I would rate it 10/10. No problems and would recommend people to use it.
The best feature is the price, it starts at only $4 per person per month, you can create unlimited number of work groups, ability to highlight posts as important for immediate attention. The best part is auto captioning in videos and I am able to invite people without business email to workplace.
There is not much to dislike about Workplace, however I find the news feed section a bit distracting at time and also it would be nice if we can have an option to segment the market better. Other than that it is a very good platform to work on.

I have joined facebook hotel motel association group in 2017 and ever since i was able to find my answers for business related within a minute. thousands of people own more than 2 hotels with different franchise and you can talk to them within a minute them through facebook. Honestly I used facebook hotel group when i bought my second hotel. I asked everything about what do i need to require for business pip if i buy this property and what will be ADR and profit margin and what is franchise fees. I had really good positive experience before i buy this propert through facebook.
2.4 billion people use Facebook in this world. What else you need to talk about your business? As a two big hotels owner, we use facebook for business purpose more than social purpose. We have more than five hotel motel association groups in facebook where you can talk to anyone in united states who owns hotel motel business. In these group you can talked about hows business in different state, you can buy some used product for hotel use like furniture or equipment with good price. You can always talk about whenever you will going to get your hotel inspect etc. What do you required to meed different hotel franchise and all.
Facebook has a negative impact on teen age. The current generation are spoiling their education while chatting on Facebook and not concentrating on studies. Sometime notification also being annoying and cause a distraction from your work but you can always turn off your notification setting which is good point.

The main benefit of this workplace is its ease of use. Is just like the normal Facebook-Meta interface even on mobile screens. The way you can share updates, chat, create specific groups for specific areas or topics, creates a really nice digital organization and a quick workflow. It's also really helpful when it comes to previewing files, for any area, but specially for content creators. Here, they...
Despite it being easy to use, and also integrating the main digital communication and organization elements, it costs. Now, for sure is not way too expensive, however, by this times, every company has already got choices from other brands that offer free resources (yeah, by separate, but free and not that hard to use at the end of the day) for this purposes. Even the same organizations have already created their own workspace using cloud systems or other tools.Maybe this workplace came a few years late, it would have been a blast in past years. Now, it seems just like another option between hundreds even when it comes from a big brand like Meta.

My overall experience with Workplace by Facebook is amazing. I am using it daily for internal communication with office guys and now it becomes part of my daily task, it is very much similer to facebook so no need for extra training.
I like everything about Workplace by Facebook. It is just similar to facebook, sometimes I feel that I am using facebook not Workplace by Facebook because of its user interface is similar to Facebook and this the best thing that I like about this tool. Apart from this, I like the way I can interact and publish all the important announcements to all the colleges at the same time just with a single click.
There is one thing that I like least about it and I would like to highlight too that this platform is a little bit expensive compared to others and because of this the small startups may not able to afford this but I must say that It is worth to spend on it.

Workplace from Meta has transformed my team's remote collaboration experience, providing a seamless and user-friendly platform for real-time messaging, video conferencing, and team collaboration. Its advanced analytics features have also enabled us to better understand team dynamics and improve our workflows. Overall, it's an essential tool for any remote team looking to enhance productivity and teamwork.
Workplace from Meta has transformed the way my team collaborates remotely. Its familiar social media-style interface, video conferencing features, and real-time messaging have streamlined communication, increased productivity, and fostered a sense of community. Its advanced analytics and insights also provide valuable data that helps us better understand team dynamics and identify areas for improvement.
Workplace from Meta may have a steep learning curve for some users, especially those who are not accustomed to social media-style interfaces. The pricing plans may also be a bit higher compared to some other remote collaboration tools, which could be a drawback for small businesses or startups with limited budgets

Our HR system used Workplace by Facebook for polling purposes, to send notifications, for transparency, culture building and to keep employees stay connected just like Facebook. So far, the response is good from the employee side.
Workplace by Facebook is an app similar to Facebook but meant for work, productivity and to keep employees stay connected. Its layout is like Facebook, so very convenient to use without going through any training. It allows you to form groups basis on departments, projects or organizational hierarchy. Groups can be used for sharing files, feedback or polls. Messaging feature allows you to chat in groups,...
Workplace comes in different pricing options including Essential, Advanced and Enterprise, so choose wisely depending upon the features you need. Even the highest-paid version allows you to perform group video call up to 50 people. Notification can be annoying and cause a distraction from your usual work.

