“We now track membership via Breeze (we use to maintain a spreadsheet of who is a member). We now track when people become members (date of membership) as well as when they leave the church (and removed from membership). So we do limit who is authorized to update 'status' (member, attender, former member) as well as date of membership etc. When the pastors know of members leaving our church they simply assign a "membership" task so we are aware of who has left and can update the individual profiles along with other steps we need to take to remove a member. ”
