Eleo is an easy to use system that allows me to track and monitor my donors. When I have needed help, the support I have gotten through email and phone has been quick and effective. I highly recommend eleo!
Eleo makes sense. I run a small non-profit, with no special fundraising staff, and the Eleo software ease-of-use makes it extremely valuable to me. I don't have the time needed to become an expert on the huge platforms, and eleo can do just about everything that I need.
The only issue I have had is with combining multiple gifts from a single donor for a letter. I need to have the gifts listed separately, but I don't think eleo does that.

As a smaller non-profit, we needed a CRM that was user-friendly and did not require a degree in computer science. The software program we moved from started making decisions about software and more importantly payment processing systems that simply did not work for our smaller organization. Even though we had to make a transition to ELEO, it has been very beneficial due to the simplicity of the software and the support included.
As a smaller nonprofit, we moved from a more expensive CRM to ELEO, which has saved our foundation a significant amount of money over the past few years. Despite being less expensive than our former CRM, all of our needs have been met and the software is easy to use. One area that is most impressive is the responsiveness of the support team. ELEO helped us with our transition that went very smoothly, and they continue to offer prompt and helpful solutions to any questions we may have. We are very happy with our decision to move to ELEO!
I would like to be able to copy event forms from year to year, but I have been told that is a new feature they are working on.

Customer service is excellent. They are very responsive to questions and provide answers.
There are not clear definition documentation regarding "all" fields when importing data. This information is very important when customizing the software to a particular organization.

For twenty years our organization got by with incomplete spreadsheets and scattered files before finally moving all of our donor records to Eleo. Even tiny organizations need Eleo! We can now track trends in giving. We can send email and personalized printed letters with ease. Our tech-adverse founders now see the value of a donor management system, and Eleo was the user-friendly vehicle that took them there. Eleo's customer service is the key: our questions and concerns are answered almost immediately through a personal email or phone call. We definitely recommend Eleo!
As a very small local nonprofit, we needed donor management software that was easy for 1-2 people to administer. We needed something efficient and easy to learn at an affordable price. Eleo was the answer. The stellar customer service and training is personal and fast. Database entry is intuitive and data is easy to manage. We especially like the customizable webforms (contact, donation) that easily integrate into the databases. We seamlessly correlated our Braintree and MailChimp accounts with Eleo. Eleo is perfect for tiny organizations like ours. We have a robust management system with a price we can afford.
There is one feature I hope Eleo will be able to add someday. I would like to be able to create videoclips to send to donors through Eleo. Just the ability to upload videoclips to Eleo would be a nice feature.

Overall, I think this is a great solution for the price. There are a great deal of user-friendly features to this platform, and they are willing to consider customer feedback for continued growth.
I come from a Raiser's Edge background and that was definitely not affordable for the company I am with now. This software is easy to use, and has *most* of the features I need. The integration with online giving and event registration pages is good, though a bit awkward to process. Many of the features are great, including the functionality of sending acknowledgements, receipts, tracking donor information, and allowing for customization of campaigns. Integration of online giving with Braintree has been complicated and credit card scammers have been able to make successful transactions. Eleo is looking at building in a reCaptcha. Customer support has been fantastic, and they are very willing to hear ideas for improvement.
I miss the query and reporting of Raiser's Edge. There is the ability to build customized reports, but they do not format in the nice, presentable formats of their regular reports. Mailing list-building is awkward.

Eleo helps us look better to our donors because we are doing a better job of donor relations. It has helped increase the amount we received from our current donor base.
We chose eleo because of its ability to keep track of couples with different last names. It keeps track of both informal and formal salutations, so our communications can be personalized appropriately. Best of all, the customer support staff at eleo truly wants us to be successful. They are very knowable, patient, and friendly.
Getting the mail merge working proved a challenge. Once the right settings were in place, the process has become fast and easy.

This product is super easy to use, even for coworkers for are not tech savy. If you ever had a question, their customer service team responds super quickly to assist with whatever you need.
There are a few negatives and kinks to the program. The first is that not all fields are able to be customized which makes it a little tricky trying to navigate it to fit the needs of your organization. I have encountered a few kinks in the program and mentioned it to their team and within a few weeks the kinks were fixed (i.e. not being able to soft credit a pledge payment or link a pledge payment to an event).

Eleo fits our small (4 employee) non profit perfectly. As we began to grow our donor base, we realized we needed more that a spreadsheet but all of the other databases were overwhelming. None of the other ones we researched fit our budget or seemed like a reasonable way to scale our organization. Eleo has given us a way to collaborate, track donors, create events, and manage communications. Eleo has allowed us to grow as a team, as an organization, and in our mission.
Our team has felt overwhelmed at times with all of the options that we don't understand. However, the customer service and trainings are incredibly helpful!

Overall, it has been a great experience. Any questions or confusion I have, there are great resources available, still confused - call your support team and they will help you. I love the integration with Stripe and Constant Contact, and Canva. Online forms for donations and registrations are easy to streamline everything.
ELEO incorporates multiple areas of non-profit management. From how information is input, reports that can be pulled, integrating with online donation, email marketing, and event management. The customer service is amazing, as are the resources to learn how to utilize the software effectively.
I am not able to add a signature file to the letter template.

I'm new to donor management software and using Eleo is helping me to think through how I can make best use of the platform. The staff, support team, and trainers with Eleo are very good, excellent.
Eleo is attractive for a small nonprofit that I run. The system was easy to set up and the interface is intuitive. I've been using it mostly for event management. I like the simple integration with MailChimp. The training, support, and online resources are outstanding.
I would like to see a capability added to copy event registration forms.

