You can also customize client reminders to ensure they are bringing the proper lab samples, fasting as needed, etc. There are a few pitfalls to the appointment scheduling. It is difficult to schedule from within the patient record. You can schedule from the record, but you are not able to view the scheduler to ensure you are not conflicting with another appointment. If you schedule from within the scheduler, you have to manually enter the patient information. It is easy enough to have two tabs open so you can easily see your patient information while schedluing, though. Appointment slots do not get blocked out if one user is actively scheduling, which allows for accidental double booking. ”
