We have tried MANY project management platforms and for us to select monday.com says a lot about the product. We have a varied group of individuals within our marketing department using this tools to coordinate everything from our detailed printing requests, web and online projects to translation flow (very difficult to manage due to the many contributors involved in this process.) Monday.com makes all of this convenient and easy to follow.
Its incredibly easy to create a work flow or "Board", add participants and follow the progress of many tasks with ease. We can attach any supporting files or materials needed to each post and tag a specific user. Email and desktop notifications alert you on any activity and there is a web based site you can go to or the even better desktop and mobile app versions.
One of the few cons i can think of is the absence of a "repeating or scheduled task". I know there are ways around this but it seems like something that should be native to it.

Clever marketing brought us here, and so far the depth of the product has lived up to the hype. Monday's development is moving a good direction - if they can wean users off of email they might help me get more team buy-in. All said, if you have a strong, vocal PM that won't accept any deliverables that didn't go through the software, this may be all that is required.
We chose this for the depth of the product, the vision of the company, and the support system. I am quite happy with the product for the time being - options, configurations and communication tools abound, and the different ways of visualizing project data are extremely helpful and open our company to opportunities.
I have used an immense variety of project management software in my time, and all bring something to the table. Monday brings everything to the table, but the table gets too full. The sheer complexity of the offerings has kept many of my users away, and often I am in the position where I am attempting to rope members back into the software in order to not have to duplicate my reporting. Intimidated by the product, they fall back to inundating the team with email. I don't quite have a picture of how I can fully build out dozens of client folders, each with 10+ boards, each board with 4-5 groups of 1-+ "pulses" each, without anything falling through the cracks, and still knowing that progress is being made. This may be an educational thing on my part.

This platform has helped me a lot to manage my tasks and projects efficiently. One of the things I love the most is the ease of use, the intuitive and customizable interface, and the ability to collaborate in real time with my team. One of the biggest benefits I've noticed is the ability to visualize my work in a format that makes sense to me. With monday.com, I can choose from a variety of templates and views, such as boards, Gantt charts, calendars, and more, that help me track my work progress and spot any issues or delays. However, there are also some points that need improvement. I still think the integration with other tools could be more fluid, especially with Google Drive and Trello.
As a Monday.com user, I can say that one of the things I love about the platform is its ease of use. The interface is intuitive and customizable, which makes it easy to adapt the tool to the specific needs of the project or team. Furthermore, the platform is extremely flexible and can be used to manage any type of project, from simple tasks to more complex projects with multiple teams and schedules.Another...
While I appreciate many aspects of Monday.com, there are also some limitations that could be improved upon. One of the things I think is missing is the ability to assign multiple people to a task or project. Sometimes more than one person is required to work on a specific task and it would be nice to have the option to assign more than one team member.Another aspect that could be improved is the integration...

Cost: I find that the cost of Monday.com can be a bit steep, particularly for small businesses or freelancers who may not have the budget for a premium subscription.Complexity: Although the interface is user-friendly, I can find the platform to be quite complex and overwhelming, particularly when trying to set up more advanced workflows and automations.Steep learning curve: I find that it can take...

With Monday.com, we are able to seamlessly integrate tasks, end-goals, team members, and other components of our team projects. This comprehensive integration equips us with all the necessary tools to efficiently manage our projects from a unified platform.
I appreciate the user-friendliness of Monday.com's automations. With just three uncomplicated steps of selecting and personalizing a trigger, picking a condition, and configuring our preferred action, bringing automation into my team's projects is readily available to me as a user. As a result, creating tailored automations for specific project types has been a smooth and effortless process.
Although Monday.com provides a variety of collaboration tools, it does not provide support for person to person or group chats. Therefore, we have had to rely on third party integrated messaging tools like Slack for chat communication for our projects.

Easy to use and very intuitive, but will be more adequate for Tech support stories rather than developers' stories
Is very straightforward forward you have a designated list of tasks to be done, and with a click, you update the status of each task, after QA review your task can be easy update by QA as well.
It doesn't have a timeline or backlog of the stories been approved by management, the end user can easily change the status to done without QA approval

Really great, it's been a big help for us in onboarding a new team member and making sure we all know what we are meant to be doing.
The fact that it's so funcational when it's free and easy to see what you get for your money if you do pay for extras. That makes me more likely to upgrade to a paid account at times when we need it. We love that its a really visual tool and this works for a 100% remote team running multiple complex projects. the ability to automate a lot of the processes also helps us and reduces our workload doing the silly little jobs that hold up getting into the real work!
The only thing I don't really like is the way the messages stack in the tasks and I haven't yet found a good way of having a space we can workshop in but we have other tolls for that which we can add links to so that's alright for now.

