Storepoint overview

What is Storepoint?

Storepoint is an embeddable store locator widget that adds location search, filtering, and mapping to any website. One code snippet integrates with Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, BigCommerce, HubSpot, Framer, Drupal, Joomla, and any custom-built site. The widget is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Visitors search by city, zip code, postcode, neighborhood, region, or keyword. Autocomplete suggests results as the visitor types. GPS geolocation detects the visitor's position and surfaces nearest locations on page load. Results sort by distance in kilometers or miles, adapting automatically by region. Visitors filter results by product, service, category, or any tag structure you define. Each listing displays configurable custom fields, action buttons, booking links, phone numbers, opening hours with live open/closed status, location images, and one-tap directions via Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.

Location data is managed through three channels. The dashboard supports manual CRUD operations with changes published instantly. CSV and Excel import uses smart column detection with saved field mappings for repeatable bulk updates. Google Sheets sync connects a live spreadsheet to the locator with configurable sync intervals down to every 5 minutes on the Business plan. Geocoding handles address resolution automatically, or you can supply latitude and longitude coordinates directly. Duplicate detection identifies and merges matching records during import.

The widget renders with your brand fonts, colors, and layout. Custom map markers accept uploaded images, per-tag marker differentiation, and pin color configuration. Map rendering supports Google Maps and Mapbox with preset themes (light, dark, satellite, outdoors) or fully custom styling. A built-in CSS editor and CSS variable system provide complete visual control. The Storepoint team configures brand styling on every plan at no additional cost.

Tags and filters support multiple group structures. Each tag accepts a color value and an image (product photos, service icons). Tags group into named filter sets that display as dropdown or visual selectors. Pre-filtered embed codes allow different pages of your site to display subsets of locations by tag, product, or location type from a single account.

Analytics track search volume, popular locations, geographic demand patterns, and coverage gaps. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager event integration is available on Pro and Business plans. The Business plan adds exportable custom reports.

Localization supports full label translation for any language, automatic locale detection, and manual language override via embed parameters. Distance units adapt by region.

Business plan features include territory assignment, service area and catchment area mapping, Spotlight (conditional messaging, promotions, and contact forms triggered by location, distance, or date), white-label branding, user roles with granular permissions, location edit history, and JSON API endpoint sync.

Three APIs ship on all plans. The REST API handles location CRUD from external systems. The Query API returns proximity-sorted results for custom front-end applications. The JavaScript API provides runtime control with event listeners for searches, clicks, and map interactions.

Starter: $25/month, up to 200 locations, 2 users. Pro: $49/month, up to 2,000 locations, 5 users. Business: $99/month, up to 10,000 locations, 20 users. All plans include a 7-day free trial. Annual billing saves one month per year.

Key benefits of using Storepoint

  • Embed on any platform with a single code snippet. Storepoint integrates with Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, BigCommerce, HubSpot, Framer, Drupal, Joomla, and any custom-built website. One embed, fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

  • Search and geolocation built in. Visitors search by city, zip code, postcode, keyword, or region with autocomplete suggestions. Nearest locations surface on page load. Results sort by distance with automatic km/miles adaptation by region. One-tap directions open Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.

  • Flexible location management from three data channels. Add locations from the dashboard, bulk import via CSV or Excel with saved column mappings, or sync a Google Sheet with intervals as frequent as every 5 minutes. Automatic geocoding, duplicate detection, and merge-on-import keep data clean across updates.

  • Full visual control over brand and map rendering. Set brand colors, fonts, and layout from the dashboard or write custom CSS. Upload custom map markers per location type or tag. Choose from Google Maps or Mapbox with preset or custom map themes. The Storepoint team handles brand styling configuration on every plan.

  • Multi-group tag and filter architecture. Create tag groups for products, services, location types, or any business taxonomy. Assign colors and images to each tag. Tags render as visual filters visitors use to narrow results. Pre-filtered embed codes serve different location subsets on different pages from a single account.

  • Analytics and event tracking for search intelligence. Monitor search volume, geographic demand, popular locations, and coverage gaps. Integrate with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on Pro and Business plans. Export custom reports on Business.

  • Three APIs on every plan for developer integration. The REST API manages location data from external systems. The Query API returns proximity-sorted results for custom applications. The JavaScript API controls the widget at runtime with event listeners for searches, clicks, and interactions.

  • Territory and service area management on Business. Draw service boundaries, assign dealer zones, define catchment areas, and configure Spotlight rules to display promotions, messages, or contact forms based on visitor location, distance, or date conditions.
