The biggest problem is that they oversold and under delivered. They told me that all my current printers would work with their requirements.

We never used hey second of their service and still they stole our money. High pressure criminals who will do ANYTHING to get your money.

I like using TouchBistro because is easy to use and has  a lot of helpful tools. The customer service is great and every time I have a technical issue is resolved quickly.

The POS itself is super super easy to figure out , it was getting all the equipment and setting up the wireless that I struggled with. Get help where you need it most.

The most useful tool for me is reporting. The ease of adding removing and repricing is also a favourite.

I purchased an extra piece of equipment and returned it for my money back but it got lost on their end and I ended up being out several hundred dollars and no follow up after many attempts.

Shady, unworkable, zero customer service, fraudulent with extremely shifty people there.

It takes weeks to hear back by email and hours to connect on the support line. This is all before even attempting to trouble shoot your issues.

Overall experience of this software is very positive. I have years of data saved conveniently and the everyday use of visiual and set up is a breeze.

During one painful update, the system stopped communicating our visa terminals altogether.

Intuitive layout makes training very easy. With more integration with payment processors,accounting programs and cloud reporting being introduced with each update, the product keeps improving.

For at least half the transactions of the day, you have to send the info to the machine twice bc it automatically craps out an error on you.

I also think their customer service is great. We have a direct email contact and Monday through Friday you can logon to their website and chat with an associate.

It's really fun when a pos- pos update makes your visa service go out for an entire day. This company is in way to far over their heads.

The TouchBistro POS has an incredible, easy to use interface. It allows you to categorize and organize items.

Squirrel POS

This is the first POS system that we had where we have nothing but problems. They do not listen to customer feedback, and I would not want to recommend this POS system to anyone. I was contracted with them for one year and when I called to cancel, they told me that the canceled is automatically renewed and I have to pay additional charges for cancellation. I agreed to pay the amount because I do not want to deal with them in the future.

If you need coatomer service, go somewhere else, the worst I`ve ever encountered. Purchased KDS to help me with online orders. Everything worked fine with exception of online ordering. When I placed test order, it showed up in a flash. Unfortunately it said >menu item deleted> Showed up correctly on pos, printed correctly, but on KDS, received deleted item message. Youd think easy fix, contacted support. Spent hours on [hone, they couldnt figure it out. That was a month ago, every tine I called, they say they`re working on it. Have 2 onboarding clowns [sensitive content hidden], reached out, they told me they`re working on it. Subsequent text n email were ignored by these 2 professionals, basically ghosted me. This was a month ago/ My salesman gave me email to a mgr, emailed him. u guessed it still waiting. Today contacted support, to add an item to modifier group, on hold for 20 mis, then disconnected/ Run, dont walk away. Of course they`re charging monthly for online ordering.

Don`t walk away. rub away.

After the devastating problem 2 years ago, I have hated TB ever since.  Not to mention it has consistently gotten slower and slower.  I just had to upgrade my wifi router for the 3rd time in 8 years (upgraded today in fact), going from Apple Airport, to Amplify, and now Cisco; we'll see if things are better now.

This has been the single most frustrating, stressful and painful process in 40 years in the restaurant business.  Customer support is absolutely terrible after you pay them.  I have 300 emails with them about issues, and just today the same problem occurred today.  More bugs than a picnic on a trashpile.

Do not even consider if you have more than one location.

I first started using it at a restaurant during 2019. I was so impressed by this product that I started using it at my current restaurant too. Few problems here and there but this time it has been 7 days and they haven't been able to fix my issue.

This software has steadily gone done hill in the last 3 years.  Tech support is horrible, unless you get a mid-level person who knows something.  The movement to everything being cloud-based sounds great, but makes daily server reporting tedious and time consuming.  HORRIBLE.  If i didn't have so much money invested in equipment between multiple restaurants, i would change.  If you're new and considering purchasing TouchBistro....DON'T!  Look elsewhere!

I wouldn't recommend this group, since their overall customer service has been nothing short of the worst I've seen in the industry. I've worked with Square, Toast and this group.