Work orders that have been completed and those that are still in progress can be saved in the system. Council members are able to read updates without having to get regular email updates. Keeping tabs on my immediate team's daily workload and expected workload. Anyone who is suffering and needs more support or time, or who is short on work, may be easily identified.
It's the most user-friendly tracking tool available. Especially when teams are spread out across the globe, updates are almost always instantaneous. works on both Chrome and iOS. The views are simple to grasp and adjust to your own method of working. It's a breeze to get up and running, and it only takes a few minutes to learn and collaborate with your team.
The timeline feature, one of the nicest features, is not available in the free edition. Some of the integrations are a tad constrained. If you don't handle your email notifications, you'll be flooded.

Monday.com makes productivity addicting! Our small team likes seeing our progress and watching as tasks/"pulses" turn green and complete. It's very flexible and customizable. If you can figure out google sheets, you can figure out Monday. Their support team is also pretty good at answering emails quickly and they are very friendly.
- Monday.com is truly flexible and as easy to customize as a google sheet, but with way more power through smart columns, formulas, automations and integrations - The color coded status column(s) make it easy to see how things are going at a glance and it's addicting to work as a team towards "all greens"! It's like the professional version of "closing the ring" on apple watch or reaching step goals on fitbit. - The mobile app is almost as powerful as the web version, though I do wish they would bring "info boxes" on pulses to mobile since right now you can't see or edit those :(
- Monday.com is a bit expensive if you're a small team. I wish they had per user licenses for small teams instead of bundles. - The My Week feature is nice to show you all of the tasks from all projects that you have due coming up, but I wish Monday.com let you create a "timeline of timelines" similar to Asana portfolios that let you see how all of your projects are progressing and how much (planned) time is left on them before final deadline etc.

Awesome! Just overall awesome.
I honestly couldn't run my business without this at this point. Monday.com has become a vital piece of software for my business and managing my team. I work with a LOT of contractors and clients and I can base everything in Monday.com. I also love how I can customize it to fit whatever project I am working on in a great way.
1. The mobile app is hard to use in my opinion and takes a little while to navigate. 2. I do find some things I want to customize and do I can't because its not a feature offered by monday.com. Mainly to do with formulas or something like that. The formula options are pretty limiting but thats not a big deal to me.

I loved using Monday.com with my own project management and when I was working on other teams. I can say it is just about perfect for larger teams and large projects. If I was to build a project management system it would be very similar to Monday. Can get over complicated as it gets deeper and deeper. Sometimes things got lost because they were so deep in the project. Having subtasks is important but they need to be managed well or they get lost.

At first it was a great tool to play around with to figure out the best way to track our event and who was working on what portion. The quick look at the colors to see the progress was great. There was a place to put notes and mention people in posts to let them know there are tasks waiting for them. However, the customization was not the best. If you added one column to a section, it added it in for...
That I was able to see what my co-workers were working on and their progress with the task. They used easy-to-view color-coded options.
You are able to clearly see the progress of your co-workers, however, it is hard to make updates or edits to the task. There is an area to make notes, however, it is not in the front for people to see right away. You need to click in to the whole task. Also, when you make a column for one section it creates it for all. Some columns are not necessary for each section and can be confusing when updating.

Monday.com has allowed me to streamline my daily and weekly team stand-ups and to track project completion in real time. I've also been able to leverage the tool for collaboration and project management with individuals outside my company which is a useful feature of monday.com.
Monday.com has a simple user interface that allows my geographically diverse team with varying comfort levels with technology to collaborate projects and track progress and project completion.
There is limited reporting functionality available within Monday.com. This is not necessarily an issue for my use case, but it may be an issue for some and it would be beneficial for the software to provide broader reporting options.

I really like how Monday.com makes it easy to see what everyone is working on and what tasks are upcoming. It's also been really helpful for me to be able to track my own progress on tasks. Overall, I'm really happy with Monday.com!
I've found that Monday.com is an excellent tool for keeping track of both my own work and the work of my team. It's easy to use and provides a great deal of visibility into what everyone is working on. This has been extremely helpful in coordinating our efforts and ensuring that everyone is on track. I would highly recommend Monday.com to anyone looking for a project management solution.
The only thing I didn't like about Monday.com was that it wasn't always easy to figure out how to do specific tasks. For example, there were a few times when I wasn't sure how to add a comment or edit a task. However, the support team was always quick to help and they made it easy to learn how to use the software.

