affordable, all in one solution

Reviewed a year ago

Naverisk allows us to manage more systems with fewer technicians. The support has always been responsive and stellar.

Pros

Naverisk is a great asset to our company, allowing us to utilize a single program to maintain, service, monitor and patch our client systems as well as manage the support and service tickets.

Cons

The on premise documentation for the Naverisk System upgrade procedures could be a little more explanatory, or the upgrade procedure could be more automated

Naverisk Saved my business

Reviewed 9 months ago

Naverisk was the one stop shop for my MSP business. Remote support, Patch Management and a Help Desk Ticket system all in one.

Pros

The seemless integration with Splashtop is fantastic. I also love the hardware and software inventory.

Cons

Navigation of the workflow (what is where) takes some getting used to. Not as intuitive as other products yet works really well

Value for the money. Personalized Customer Service.

Reviewed 6 years ago

Automating management of distributed client devices.

Pros

It's the balance between the number of features vs ease of use. Not bloated like some of the competition. Speed of Agent Deployment, Remote Control and Accepts the wide variety of general scripts.

Cons

User Interface could be better. Some of the built-in reports are not adequate for our compliance needs.

Pros

It's ability for us to easily manage and monitor our customers. And the availability and efficiency of support staff when any assistance is required for any reason what so ever.

Not the easiest to use from a mobile phone when required, but other than that I have no cons to report.

Amazing software

Reviewed a year ago

I think the platform is great. I'd reviewed/had some free trials of a number of other platforms, whilst they boast about their flashing interface, they don't come anywhere near to the functionality that Naverisk offers.

Pros

The platform was so easy to deploy, in a little under a day, it was set up and ready to deploy to all endpoints.

Cons

The alerts we receive for support tickets can be a little overwhelming.
