User opinions about STACK price and value

Value for money rating:

Of 143 reviews that provide robust commentary on STACK's price and value, 51% mention it in a positive light.

Some users say STACK offers good value for money, highlighting its customizable features and the ability to tailor pricing for materials to specific business needs. They appreciate the free trial option, which allows potential buyers to test the software without financial risk. Users think the software is reasonably priced for the functionalities it provides, such as accurate material take-offs and the ability to handle complex projects efficiently. They also note that STACK's flexible payment options and continuous updates without significant price hikes add to its value.

However, some reviewers feel the software is pricey, especially for small businesses or infrequent users. They report that the annual subscription model and per-user licensing fees can be burdensome. Some users mention that the cost increases at each renewal, making it difficult to justify the expense. Additionally, they express frustration with the lack of a cost-per-use option and the need to pay extra for certain features. Users also note that maintaining updated pricing information can be time-consuming and challenging.

“My only complaint is that I don't do a lot of new construction work so I find the flat annual fee a bit steep for the 30-5o take offs I do in a year it would be nice if there were a few different tiers.”

Integration rating: 4.6 (9)

This integration it's a must, you can not handle numeric information without using a spreadsheet, and Excel it's the best of it's kind i think

Because their are certain formatting issues that require data extraction to show different reporting methods.

Being able to import take off data into excel estimates is a huge feature and I use it on every project.

I transfer ALL in the info from STACK Reporting in to an EXCEL Spreadsheet on each and every job.

When I finish my takeoff at Stack I always export the data to an Excel sheet to work.

we use Procore to manage projects and having our estimates line up with production is critical. Unfortunately at present Stack is only integrating project names so we are manually entering project budget information from stack to Procore. Not sure if it's an oversight on our end, an unimplemented piece of the integration, or a limitation of Stack but
