Nothing better than Gmail

Reviewed 4 years ago

Gmail is the best email service that anyone can have. All the associate service and integration that can be done with Gmail like Google Docs or Google Meet has help me to have more power and control to help managing my daily task better.

Pros

No email hosting software has do the job that Gmail has done. Managing email, auto sign-up for website, access to Google Suite and many more can be done with Gmail account. Gmail also can be upgraded to business account, which i can have my own domain email and using Gmail email hosting service to managing all the incoming email.

Cons

Getting a customer support service from Google is not as easy as it should be. I need to email them and wait for several days for them to finally response to my email, and no option to connect to the support service by phone for my country.

The best out there - still not good enough

Reviewed 9 months ago

I think it has been a good experience overall, but I really hate the way they have things on offer (like space) and then they retract that and charge you for it when you get used to it.

Pros

Spam blocker is better than anything else out there. The inbox look is clean, and emails tend to get through without outages and problems. Calendar management is great. Set up with own domain is exceptional. Great layout of Google One, personal administration space.

Cons

The surveillance associated with Google, and intrusion into everything. Rubbish integration with things like home automation (none). Google not providing the functionality of things like IFTTT, etc. (so you have to buy one of those services instead or get used to poorly designed alternatives in the suite). Contacts management is awful. Terrible integration for multiple work accounts on mobile phone. Ridiculously bad layout of their Google Workspaces administration space.

My go to email platform

Reviewed 16 days ago

Gmail has been an invaluable tool for both personal and profesional communication and has been a positive experience.

Pros

This has been my go-to email platform for most of my life. Gmail is easy to navigate, the organized layout is incredibly helpful. The ability to categorize emails into tabs is extremely helpful for organizing. Gmails spam filtering is also great.

Cons

Some of the features are very complex, there are so many settings it's hard to figure out where to go sometimes.

Gmail Is Good Overall - Needs Better Search Function

Reviewed 4 months ago
Pros

It's a straightforward, easy-to-use email management system, inside of a well-integrated Google ecosystem (Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc).

Cons

The search function is not as efficient as it could be. I often type in a keyword that I KNOW is in an email, but that email doesn't pop up in the search. Sometimes I have to type in the name of the person I corresponded with, or change the capitalization of the keyword in order for the email to appear.

Effective communication made easy

Reviewed 3 years ago

I rely on Gmail for about 90% of all my official communications. Synchronization across multiple devices and ease of use on mobile devices means that I never have to lose any productivity when I am away from the office or my PC. And the great array of Google products I am able to access directly via Gmail reduces my workflow interruptions to the barest minimum.

Pros

The best part of using Gmail is that it serves as the easiest and most practical conduit to the bulk of other really amazing and complementary google products and services. Beyond making email communication very easy, integration with Google calendar means that I can easily feed invitations directly from my inbox unto my calendar, strike up follow-up conversations with email contacts in Google Chat, or save email file attachments directly to my Google Drive, etc.

Cons

On mobile devices, the newest update makes it a bit more difficult to easily detect unopened emails from opened ones. The font bolding is a bit less profound now and can present a challenge to the visually challenged.

Gmail

Reviewed 3 years ago

I have been using Gmail from quite a lot of time and love it for the features and functionalities that it offers beyond sending and receiving emails.

Pros

Gmail is the most popular and widely used email service now days. It provides its users with a lot of storage space to save emails and attachments. Sending and receiving email is very easy in it. It has dedicated mobile apps for ios and android and have two versions for web users, standard and basic web version. The basic web version is very simple and is intended for users with slow internet connectivity. Gmail account is also used to integrate a lot of google services like drive, maps, youtube etc thus making it more of necessity rather than just an email client and integrate all your data from these software at on place. It has a very good spam blocker which never lets a spam to slips past it to your inbox.

Cons

I personally do not see any shortcomings in gmail as it always keep getting better and better with time.