The customer service is poor, it seems that everyone is running from the problems due to lack of knowledge, no-one is being held responsible. You get emails days later apologizing for inconvenience but nothing after that. I used this system for over a month until I realized that the cc swipes were not being credited to my account. Thousands of dollars lost, being a small business I was late to notice due to managing multiple positions. However, its been 2 weeks and still no leads on how to rectify the situation. Ive had to stop using the system and use another POS so business can continue. However, the absence of this money has been strenuous on my business, with not an answer in site. My reps were [SENSITIVE CONTENT] both have ignored my calls and emails or mailing back to say I cannot help with this problem. Such a disappointment, much different from our initial conversation.

Definitely a scam I would not suggest this to anyone it’s a waste of money any other company like square or light speed pos is way cheaper and have had much more success save your money use a different company.

Though our onboarding team is remote we do pride ourselves on setting up our customers' tech to fit their business' needs right the first time. We'd love the chance to make things right! Their tech support is a joke, it takes all day to get a hold of someone, unless of course they have just rolled out an update that is writhe with errors, then it may take as much as two days to get through to their support. It's really fun when a pos- pos update makes your visa service go out for an entire day. This company is in way to far over their heads. The system is not reliable and neither is their tech support. I just called and 24/7 tech support means someone who knows NOTHING answers the phone and tells you to call back the next day or go on your tablet and submit X to data support team tomorrow. You must have gotten paid for this review. You obviously have not experienced the product first hand!!! 

The worst part is my complaints and problems got escalated to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] told me he would work to get me out of this system and out of  my 2 year visa contract with Chase. I started talking to him in January and he has now ghosted me. No contact, no follow through. It's going to the lawyers now. 

A Big Steaming Pile o'POS!!

Again, TouchBistro has a legit inventory tracking system, you just have to set aside a few hours a day for a few weeks to make it worth it. Also, I have enjoyed simple things like the images I can add to each menu item. It seems silly but in the bar industry we know there are hundreds of tequilas, so when I have a new bartender and a customer orders Don Julio 1942-when my bartender goes to the menu, they can see exactly what the bottle looks like and know what to look for!

This is our day-to-day workhorse software to run our retail store and bottle shop at our brewery. Could not live without it. Internet outages make everyone panic now!

This is one of the most arrogant company's I've ever encountered.  All along they've been treating me like they're doing me a favor and I'm bloody fortunate to pay them every month for a service that has now cost me in the thousands over the purchased hardware and rented software thousands.

Soon as possible, I'm off to another provider -- one that actually answers the phone before I have to shave again.

Worst customer support - EVER

When I first saw TouchBistro POS sponsoring restaurants on a Gordon Ramsey television show, I thought if he recommended it maybe we needed it as well. I am not at all disappointed by this decision I have made. Traditional tickets are out the door now thanks to this lovely system. You've made our business run smoother, which means more happy customers.

Kyle W.:                                               Hello there. My name is Kyle. I'm a videographer in the manufacturing industry and I give TouchBistro POS a four out of five.
                                                       Before we went with the TouchBistro POS, we were initially using pad and paper as well as we were considering Square, but we ultimately moved to TouchBistro POS.
                                                       So we ultimately decided to go with TouchBistro POS first off, because they gave us a very convincing demo. They showed us how to maximize our profits with analytics with slow times and fast times of the restaurant industry. Also, they have a loyalty program that we can set up with our returning customers. We feel like our customers are very important to us, and obviously we like when they return, we want to reward that kind of commitment to our restaurant.
                                                       So when it comes to the integration of the TouchBistro POS, it was very easy to set up with an iPad and a wifi connection. We were able to kind of set everything up within about an hour or two to make sure that we have all of our menu items on there, our loyalty program, getting our analytics set up for us to look in the back end after everyone's gone, obviously. It took a little bit for everyone to be on board with it because obviously it's a new system, they have new ways of doing things. With the younger crowd it was much easier than the older crowd. The older crowd really likes the pad and paper, but after showing them how easy it was to use this POS system, they were completely sold.
                                                       I recommend if anyone is looking or interested in the TouchBistro POS, the first thing you should do is book a live demo to see how TouchBistro can work within your restaurant, your industry, and your lifestyle around your company. I also recommend reading a lot of their success stories, there's a lot of people who use the analytics of all of their purchases and items to be able to shop more efficiently and have deals with their loyalty programs, which ultimately help maximize their profits.