The support team at Eleo is the best in the business and this is a main reason why I recommend the software. It is not as graphically advanced as some other software but it provides exactly what I need and if I can't figure something out someone is ALWAYS available to assist me. This is the number one reason I trust and recommend Eleo!
Eleo is exactly what I need to build out the development program for our NPO. The features available are in line with more expensive software and provide the same results.
Event registration continues to improve and their web form is on the schedule for a major upgrade so these two pain points are on the way to being remedied. The team at Eleo listens to client feedback and make real improvements based on our input.

Eleo is as beneficial to me as any database system that I've used in the past at much larger organizations. It satisfies the donor information needs and offers the ability to retrieve, update donor information, and follow-up with donors through various appeals, letters, newsletters, or other communications with great ease.
I've worked with large foundations that were established decades ago and have thousands of donors. These institutions have donor database software systems that are outstanding. Moving to a much smaller but equally worthwhile foundation less than three years ago, I met with Eleo representatives and found them to offer a high quality system that equaled my experience at larger institutions. The ease of learning and using this system, the costs for this product, and the utility of this database system are all outstanding. In addition, their personal support of any questions or needs that arise is also outstanding!
That Eleo Online wasn't established earlier! The Amy Foundation was established 11 years ago and all donors records were kept on excel spreadsheets, all of which was accurately incorporated with exceptional ease into the Eleo system.

This software is fully functional, with all modules included in the price. No having to pay for adding in a volunteer module, and events module, a grants module, etc. It's cloud-based, and there is no limit to the users. The support from ELEO us absolutely SUPERB! Call, get a person, get an answer. They don't charge you extra for it. They provide lots of training videos and documents as well as offer one-on-one trainings by request... none of which they charge for. They also didn't charge for the initial import/transfer of my data from our old software. Couldn't be happier. This is an amazing piece of software, especially for the price.
I'm still relatively new to this product, so any 'trouble' I'm having may very well be yet my own lack of understanding on how to do something. I do wish it switched from one screen to the next more quickly, though. Minor issue when compared to all the positives.

Easy to use for entry and it is organized in a way that makes sense. We have donors and members. We can easily see where each stands and process new members and renewals. Easy to create letters and integrate for email communication. Provides lots of reports and each report can be filtered for what one needs. Customer support is friendly and efficient.
The software does what it is suppose to. It would be nice if I could have a software at this price that included my website, email, accounting system but I know that is not realistic.

Our donor retention has increased. very quick process to send donor acknowledgements.
The software is intuitive, not a huge learning curve which is a plus. The best thing about ELEO is that I can call support and speak to a live person.
We would like to integrate with our desktop QuickBooks program.

We were previously using an Excel sheet to track thousands of donors *cringe*. Unfortunately, most donor databases were way out of our non-profit budget. Eleo is not only affordable, but was incredibly user friendly and quick to learn. On top of that, the customer service is fantastic. I receive a check-in email from one of the staff on a regular basis and if I have questions, she promptly provides an answer!
The reasonable cost (especially compared to other databases) and ease of use/quick learning curve.
It would be nice if we could use the internal thank you feature by uploading our logo and customizing. However, we are still able to do this with a mail merge, so it's not a huge loss.

Eleo has been a very good choice for our non-profit. Once the information base was in the system, it has proven to be an efficient and time-saving way of tracking our gifts to this organization.
Eleo is easy to use and has all the information so easily accessable. The thing I like most about this software is the availability of the information for each contributor. I glean information from the contact info as I record the current gift. This saves me time and makes the statistics more accurate.
The only thing I wish was a bit different, is that I wish we could add a couple of specific information tidbits to each contributor's gift (I.e. who the gift is in memory of). We have found ways to make this work, but it is a little more cumbersome.

I love using this software from Entering the information which is very easy to do and it flows really nicely and is extremely easy to use. The software allows me to access the information I need. It's designed in a logical way. The layout is great in that I don't have to guess where things are that I need to have access to. I also don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to do things. I love that you can access the system via the Internet and the tutorials are easy to follow and learn!
Lack of custom signature for letters and recurring donations are tricky and have to be manually processed.

When I was hired, our non-profit's records were scattered. Our organization has been run for years on heart and a desire to do good. We were in desperate need to improve our professionalism. Eleo was heaven sent. My job was to make consolidate all of the donor records and the donations from the last five years. Thanks to Eleo's inexpensive software, we have all our donor, volunteer, staff and board information in one place. The report function makes it easy to share information with board members or staff who are not tech savvy. We are still working on making our organization more professional, but we know we have our donor information safely organized because of Eleo.
Eleo is extremely user friendly. Entering donor information is intuitive and easy. Every time I find a new use for Eleo, it is very easy for me to figure out the process.
There is not a lot that I haven't liked. There are a few times that I wished there was a video in the library while learning a new function, but the downloadable written instructions were enough.

Organization of donors into one area and consistency in coding has been extremely helpful to our organization, however we have chosen for one person to enter data. The process of donor recognition/thanks has been greatly simplified for us by using Eleo.
In working in Eleo, the system is extremely slow to load. We have not yet utilized all aspects of Eleo such as volunteer management and the calendar, and question whether that is the most effective way to manage for our organization.

I highly recommend Eleo for their staff, software and overall experience. As a growing non profit new to donor management software, this was just the company and software I needed to get me started (and to keep me moving forward). The staff at Eleo are not only incredibly helpful and responsive, they're also concerned about the overall well being of your organization. They'll adapt to your needs as on organization and ensure your success with their software. Can't recommend enough.
I haven't found any cons and if there were, I know the staff at Eleo would help me through it.

Using Eleo has been a very positive experience for our organization and for me personally. The support means that I never feel like I'm alone in trying to figure everything out.
The best part of Eleo is the customer service. A person answers the phone every time you call! They answer any questions or resolve any problems within a very short amount of time.
