What is Square Invoices?
Square Invoices is a cloud-based invoice generation solution which allows sellers to create, send, and track customizable invoices for free, and process customer debit and credit card payments. The platform can be used by any merchant needing to accept remote payments, including retailers with wholesale, service-based business, and restaurants offering catering services.
With Square Invoices, users can select items to create invoices without needing to manually enter or recheck cost amounts. Invoices can be sent directly to customers via email, and users can also print paper copies as required. Users can customize invoices with company logos, color schemes, and default ‘thank you’ messages or terms or service. Customers can pay invoices in person, by check, or online using their debit or credit card, and are not charged any fees for making payments. Customer card details can be stored securely on file to streamline the payment process for future invoices. From the Square dashboard, users can track the status of all sent invoices, and send payment reminders for unpaid or overdue invoices. Payment analytics also give users insight into how their business is performing.