Gmail is the best and excellent way of communicating via email

Reviewed 3 years ago

I’ve been using this software for the past 7-8 years and throughout my experience I don’t like this software I love it

Pros

It is beginner friendly and mainly Gmail is my personal favorite email management software because of its loyalty and also it is very it use and can be found in many forms and version for example, the application is friendly with both my android phone and android Tablet and also the software is compatible with my windows 10 Toshiba portage laptop and the way that it distinguish social media’s subscription mail, personal mail, promotion mail and etc.

Cons

There is not a single thing that I like least about Gmail but I believe that it can improve for example the spam feature is very good but it can be excellent and also sometimes it sends the promotion mail to spam and it must be corrected

Gmail is great for both personal and business

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, gmail has been my favorite mail tool of the past decade. iIt integrates with nearly Everything, is part of the google family of products and has some pretty amazing filtering and anti-spam capabilities.

Pros

gmail is THE standard email service for anyone who does not want to be tied to Microsoft / Office365. it integrates with nearly everything, and provides amazing integrations - app script, 3rd party tools, google workspace

Cons

My least favorite item with respect to gmail is the sheer number of forums / threads that come up when you try to search for support, most of which have no solution but an "i fixed it, nevermind!". The google documentation and troubleshooting can often be overly vague when trying to do complex tasks.

Best email service without downloading an email client

Reviewed 2 years ago

Excellent. I've been going Gmail strong for over 15 years now.

Pros

Gmail's search function is what keeps me coming back. Outlook's search function is terrible. I love that I can also have multiple Gmail email addresses and have the email forwarded from them to the main one I use. This is helpful when subcontracting and I get assigned a company email. I have a subcontractor Outlook account that is a pain to use. I also use the labels and email filters which are super helpful. I can't stand that Outlook puts emails in a different subfolder b/c I forget to check it and miss emails. But Gmail keeps it in the inbox and applies the label to it. Gmail also has a free scheduling tool called Koalendar that is just like Calendly but better.

Cons

I don't like the ads for personal gmail or the privacy concerns. For business gmail, I don't have any ads and that's helpful. It doesn't integrate with Google meeting as well as I'd like (and Google Meeting isn't that great). I no longer use the chat function, but I used to about 10 years ago.

One Feature Makes Gmail Essential as a Small/Startup Business

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, Gmail has accomplished everything I would expect an email program to do. The automated alerts about potentially-missed emails is what I think makes it the best option, and it's the reason I would recommend Gmail to other small/startup businesses to manage their email. It might not seem like a required feature at first, but as more and more emails come in, the prompt about having possibly failed to respond to one is essential.

Pros

Gmail is much like any other email program available. It allows free accounts, so the cost makes it a great option. If you want to spend a few bucks each month, you get email management that is tied to your own domain. This was great for me as I started my own law practice because it provided a professional email without having a website/hosting setup yet. The one feature that would make me recommend Gmail over other programs is the automated notifications that inform me about emails I may need to respond to. Gmail is the first that I have seen to implement something like this, or at least to implement it in a way that didn't require me to set anything up. I read an email. I either don't respond or begin drafting a response that I don't send. Two days later, Gmail is asking me whether I intend to respond to that email. The best part is that this doesn't happen with the marketing/update emails that I've signed up to receive, like notification emails and such. Gmail seems to be able to distinguish, maybe based on the content/subject of the email-- I don't know? But it works great, and because it's been so helpful to avoid missing an email, I now prefer Gmail to other email providers.

Cons

I think the contact management can be improved. The only other problem I've had with Gmail has been with sorting incoming messages. I may have become too used to desktop applications that I would create "rules" in to instruct the program what to do with emails having a particular word in the subject or from a particular sender. I tried to organize my inbox a bit better in Gmail, and either I couldn't figure out how to make it do what I wanted, or it isn't possible. I'm not sure which it is. In any case, it was taking too much time, and it was easier to just "select all" and "mark as read."

Reason you should get gmail today.

Reviewed 2 years ago

I love the effectiveness and recovery process.