Overall, I had a good experience with Facebook Workplace, and I definitely see the value of using it for an organization. It makes work a little more exciting and keeps members of the company engaged and integrated. However, it is also quite distracting and steers people away from the seriousness of work as they associate this with Facebook.
I liked the fact that it is incredibly easy to use this software! As long as you have used Facebook before (which I'm sure everyone has at this point), it's not difficult and won't take long for you to get used to how Facebook Workplace works. You can have a platform where all the members of your organization are included, but also make separate groups for different projects or teams. There's also the usage of video calls, calendar events, live broadcasts, chats, and so on. The news feed also keeps you connected with your other co-workers, and the entire system just seems really fun and light, and tries to make work a little more pleasant for everybody.
I think what was negative for Facebook Workplace is the mentality that people have towards this software. I found it difficult for some people to separate Facebook from Workplace and therefore it was difficult for them to take it seriously, and instead only viewed it as more of social media platform, and still direct their work somewhere else. This takes away from the whole point of fully integrating the company and its work and people into this platform.

For overall, I think this software is really good it's affordable and easy to use, have a very significant impact especially in online businessess and for communication. It's features are really good it makes us more effective and efficient in our work.
What I like the most about this software is that it's very affordable and easy to use the features are very useful especially when you have small business you can promote and make an online survey, and when you posted something it automatically generate translation which is very helpful for people to understand even in other countries, you can also create a group collaboration which is very important inorder to have a communication to your team.
I really like this software however what I least like is that you can't customized your domain or your account and also the overloaded notification. I think the management should look in this and make improvement in this area.

We use Workplace for notifying birthdays, work anniversaries, client appreciations and new wins. For any events taking place in the company, it is very easy to arrange a poll. I feel connected to my organization and it is easy to recognize, appreciate, ask queries to a large group of people. Overall, it is a wonderful software and is worth the value.
This is a wonderful product that allows you to keep a track of all the activities of your organization. As this follows the exact same pattern as Facebook, it doesn't require any training and is very easy to use. One can create common interest groups, share videos images, post questions and polls and various other stuff. It keeps the employees engaged and create a sense of belonging within the organization.
I don't think there is anything that one would not like about this software. One thing which can sometimes be annoying can be bulk notifications but there's always an option to configure your settings.

Workplace by facebook is a phenomenal collaborative tool that I would recommend to anyone particularly interested in using it.
Workplace by Facebook is a winning collaborative tool that is both fun to use and very professional. It is a feature-rich tool which is wonderfully crafted to anticipate every need of the users. It was an easy tool to set up, invite colleagues and to use. I love that its a great tool that supports various types of media. Its an informative tool which we use to post new memos and it stays both fun and the professionality is not reduced in any way. It's a great productivity tool that adds great value to any company, firm or industry.
Only that the only limitation is that it requires a steady internet supply to function well and an good internet connection is not always available. Also, I find the many email notifications particularly annoying.

In our particular case, we use Workplace more as a social network than as a strictly work and task environment. At Workplace we count our achievements, the good news, prizes for collaborators, recognitions, etc; which benefits the good work environment.
Although Workplace has multiple features, one of its main functions is to strengthen the business culture and the relationship between coworkers, being able to generate different groups to decide whether to share certain information in a more general environment, or with your closest colleagues. At the same time, it allows you to share work appointments, notes to your workers, work calendar and more.
Despite its remarkable similarity, it is not as easy to use or intuitive as Facebook. The price is somewhat high and makes it not a solution for everyone. Knowing that it is a tool in which all bosses can see your activity, your reports, your tasks, is a bit scary.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm already growing tired of my personal Facebook account and ready to get rid of it, so having to deal with the same platform among co-workers isn't very interesting to me. It has its uses, but strictly as an optional "just for fun" space. Do NOT try to do real business or communication with it.
Since this is literally Facebook for work by Facebook, it's good if your company places a high value on being social. Having non-business interactions, sharing common interests, and giving each other kudos for jobs well done can be useful for keeping moral up and inviting employees to get to know each other.
It may be for the office, but it's a social network platform. It's TERRIBLE for sharing critical information, and not effective for even general news that you want more of your folks to set eyes on. It's user feed is just as random and sporadic as regular Facebook is, and it's VERY easy for things to get overlooked.

We see lots of "Twinning" and memes that serve no work purpose so I find it distracting and hard to filter down to messages of substance. I don't believe this should be used as a primary communication channel unless you control/ restrict posts of content with no work value.
Workplace works like Facebook so it is familiar to most users. It's fairly intuitive to use for those that have not previously adopted Facebook. It has a chat feature similar to Facebook Messenger.
I'm not a Facebook user, so for me, this is a platform I didn't want to use as a communication channel at work. I do like the chat feature but most of the content posted has become less about work and more about "social media" content that I have made a point to avoid.

