This is my third company using bill.com and i will continue to use it. forever. lol
Very easy to implement and use. integrates very well with quickbooks
Im not confident in its ability to process all international payments. So work great, and others seem a little challenging.

You cannot easily call and talk to anyone. Chats are easy but getting someone on the phone is difficult.
They send payments to our vendors, either paper check or direct deposit.
Bill.com updated their "platform" but it doesn't work well. They have an auto-fill feature that automatically adds the vendor to a bill but it often picks up the wrong vendor and we have had vendors receive payments they were not entitled to, hug hassle.

Bill.com is easy to set up and use. I love the simplicity of approving partner invoices.
The reporting feature needs some upgrades. I would like the ability to see what individuals above me have approved in order to communicate timeliness with my partners.

Eliminates redundancy in documentation (and data storage). Big reduction of time wasted in creating, formatting, and saving, re-saving and digitally signing every transaction. Easy to learn for non-accounting people. Reduces room for error in data-entry.
Ease of use for non-accounting staff. Consolidation of supporting documentation for A/P.
The cost--even users with minimal permissions (view only) cost the same as admins. Cost per transaction is a bit high. The back-end is impossible to customize. You cannot specify the accounts in QuickBooks Online that you want to use for payables, so they land wherever Bill.com decides and wreak havoc if you have specially designated A/P accounts for different compliance purposes. Navigation is a bit clunky in places, especially when reviewing supporting documents (no scroll-through, only page-by-page).

Great software - easily sync with quickbooks and easy to connect to other vendors.
Customer support is great! They are quick and polite and are able to address my issue and questions. I especially like the follow up emails - they allow me to track the progress of the case submitted and I can continue talking with the same representative on the phone/chat
I think the automatic bill processing takes a bit longer than necessary. It would also be helpful if the automatic process could identify credit memos.

Great customer service, onboarding new clients is much improved from when I first started using them years ago. Only issue - per client price is high considering we are also paying for usage. As a firm it would be great to have better pricing.
Easy of use - capturing all documents in one place for one client with a dedicated fax number and email address.

Easy to track invoices and credit memos by going through the vendor profile or searching by reference number. Able to connect to our accounting software. Auto populates information by finding invoice number, amount, and expenses.
Inbox has no sort feature, program freezes up when multiple users are working on it. The payment delivery date gets adjusted when the volume and amount of payment are high making the payments arrive late.

Overall I would recommend using Bill.com to automate your AP and AR functions. It provides easy to use guides and the customer service is on point.
I use it every day to keep track of bills and to pinpoint what needs to be paid. I really like that there is AI built in the software.
I don't like how the software handles international bills. The UI is different between the United States and when we use our subsidiary account.

Great experience and easy to use and train
The thing that I liked most is the method of processing invoices and payments was sped up dramatically. This became a huge time saver and more efficient. Easy to transfer information to our general ledger.

How easy and quick it is to run and payout your vendors.
I like the feature of dragging invoices to the desk top, just letting them load and autofilling your information to make sure your bills are paid in a timely manner. They also have really great customer support that care about helping you get the information you need.
There is a feature of auto adding bills, which is ok but slow compared to a person entering it. Also sometimes when it syncs with other softwhere it get duplicate messages, so again a person will have to manually correct it. This is pretty rare though.

Bill.com has been a great tool allowing is to book, schedule, and pay our vendors easily. It allows the vendors to know when their payment is being processed as well which is a great plus. Just a bit lacking on the reporting side but that is not the main function and we have other tools to compensate. Overall great!
I use bill.com to book and pay accounts payable. One thing I really like is that you can send an invitation to your vendor and they can input their own bank information and upload a W-9 so it cuts down on errors. Pretty straight forward to use and navigate.
The reporting section is lacking. It is not too big of a deal since we integrate bill.com with our accounting software thus run all the reports through them.

It does get a bit expensive for smaller businesses that need multiple users.

This software is a key piece of software in my business, which allows me to pay bills from anywhere not just in my office. Plus I never have to write a check.
This software is extremely easy to use and their support is excellent to work with.
The software is slow to respond when moving through multiple pages.

Sync with xero takes a really really really long time, but this might be xero's fault not really sure.

As a freelance artist, creating invoices one of the most tedious yet essential tasks, and it's crucial to keep track of payments. Bill.com automatically creates invoice numbers, and you just have to plug in your info into drop-down or fillable boxes, making invoicing much less dreadful. It's also integrable with Expensify and allows for direct deposit.
The inbox is a little confusing- when I upload a file, it seems to disappear. Luckily, I haven't had to use the inbox much. I have had no other issues using Bill.com.

Our company manages the accounting for more than 20 entities on the Bill.com platform and it has helped us achieve a great reputation and a successful business model. There are three areas of particular success: Efficiency - We reduced our payable cycle from 3 days to 2 days. Particularly, we cut out the need to print checks, sign checks, stuff envelopes, and mail checks. At over 300 checks...

We did not have any good experience with Bill.
Bill.com was been the worst payment provider our business has ever worked with. The customer service email disregards everything that you say, they do not allow you to call in with any questions or concerns. The company withheld funds for work we had performed for over 4 weeks without cause. This is a very shady and untrustworthy enterprise!

It creates very professional looking pdf invoices and you can adjust the templates to however you like. The best thing about it is that it supports multiple currencies.
If you are moving from another billing software, it can be difficult to transfer all data and very time consuming to transfer it smoothly.

Nothing at all. I would give it a ZERO rating if I was able too. I wish I could say something positive, but they are very unprofessional and do not care about their clients.
No help at all through their online support. And there is no way to get a live person on the phone . You have to make an appointment to speak with someone. Finally when I was set up...I had to basically teach myself, they determined that funding business was not suitable for them...this after being told by one of their sales reps on more than one occasion....your business is no problem. Just not run well at all for serious business owners....look elsewhere

The speed of which ACH payments are made to our vendors who are connected is very slow compared to modern payment solutions

Very useful AP & AR tool.
Useful for integrations from Acuity. Really helpful for AP, invoice tracking, bookkeeping, controller, and overall accounting .
Wish it were simpler to integrate data from Procurement Express.

Saves a lot of time when getting the approvals needs for A/P.
This product is very user-friendly and I love that its so easy to view documents. We process all A/P in bill.com and I wish we could run our expense management (corporate credit cards) through this system.

Any business problems we encountered were fixed pronto at the time of integration. Bill.com is fast, easy, intuitive and a boon to our accounting department.
Once the system is set up, it's click and use. Product use is intuitive.
From my perspective, I've not encountered any aspect that I dislike.
