I used Nitro while I was an intern, as I recall my boss mentioning it was cheaper than the competition pdf editor. I had no major issues with it, did the job just fine

Pros
The simplicity of the software to edit pdfs. Also, an economical option.

Cons
Because it's so simple, it does not offer any fancy functionalities. I also remember it crashing a few times, with larger files

Great to read, convert and edit PDF files. It's affordable to the pocket.

Pros
I really like the complete ways available to edit and convert PDF. There is no only a PDF printer it's possible to edit and modify the PDF itself. Also the price is comparately low to another PDF editor suites. Online you can find help to get some special things done.

Cons
To open or convert some really heavy PDF it can take a while. The software feels slow when open such files. I can´t find another cons about this software so far.

It's a decent replacement for Adobe at a fraction of the cost - but has drawbacks

Nitro is definitely the best price for what you get, though be warned that not all features of Adobe are built into Nitro. The customer service team were incredibly helpful. The sales/marketing team could dial it back a bit with the spam emails. All in all, Nitro is definitely worth considering for PDF reader/editor alternatives.

Pros
Adobe is ridiculously expensive, so we used this product for approximately six months. It was much more affordable to license our users with Nitro and it did have the majority of the features that Adobe offered. Also, the customer service team is phenomenal and did their best to address any issues/bugs we came across.

Cons
We ran into issues with the reader lagging unexpectedly and sometimes completely freezing, requiring us to close and reopen the program. There were also a few features that seemed to be missing from the software. Lastly, we keep getting spammed by email offers to renew with Nitro to this day, even though we've unsubscribed from their emails and have moved on from their software.

The best benefit I get from Nitro is the ability to create and edit PDF files.

Pros
I really like that it can be cheaper than Adobe, and that it does pretty much the same thing that acrobat does.

Cons
I like Adobe's subscription model and Nitro does not have that, to my knowledge. It is really beneficial in a corporate environment to be able to move a subscription around from one user to another.

I saved a lot of money by not having to print things that should be sent again by mail with a simple signature and stamp

Pros
Allows to convert several types of files to PDF, allows you to digitally stamp and sign documents (you must scan it first) , by doing this you are avoiding printing many things, which will save you money and is more ecological, especially in the case where you should print something just to sign it and send it by mail. allows you to create a virtual printer with which you can print digitally in a PDF file any file or image that can be printed physically

Cons
The price is somewhat expensive if you are a single user, but the benefit is that for that price will serve up to 50 licenses and you will have one year of the Cloud service

Pros
The thing that I like the most about Nitro Pro is the price! We have Adobe Creative Suites on the majority of our computers, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on Adobe's PDF program per month on four or five of our other computers that don't have Adobe Suite. Nitro is extremely cheaper than that and isn't a monthly fee. The software is also easy to use--we can edit, sign, and manipulate files using this program the same as we would with Adobe.

Cons
There isn't really a downside to this software at all. It does what we need it to do and works greatly for our business.

Pros

Our switch from Adobe to Nitro was painless. Nitro has all the same plugins, so even when using it with our mail program, it works flawlessly! Of course it has a browser plugin, so when opening PDF files online, it will open them in the browser.

Pros
Cost! Straight and simple, cost is the best thing about Nitro Software. It's only a fraction of the price of it's major competitor, Adobe Acrobat. We were using Adobe, but one of my team members recommended that we try Nitro, as a cost cutting measure. we switched two years ago and haven't looked back. Honestly we have the same functionality as we did with Adobe.

Cons
Nothing major as far a con goes, but I've had the software freeze a few times, but to be honest, Adobe did the same thing! It's never a big deal as it auto saves and you pick up where you left off.

I'm only on the free trial but I expect to be purchasing it as a long term replacement for my current pdf processor.

Pros
The cost of the program is what got me to look into it and it does the same job as it's competitors but for a much lower price which makes this the most "worth it" program on the market.

Cons
There isn't much to complain about as viewing, editing, signing, and converting pdf's is relatively simple and this program is as good as any, if not better.

With this software I have been able to save paper and time by avoiding unnecessary printing, since I can digitally add the signature and stamp of the documents I sent by email

Pros
It is very easy to use, you can convert files from office to pdf in simple steps, you can also add the user's handwritten signature and the company stamp in a digital way, so you can avoid printing the document to sign and seal and then re-digitize it to send it via email. It allows to create a virtual printer to create pdf when printing as does Google Chrome.

I think it should have a price option of one to ten users, since the price is high for a basic user.

Pros
We really like that Nitro was able to give us what Adobe was giving us, at a much better price. We recently have added more employees, and keeping up with the price of Adobe was not working out.