Workplace is the tool developed by Facebook (Meta) that allows professionals to have an intuitive collaboration and sharing platform. Users can create workgroups, post videos, integrate with other platforms. The cost of 4$ / month / person is affordable enough for each user.
In terms of features and services, workplace from meta has less than its main competitors. Despite the relatively high cost of its subscription per user.

As long as you are using the free version, it solves the information dissemination problem and some feeds from Harvard business review, yahoo finance etc., but offers nothing more. Premium version is a bit pricey and offers very little in terms of value additions. Integrations are alright, nothing to write home about. Metrics are limited to closed and open groups, secret group statistics are nowhere to be found.
A familiar format Notification flexibility Group-specific live streaming
A bit pricey for the offering Premium version doesn't support SSO or analytics and lot

Unsurprisingly, Workplace by Facebook is pretty intuitive to use for anybody who's used the main Facebook product. The concept, UI paradigm, and functionality of Workplace's groups feature is pretty much the same as that in the main Facebook product (you can have attached files, you have a wall of posts, you have an associated messenger group) so anybody capable of posting memes in their personal lives has zero onboarding cost to Workplace. So it's pretty adequate for facilitating collaboration from that perspective.
The philosophical notion around having Facebook control both your personal and workplace interactions is rather fraught, especially for folks who value work life balance. Also: page and UI element loading speeds are horrid, especially on desktop browsers—this is consistent with regular FB's desktop browser performance woes.

Workplace by Facebook was bought in to encourage employees to limit the number of emails used but it ended up as a useless fancy new toy.
Having used Workplace by Facebook in 2 organisations, the most nice features are: - Ease of use with Facebook like template/look and feel - Has chatting option to communicate to your colleagues - Messaging can be done to certain groups thus avoiding over communication - Groups can be made "secret" or open to all
-While this is a good tool, organisations may have lot of other communication platforms which might lead to it not being used effectively -Compared to other tools like Slack/Microsoft Teams, Workplace file sharing is cumbersome - Communicating/chatting functionality is still nascent compared to Slack/Teams - Expensive platform that can have adoption issues

Since the UI is very similar to Facebook, it was very easy for employees to learn to use it, including for those with low digital literacy. I also like that it makes it very easy to post and share updates with the whole org.
One on one or small group communication was harder since a separate workchat app had to be installed.

The greatest strength of Workplace for Facebook is that it has a familiar UI that makes it easy for anyone to use it. The pricing is really attractive - far cheaper than competing products. I like the easy file sharing. Video streaming works well and is of excellent quality. It has great integration with Salesforce, Onedrive and other tools we use. Notification works perfectly, thus ensuring I don't miss out on anything.
The mobile app experiences glitches that makes it freeze. Lack of group calling feature is another issue that needs to be addressed.

Overall, it’s a great value because it’s free for most users. There are some kinks that need to be worked out. However, if you’re actively searching for a job, it’s a great resource.
I love that this software is free for people searching for a job. Some other softwares charge a monthly fee. So this is a great tool!
The notification option needs help. I get notifications for jobs that I’ve never searched for and am not qualified for.

This novel idea makes communication a piecemeal and company related information can be found in single location. However it will go long way to make it successful by providing every new thing the users are demanding such as streamlining of upload process.
We can update information about the company and share what is new at our workplace on Workplace. So it is as easy as any social media platform. We get useful suggestion for the company here which can help to cut down the cost. Organization chart and co-workers search is fun altogether. It fits all types of budgets and provides good collaboration.
The uploading of files is nasty procedure and they don't help us in easy tracking for our threads requiring more discussions. It needs more options but it is a novel idea.

Workplace is a solid and well built system that does what it says on the tin. It's a pretty flexible canvas that you can use for any number of purposes, just like Facebook, but siloed for your business alone, but at a cost.
Because this SaaS is so like Facebook, it's super intuitive, so there is no bar to entry. The features are also in line with those available on Facebook, which makes it a good all around option.
There are better apps for the same money that include more bespoke features for things like collaborating, project management, internal Comms.

One of the best moves we've made! Great value for the money if you need the pro features.
Workplace replaced the forums we had been using and we found that the engagement level grew tremendously. Being Facebook like, users found the interface familiar and very easy to use. Offers mobile apps as well as a desktop version. If you're an admin, they have a lot of tools for you to add and monitor groups and users.
Wish we could move posts, if people post in the wrong groups. Other than that, we are very happy and they are always adding new features.

Overall our experience has been good and Workplace has been a bit hit with our user community.
The fact that it's built on the Facebook interface makes it extremely easy for anyone to use right away without any end user training.
Probably the biggest complaint I've heard concerning Workplace is the price as it is a bit on the expensive side for what it does.
