What is Certn?

Certn is a tech-enabled background check service that delivers a plethora of background checks using within a matter of minutes. Certn provides domestic and international criminal background checks, credit reports, reference checks, education verification, driving record checks, identity verification, and more. With Certn's self-service portal, businesses can submit multiple background check applications, customize the self-service interface any way using white-labeling tools, and utilize an intuitive API and ATS integration to integrate Certn with existing systems and workflows.

Utilizing smart technology, Certn is able to generate comprehensive reports with data from over 200,000 sources and more than 150 countries. In addition to common background checks, Certn also provides Enhanced Electronic Identity Verification (EID+) which will extract ID data using optical character recognition and advanced barcoding and detect false identities using AI-powered technology and verification experts.

Certn integrates with many major applicant tracking systems (ATS), including Workday, Lever, Greenhouse, Workable and more.
