It is a software my guys in the field will and do use. It is simple as that.

Although constant updates are good, Raken does change their online site up relatively frequently as they roll out newer and better options for the product. Although the end result is good, for those who do not adapt to change in the technology world, or are not tech savvy it can be a bit frustrating.

1. Cloud based (no expensive servers, no storage limits) 2. Extremely easy to use 3. Allows Foremen/Superintendents to have very detailed field reports 4. Can share photos, recordings, weather, and reports with a link vs. large emails 5. Can track jobs by crews, employee, and cost codes 6. Easily document weather delays 7. Voice recording allows for a LOT of flexibility and complete detail 8. Phone, ipad, tablets or desktop are part of the accessibility with just a logon 9. All this at an affordable price 10. If you need to go to mediation and/or court, this is quite the electronic storage 11. Allows for employee to sign the time/work performed and no accidents 12. Easily modify your daily field report for different jobs.

1. We started when it first launched and it didn't have all the features but they were listening and added new things constantly 2. Would like to see more gps functions later for time card validating

It has all the reporting areas we need to provide quick access to information and our Superintendents can easily fill out information during the work day without taking a lot of time away from overseeing work quality.

Raken is for all intents and purposes a great software for daily reports. Weather is right there. Days can be pulled up and out when needed

There are many things that other software does, within their daily reporting capabilities that Raken simply doesn't. issue tracking and reporting is much better with other software. And the ability to customize the daily reports on a per job basis is better with other software

Easy to use and take photos for daily construction reports. App works well and didn't crash on me. Unlimited photo storage as well as nice PDF output if needed.

I really wanted to like this software. Unfortunately it is missing some key features that I needed. You are not able to customize the reports enough for our use. Most importantly you are not able to make some fields required. I need to know YES or NO if a safety walk has been completed that day. The pricing is also way too high for a daily reporting app. Customer Service was very good and they seem to really care but they are missing some basic features.

Can't custom very well - mobile application - signing timesheets or toolbox talks

Easy to use. Easy to learn. Liked the price for what we got.

Didn't like downloading one by one each report to save, very time consuming. Didn't like that we couldn't switch up the questions and customize those on the account we chose.

the pros of this software are the synchronicity and ease of implementation with other software. Several of our other vital programs are able to link to Raken and so that is our favorite part about it.

Due to the newness of the cloud based system and the fact that our office is more used to programs such as Xactimate, the amount of time spent on sorting out issues is a con for us.

Our company used the free trial and after seeing how easy the app was to use we plan to purchase this for future use on projects. All you have to do is answer a few questions and a daily report is automatically generated. This includes taking pictures right on the apps interface and having it time stamped and in the report. The automatic weather report was a cool inclusion as well.

With Raken I can check my jobs, take notes and photos, and quickly send to the customer. The customer knows I have been there and can review progress right from my email.

You do have to move up to the much more expensive option to customize your daily report.

A good software that allows you to track time and cost that goes into a project.

Software does not allow you to edit entries. You have to delete the entry and re-enter which can be bothersome.