Pros

I like that it filters my emails which makes it easy to find under a different section. I can have a section for my regular daily communication and what I need to be organized separately. When it comes to the spam block is great because it blocks some of my unwanted emails. it makes it easy to find any important emails. Getting it to instal is very easy and can be used on any mobile device. I love that I do not need to save contacts on my phone. I use my email be it makes it easier for me and I can log in to any device and get my contact from my Gmail. Getting alerts makes it easy for me I do not need to go into my email to check every single time. I have it on my notification so as soon as an email comes I am ready to check it. What is also amazing about Gmail is that you can use it to gather reports and put them in an excel sheet or anywhere you want. I like that email monitoring helps me make better decisions as well.

Cons

Even though spam can be used fully I do not like that some of my emails go into the spam when I am waiting to get a specific email.

Gmail is a tremendous tool for email management

Reviewed 3 years ago

It's a fabulous journey of my profession that I am enjoying with Gmail's exceptional services. It's a wonderful experience to be a part of this astonishing software, making my professional career more contented. I recommend this software to everyone.

Pros

I have been using Gmail for more than five years, and it's a matter of satisfaction for me to review this amazing tool, which always made email management easier for me. Moreover, its integration with other Microsoft tools is awesome, which makes my time management too easy. There is no need to have a hard copy backup for my official emails, as Gmail provides this facility to create folders to classify your incoming emails. Its management is easy and user-friendly. It's a complete package of essential features, which everyone requires for official interaction. Moreover, Gmail has a very comprehensive user guideline procedure that enables users to sort out the issues they don't understand. It works fast and does not slow down your device's speed. It's a better decision to have a Gmail account for individual and official commitments.

Cons

Getting too many promotional emails and advertisement is annoying for me as it always divert my attention away from my office commitments. I am happy with the rest of all Gmail features.

Gmail....for a thought.

Reviewed 4 years ago

I can appreciate the effort that they're putting forth of weeding out spam because a lot of it is so ridiculously out of control now these days my spam account is so full of just random crazy things and if I had to go through my mail and weed out these things it I would be a crazy person. So my experience with Gmail is fabulous we've grown together adapted together and I've tried other email software and I just never took to any of them like I did Gmail

Pros

So, for what I use Gmail for makes it a perfect fit....for me. I say it's simple, clean and up to date. But maybe that's because I have evolved with Gmail and it's ever changing ways for quite some years now.

Cons

This is always such a hard part for me to fill in. Especially when the software in your own eyes truly really has no big falls certainly not any big enough to call something I hate. something that I really kind of dislike about it is maybe in the beginning it did not express to me how important it is to set up an automatic delete I can't tell you I have thousands and thousands and hundreds of thousands of emails on my Gmail account with them all combined together there's no telling how many of unread emails. Nobody's fault but my own nonetheless when is enough enough I guess.

Gmail reviews and product details

Reviewed 9 months ago

Gmail is a cloud-based arrangement that assists organizations with smoothing out correspondence across the association using messages. It empowers experts to sort inbox messages into different classes and spot messages into new tabs utilizing a simplified connection point. Utilizing Gmail's classified mode, organizations can set a termination date for messages and secure data by forestalling unapproved access. Supervisors can make customized represents workers and view the timetable of impending gatherings on an in-fabricated schedule. Moreover, it offers versatile applications for iOS and Android gadgets, which allows clients to deal with various records and get mechanized warnings regarding new messages. Gmail accompanies an application programming point of interaction (Programming interface), which permits associations to alter the framework and incorporate it with different outsider frameworks. The item is accessible free of charge and backing is broadened through documentation.

Pros

I have extraordinary involvement in that arrangement, I prescribed to utilize this arrangement because it's safe and liberated from cost. Brilliant generally, keeps me coordinated, and the capacity to make envelopes for messages is perfect for arranging business records. The simplicity of exchanging among screens and the auto save highlight is a lifeline. Gmail's convenience is awesome for all.

Cons

There is additionally no client service for Gmail so on the off chance that you have a blunder or issue you are on your own which can disappoint on occasion. Can without much of a stretch be hacked on the off chance that your telephone or PC is lost. Difficult to recuperate whenever failed to remember the secret key. I despise how it channels messages into spam at times. I need to screen spam sometimes to ensure I missed no significant messages.

