Pleisty is a web-based eCommerce marketing automation tool powered by artificial intelligence (AI), which automates email marketing campaigns and generates personalized, context-aware product recommendations for customers.

Pleisty automatically surfaces personalized shopping guidance and product recommendations to shoppers based on their behavior or purchases. User journeys are tracked and timestamped, including email opens, clicks, products views (with the number of times they were viewed), items added to the shopping cart, and any items bought. Collective intelligence is used to recommend products, such as displaying products bought by other shoppers who purchased items currently in the shopping cart, or alternative products on the page for any item which is out-of-stock. Custom landing pages can be created for different campaigns, and personalized ads or behaviorally-targeted banners displayed to shoppers on the store’s homepage and category pages.

Pleisty also automates email marketing and newsletters, with dynamic messages, personalized subject lines, and tailored recommendations included within the emails. Custom welcome emails can be sent out to new customers with personalized shopping ideas, and special occasions can be marked with personalized messages and individual product recommendations. Automated follow-up emails are sent after a shopper completes the purchase process to deliver complementary item ideas or special offers, and to shoppers who abandoned their carts before checkout was complete to simplify the process of finalizing their abandoned transaction. Price change notifications can be delivered to shoppers who have shown an interest in a specific item, and shoppers who have purchased consumables can be automatically reminded to repurchase.
