Helpful in keeping track of everything you've paid. Syncs easily with QB. Easy search features allows you to go back and view previously paid invoices. Fast payments. Tells you if payment is outstanding or not.
Sometimes can be a bit too simple. Would be nice to have some extra features. E.g. you can set up a recurring payment but you cannot edit any text that will appear on the check and it defaults with a date. Unable to add a contract number to a recurring payment.

Efficiency, ease of use and remote capabilities related to AP functions
Incredibly easy to use; I like that it easily syncs to QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online software
I don't have any complaints about the software. I use it for quite a few accounting clients and have always found that if I run into a snag, the customer support chat team at Bill.com is able to assist me. Admittedly, the issues I've had have all been user errors, rather than shortcomings related to the software.

Bill.com has increased our productivity and accuracy, with very few issues.
The concept of having a digital copy of each bill/invoice/statement that you can open up at any time. This is exceptionally helpful during closing, if you need to verify something.
The fact that credits have to be posted in both bill.com and in your accounting software. It makes it double work when something needs to be credited off from a prior period.

Bill.com is a cloud-based accounting software designed to streamline billing and accounting processes, as well as automate workflow tasks. The software is available on-demand for businesses to access, so it is flexible and easy to use. It allows users to generate invoices and invoice approvals, manage expenses, track sales figures and expenses, create reports, email reminders of payments due from customers or vendors, and more.
Bill.com offers several core features for small businesses, including integration with several accounting software systems, tax filing capabilities and reporting, a mobile-friendly interface, and payment options.
Bill.com lacks the ability to create custom reports and customize the look and feel of invoices and other documents.

I have several vendors that use Bill.com as well as I have used online bill paying service for the past 10 years. I enjoy being able to travel, be on the road and have access to my bills. Bill payment process is very easy and customer support very easy
All bills for the year in one place. I use the app a lot. I am able to approve bills for my business from anywhere.
Being able to put some bills to not be viewed until they are needed to be paid versus popping up each month on the top of the bills.

Being able to approve invoices in one location.
I like that the search feature works so well in this software. If I only know a little bit about an invoice I'm looking for, I can pretty type anything in and it will find it. The approval feature is easy and it is also nice that I can make comments for the accounting team to see.
It would be nice to have access to reports even if you aren't an administrator. If I want to pull spend by vendor, I have to ask our Accounting Team to do this instead of just getting it myself which is definitely frustrating.

bill.com is one of the fastest and efficiante way to import data to quickbooks and we used it every day.
Bill.com is really simply and easy to use and it works really well with Quickbooks that I can import data with no issues and this happens every day and I am glad that this software helps me to do my job a lot more easy.

Love that they handle the payments for us!
It is easy to use for AP bill processing. I enjoy the fact that each client can have users login and code bills on their own, no pre-coding is required other than the vendor and amount. I like that you can search for all bills by vendor and see copies of checks. The audit trail is a great feature. Auditors do love it.
Although I love it and will use it still, I do struggle with a few things: 1) It takes all AP monies at one time instead of issuing checks that will clear the bank slowly, 2) It doesn't handle multi-entity perfectly 3) It is costly 4) the 1099 process is a bit more cumbersome than desired, 5) It requires manually adding approvers each time unless you setup rules based on amounts...no other rules options right now.

I like that we can integrate our sales from our POS, Aloha, to our HotSchedules account to forecast sales and help control our labor costs.
I wish that the request off features were a little less confusing for our employees, and that we could view the total number of people scheduled on a certain shift at the bottom like with older versions of Hot Schedules.

Our favorite SaaS product... and we use dozens. I would not work in a workplace without paperless AP processes.
Saves a huge amount of time managing AP. We've been on bill.com for 8+ years and I can't imagine running AP in compliance with our policies and procedures without it (or something similar).
Sync with external services can glitch if you're not careful. Cost can be expensive at highest tiers.

Paperless - don't have to print or mail payments or file invoices Can quickly access PDF's of any invoice and all the accounting details
Syncing to QuickBooks Online has been a little tricky. There's definitely a learning curve to understand the limitations of the sync function and learn how to work around it.

I've used Bill.com with our business and personally for several years and have not had any problems at all.
Bill.com is very easy to use and the app on my phone makes it even easier. I use Bill.com personally and with our business.
We had to cut down on our users in the app because of the cost. I wish there were options for multiple users that wasn't expensive.

Customer portal. Customers can access all their invoices and payments in on place.
Absolutely incompetent customer service. No knowledge of the product. No ability to call them.

I'm using this for last 4 years and this is the best solution
I have many AP platforms for Account Payable processing so far this is the best solution. My favorite features are; 1. International Payments 2. Artificial intelligence 3. Approval process 4. Syncing to QBO and NS 5. Customer support
I don't like that you can't book an bill in liability account. It should give us option to book into any account.

Overall I highly recommend bill.com for small to medium size company. If bill through accountant admin, it's definitely worth the money.
it's very easy to implement. Sync between bill.com and Quickbooks is easy. Payment processing is also very easy. Love the approval levels that can be set up
The sync between bill.com and Netsuite is actually hard to set up. I had this issue with one of my client, there has been a lot of sync issue due to the set up. It may not be a bill.com issue, more of Netsuite, however, the trouble shoot was pretty tough to resolve

Easy way to upload vendor invoices and approve for payment.
Easy uploads and tagging project names and codes and who can sign for approval.
Hard to search for already approved invoices in your history.

The experience has been great for our organization - even for team members that think tracking payments can be overwhelming, we couldn't do it without Bill.com! Best way to keep everyone organized, including specific departments and the accounting team.
This software program is great - our accounting team can easily put invoices through by vendor, and assign invoices to specific members of our team to approve them - the note section and GL selections are great! The tracking by vendors is easy to see payment deadlines, credit memos, and the status of the invoice. I particularly love logging in and only seeing bill approvals I need to confirm that day - very user-friendly!
The search section can be a bit confusing sometimes to find the vendor, and if you approve a bill by mistake, it's a bit difficult to undo.

Overall we're very happy with Bill.com. The international payments issues is a small inconvenience, but the seamless functionality of their platform for 99% of other cases more than makes up for this.
Bill.com makes it simple to work with teammates to enter, review, and approve invoices and payments. The interface is simple and intuitive, and we're able to use Bill.com to handle the large majority of vendors we work with.
We work with some international vendors and contractors in regions where Bill.com either isn't supported or is only able to send funds in a way that incurs a fee for the receiving party, which can lead to some confusion.

The permissions are customizable, you can be very particular about how the QuickBooks sync happens, and the approval workflows are great. I appreciate being able to connect to Hubdoc, QBO, and Tallie, among other apps.
The customer service is awful. It used to be great, but now you’re lucky to get an email back at all. That is my biggest complaint. Coming in second is the other side of the customization piece: there are lots of ways to make things happen that you don’t want to happen. There are cheaper, simpler solutions out there for the less technologically initiated.

Overall, Bill is a smooth, fast, and easy way to receive payments from clients paying via ACH.
Bill is a low-friction way of receiving payments for invoices. Even though I do not invoice through Bill, many of my clients use it to provide ACH payment, and this is quick and easy for all parties.
At first, I did not really understand what Bill was, as I was asked to join because a client wanted to use it to pay me. I have received multiple phone calls from Bill asking me for more information about my business, and I have declined, as I have no desire to add more features or upgrade my account because I am currently content with the way it works now.
We appreciate you sharing your great experience with the app, especially receiving payments via ACH. We're going to share this with our product team, who always enjoy hearing positive feedback.