Apply the status property to automate tasks like as responding to job applications, sending files to an email address, monitoring progress on a project, and notifying relevant parties. Monday.com now has slack integrations, so when an incident is created in a product, our members are alerted in the appropriate slack channel as well as on Monday.com.
Super easy to set up, and you can keep things basic if you like, or get creative with your tracking. In this way, I know that my team and I are covering all the bases. Our company's record-keeping and responsibility are both enhanced by the software. The responses to inquiries and requests from the support service are prompt, and the help videos are excellent.
Perhaps this is the cost that new businesses must pay. When you realize the potential of Monday.com and Notion. For a new business, it might be challenging to afford both Notion and monday.com. It may be really convenient to receive a discount for utilizing both applications.

We utilize this on a daily basis and it serves its purpose perfectly. Our team leaders and project managers rely upon monday.com software to ensure we complete work for our clients in a timely and organized manner.
This software was very easy to set up for the team and manage on a daily level. It serves its purpose for us and we rarely ever have issues at all levels.
Some of the automation requires other paid integrations, it would be cool to one day have that automation built in for a higher cost of the service.

Overall, we use Monday.com, will continue to use it, and will keep recommending it to others, especially small business owners. It's a great tool to keep organized, is user-friendly, and offers a wide range of customizable features that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any business. It is an efficient way to manage tasks, projects, and deadlines all in one place. Although there is a lot more to learn, and new automations to discover, Monday.com will always be the tool that keeps on giving. Furthermore, Monday.com provides excellent customer support and is constantly improving its platform with new updates and integrations. Its mobile app also allows for easy access to tasks and projects on-the-go, making it a versatile tool for any business owner or team member.
The best thing I like about Monday.com is that it is extremely user-friendly. Next to that, it helps us get organized by minimizing the number of applications or platforms we have to manage, by making this a one-stop shop for eveything we need This ultimately saves us time and allows us to focus on our tasks rather than spending time navigating through different tools. Additionally, the customizable features of Monday.com make it easy to tailor the platform to our specific needs and workflows.
The coding or automations are easy to setup, but because there is such a wide range of possibilities, the automations and codings are endless too, which makes it hard to describe if you have an idea and trying to look for a way to automate it. What would be amazing is for Monday to setup “experts” who can be their frontliners that customers who use the platform can easily access and ask questions, get supplemental training from. Having dedicated experts available to answer questions and provide training would not only enhance the user experience but also increase customer retention. This could potentially differentiate Monday from its competitors and establish it as a go-to platform for project management and automation needs.

Overall I like Monday.com a lot as it cleared my mailbox too. Team members now directly send updates to the board resulting in l lot less unnecessary emails. Another good feature is the board email, I can send email to the board members in one go. You need not to create separate group or anything, just the email of board that's it!
First of all it has a lot of useful features which makes managing multiple teams so easy. You can configure boards according to your need which can be shared with other members privately too, simple yet very important feature. Members can create their own boards as well which can be subscribed by anybody. So, if any of my member creates a really interesting board, I subscribe it and see the updates...
There is nothing as such to write in this section. I pretty much like everything about this software. It had made my life so easy. I'm sure about the cost of it as I don't handle that department.

My company uses Monday.com to keep track of many different projects we have going at one time - we are an events company, so we have hundreds of events in a year that each have individual processes that need to be accounted for. Monday.com has been helpful in having a broad scope of where we are at with each project. We are still ironing out the kinks to figure out what our workflow will be with this, but it is a pleasant platform to use - very aesthetically pleasing and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
I love how you can make a board with automations so that it helps you organize. For instance, I can set a project I'm working on from "pending" to "complete" in one box, and automate it so that once I hit "complete", it moves that project to the "complete" section in a different part of the board. I also love that you can integrate it with different platforms like AirTable and Slack, which is super helpful. Overall, it does a really good job of helping you have a grand overview of where you are at with a project, and helps my team see what projects have been completed and where we still have more work to do. I also know there's a lot of great other features that I haven't learned yet that could be useful to us once we get the hang of this platform.
It's a bit complex to learn, which is frustrating at first. There's a lot of formula coding and lingo Monday.com uses that you have to learn for it to make sense. I found that having a specialist help you code your page to your liking was pretty helpful. There's also some places where we set something up but there are scenarios in which this set up might get undermined by one action that would seem logical but would throw off the board. I do wish that the program helped walk you through the process of getting your workflow set up, but I'm sure that's being worked out since they are a relatively new platform.
