And the rest I do with MassageBook. There is no other platform for me. I also LOVE that when I have a question, I get a live person on the phone who is patient, knowledgeable, polite and kind.

The best part for me is the option to send out my intake form. It's just very user friendly for my industry.

We can do email marketing memberships it's amazing.

The more services a client has to choose from, the more confusing it can be. I also don't like that you have to opt-out of them marketing to our own clients for us.

The extra charges on the merchant for membership I think it is too much.

I don't like that the Add-on feature will not add TIME to a service. This has been addressed to MassageBook by a lot of therapists, and they have no plans to change it.

I found clients had some trouble navigating the screens. It was easy if it brought you right to a service or provider but searching around and navigating became a bit troubling.

I love that I can call right away and talk to someone or send a quick email and get a response in such a quick time. I’ve had clients with strange request so normally I wouldn’t have to call them because everything’s right there on the website for anything you need to know.

Saved my life

I initially found the interface to be clunky and even occasionally redundant for some of the set up steps. Also when making changes to how I ran my practice. I had to have 3 different, information repeated "profile / locations tabs" for the three types of service I provided. (Out-calls, Main office, and Events) and it didn't transfer the contact or other information between them. This was extremely frustrating. - Although that may have improved in the 5 or 6 years since I last used it. Additionally: I had a point between office locations where I was only providing out calls, and had to delete the other two profile options because there was no option to toggle them off or on.

Disappointed and Underwhelmed

I used this when I was practicing in a room at a Chiropractic Clinic. It helped me book appointments, maintain a schedule, as well as keep up with SOAP notes and other personal info in compliance with HIPAA requirements. I ended up needing a more comprehensive software suite as my practice grew, which was the only reason I changed my software.

I'd say it was pretty good, I liked the features, and the price was pretty reasonable.  The ease of use was around the middle.  Some things were harder than others but I really appreciated it as a single business owner.

When you're marketing your practice, be sure to use the website address we give you under Set Up > Business Details, versus sending clients to massagebook.com (where the marketing fee for FIRST time clients is applied!). This will ensure any new clients coming to your practice are registered as your referrals, and not a MassageBook referral! The intake form is fully customizable, so you can remove the default birthday field and add your own with just the month and date. * It's true - MassageBook is not an accounting solution. You can export financial info to any accounting program though. Payroll services like ADP and Paychex can manage everything payroll inexpensively.

* Having your business included in the MassageBook directory is completely optional. It's there as an option to drive more business to your practice should you wish to receive new clients from this source.

* You seem to have been very happy with our support team, yet your rating doesn't reflect this.  We go to great lengths to support everyone quickly, efficiently - and warmly.

* New feature releases - There's no secret. We just can't promise exactly when a feature will be released by the simple nature of software development - so we don't. But we're happy to share what to expect next from us.

Communication is awful I went to downgrade service and instead of finishing the paid cycle they scaled the features back instantly and I lost all the promotion links that had been sent to clients.

We could do a better job at communicating this is because plans are prorated, and you are credited for your unused days of that plan on your next month's bill accordingly. Very positive.  I’m not very tech savvy so when something goes wrong I depend very heavily on customer support.  The live chat and amazing.  And the follow up to the chat is great.

Love this program, have used since the beginning

Before I was using MassageBook, I was using something called Healer Source, and I was also just putting appointments in my phone, in my calendar. There was a lot of glitches with it. You had to be using it on a computer. You couldn't use it very easily on your phone. You couldn't email your customers the intake forms very easily. You'd have to print them all off or copy and paste them. It just wasn't super user-friendly and there was a lot of extra work added. At the beginning of my massage career in 2018, I jumped on board with MassageBook. Not too long after I was having problems with the other software, MassageBook offered a great introductory rate. Eventually, I moved up to the upper level of top services that they offer, and I've never regretted it.
                                                       I enjoy having online booking options. I can email people the intake form. I can have people pay ahead of time for their appointment. It pretty much runs on autopilot sometimes. I can take my weekends off and it does all the work for me. There's also some great marketing options. I've recommended this software to all of the other massage therapists that I work with, and I just love it. I've been using it since 2018. When I started getting started with MassageBook, you just kind of play around with things, but there's a lot of how tos, there's a lot of support. You can ask support questions on specific things, but it's also very user-friendly for someone who's not even that computer savvy. It's pretty self explanatory and the buttons are nice and big and bright and you can see... Easily accomplish what you're looking to do.
                                                       For anybody who's looking at using MassageBook or even thinking about it, I highly suggest just jump on board. They have a free trial you can do and you will not regret your decision. It keeps everything so much more organized with your business. It gives you a jump start on getting more people in the door. It's just an amazing program and I recommend every massage therapist to use it.

Kerron M. :                                            My name is Kerron and I'm a massage therapist. My one to five rating for MassageBook would be about a four.
                                                       Before using MassageBook I did look at a couple other software service providers, but I didn't really like the features that they offered. I was looking for something a little more specific, which I did find with MassageBook.
                                                       The reason I initially chose MassageBook is because it had a lot of the features I was looking for. It had an option for sending out intake forms to clients. It had an option for saving soap notes to each client, and it was a secure, easy, fast way. I also got a discount through AMTA, which is our major insurance provider for massage therapy and they have all sorts of programs and this was one of them that MassageBook actually participates in. And it had a lot of auto campaign features so I can send emails to clients automatically on their birthdays or when they refer clients to me. I also liked that they send me notifications when they add new features. So it had a lot of features that I was looking for.
                                                       The easiest thing to do with MassageBook was set it up. It walks you through every single thing. You just sign in with an account, set up your business name and the hours that you're available. And it's very specific to massage therapy, which makes it really nice. It's not some broad software that you have to customize for massage therapy, it's already done for you. So it makes it really, really easy to actually get it up and running.
                                                       If you're looking at getting MassageBook for your business, some things to consider would be that they have all sorts of automated options, which it's a no brainer, I love it. I do wish they would have some kind of rewards program, like a buy 10, get one free type thing, a punch card or a punch pass. They do have membership options where people can pay monthly and I know a lot of massage businesses do that automatically, but we have the option to set up and prepay for appointments. Clients can pay with their card and you can set up your Square or Stripe account right to your account. So it really is a no brainer. I love it.