It's easily accessible

Reviewed 9 months ago

I switched from spending money on email marketing and management tools because Gmail provides all these solutions at extremely affordable rates.

Pros

I prefer Gmail to most email management software because it's way more easy to connect to it. I mean, It's everywhere on smartphones and besides, I'm used to working with it already - anywhere, anytime I can simply tap the multi-colored M-icon on my smartphone, and (voila), I'm in my inbox. All I'm trying to say is that it's stressful for me to jump every time onto Chrome, typing a URL to connect to other email management software. Another aspect of Gmail that amazes me it's the fact that I can potentially route all incoming emails from an external email management software and even respond to them using my Gmail address and yet, the receiver won't even notice that it was sent from a Gmail address. - It's always uptime, 100% up and running. Additionally, It provides possibilities to set up automated mail responses and perform more email automation actions like labeling, sorting, saving, deleting, etc. Most importantly, It provides a lot of security measures to prevent account hacking, data phishing, or malicious attacks like 2FA, 6-digit Backup codes, and a few more which are enough to completely keep my files safe. For a free tool, I think it's simply amazing.

Cons

Since 2021(as per my remarks), Google started to run ads in Gmail, well, they're not overwhelming, however, they could potentially be risky in case, hackers decide to pass through Google ads to lay hands on user accounts. At this point, I don't Google itself will be aware since on the internet today, everyone can be a business.

Gmail wins everytime when it comes to email management.

Reviewed 9 months ago

Gmail is an excellent user-friendly tool with numerous email organization options that connect well with other Google apps. While it is free, it can also host accounts with custom domains for a cost.

Pros

Amazing UI ,unlike its competitors, Gmail has a fairly "clean" design with a variety of themes. I like the option to label my emails and then easily find them, something other email management solutions do not provide. I also enjoy how we can establish areas for working and communicating together. It is also a tremendous advantage to having a hub of other products at our disposal, such as the entire Google Suite. Documents, contacts, and common folders may be simply linked, tagged, and maintained.

Cons

The one thing I don't like is that when I issue calendar invites, I get responses in my primary inbox. Even if I alter the label to anything else, Gmail does not learn or remember. I have to do that everytime.

Reseña Gmail

Reviewed 9 months ago

Gmail is the first platform from my point of view for email service

Reviewed 9 months ago
Pros

My first experience was with Yahoo, but after a period of time I lost the account information and lost access to it. I started trying several platforms, but the best one was gmail. For more than eight years, I have been using it and did not need to use other platforms. Its many features and the simplified interface did not force me to use another platform as The Google Meet service that it provides is very useful and easy to use, as I use it frequently and periodically, and archiving, scheduling, and many other features have made it easier for us to deal daily with teammates, clients, and platforms.

Cons

It is a semi-integrated platform and does not lack a few additions and improvements to become the first platform in the world, such as facilitating the synchronization process with third parties.

In my opinion, Gmail is the best tool that everyone should try

My experience with Gmail was and still is the best and I do not expect myself to be with another platform

Pros

At the beginning of using email, I was working on the Hotmail and Yahoo platforms, but when I got to know Gmail and started using it, things seemed easier. It has a simple interface that anyone can deal with. Also, the Google Meet service is very wonderful and easy to use. I enjoy the audio and video meetings that I conduct with my colleagues. In working through it The cloud archiving feature it provides is also very useful for preserving information and reviewing it later It also has many features, such as scheduling, Google Drive calendar, and many others. Most of its features are free and available to everyone, and you can use more than one account on it at the same time, or one account for all the platforms you work on.

Cons

Despite its countless answers, there are some points that we must consider, such as the problem of synchronization with third parties or messages getting lost in spam.

GMAIL is great for work-management

Reviewed 9 months ago
Pros

Gmail is great for multi-account management, although it comes at a moderate cost, its redirection capabilities are great for spam and inbox control. Its ease of use and administration panel for enterprises come in handy when handing email clients to company employees.

Cons

Gmail for enterprise would greatly benefit in a price reduction or freemium alternative for enterprises, reducing costs could greatly increment the user base and startup rate of adoption.
