Alleva makes life easier for clinicians by providing a user-friendly, cloud-based EMR system designed specifically for the needs of behavioral health centers. With Alleva, tasks are streamlined, and features like reporting and compliance are automated. As a result, clinicians have more time to spend with the people in their care. Alleva utilizes Zoom technology to help clinicians stay in contact with their clients who are unable to attend in-person sessions and people who prefer remote treatment. Pros
They are very helpful and responsive, and they guide you through the setup process step by step. They also provide training sessions and webinars to help you learn how to use the product effectively.
Alleva works great with customers to help them get the most out of the software and are always listening and helping to make upgrades and modifications.
The integration with other tools has also been seamless, and the support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we've needed them.
Cons
As a business we are still struggling to use the software but it’s more on user error not software error.
The inability for the scheduler to connect to an outside calendar such as Outlook creates a tremendous amount of extra work and communication problems with staff around scheduling.
Lastly, the reporting function - or the inability to customize reports based on specific criteria can be confounding.

The best EMR/EHR

Excellence! Great customer service, great support team, User friendly. I've worked with 3 other EMR/EHR's and Alleva made my job considerably easier.

Pros

Everything that Alleva offers is works well with every facet of our company, and Alleva support is the best of the best.

Cons

I don't think that there are any cons that I know of.

Positive. Great customer service and great software as a whole. It is missing just a few key features/changes to go from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Pros

Majority of EHR's are archaic and outdated where you're fighting the system more than helping your clients. I appreciate that Alleva feels fresh and modern.

Cons

You can store your data in the system, but if you want to evaluate your data in the slightest it means you have to pay a LOT of extra money for that ability. There should be free tiers where you can dump your data so you can evaluate yourself, instead of having to pay money just to access your data to see some graphs.

Alleva: Pros and Cons

Overall I haven't been impressed. I don't deal with Alleva on the back-end (finances, administration, etc.) but from what I have experienced, I've experienced more struggles than I have successes. Frankly, I feel that I have to work my job around my EMR instead of the EMR making my job easier. I want to be fair that I don't have the entire picture, but I would not recommend.

Pros

Alleva has some really cool customizable features. The user interface is aesthetically pleasing compared to other EMRs I've used in the past.

Cons

Really struggling to make Alleva work for my use. There are quite a few bugs (specifically with treatment plans) and features that are not intuitive and do not match with what we're looking for. It's tough to get support. Submitting a ticket is often challenging to get a response and when I get a response, typically the solution is 1. "You're not using it correctly and it is user error." and then when...

It's been a pretty easy transition. I haven't had any difficulties or frustrations.

Pros

It has a lot of different features that are easy to navigate.

Cons

There isn't an option to make progress private. I don't like that all staff can see them.

As a UR Quality Compliance guy, I really enjoyed the flexability, support and calendaring and reports.

Flexibility and support. I also love that it web based and completely confident
