Q. What is talech used for?

talech is an iPad point of sale (POS) system which includes tools for taking orders, managing inventory, processing payments, running promotions, tracking employee hours, taking and managing appointments and timed-service and more. The software is suitable for a range of restaurants and bars - full service restaurants, bars, cafes, casual dining & quick service restaurants, outdoor venues - retail outlets including apparel stores and service businesses such as salons, hairdressers, spas, nail bars, barbers, pet grooming and so many more. talech allows users to manage their inventory in real-time, with the ability to add products and edit costs, prices, and quantities. In retail outlets, barcode labels can be printed and barcodes can be scanned to add items to orders, and product variations can be created for different sizes or colors. For restaurants, talech can connect to multiple printers, allowing users to send orders to kitchen and bar printers. Bills can be split, part-closed and left open for other customers. For services, appointment scheduling is available alongside timed-services, a customer-facing booking website and staff profiles to showcase your services. Across the board, multiple payment types can be accepted, including cash, checks, credit cards, and gift cards. Discounts can be applied to whole orders or individual items when running promotions, with options for dollar value and percentage discounts, and users can view a detailed breakdown of the discounts applied across all orders. Detailed reports give users insight into sales, transactions, top-selling products, and employee performance, allowing the identification of patterns or trends. Daily summaries are also generated at the end of every day. talech includes an integrated time clock, which allows employees to click in and out at the POS and generates timesheet reports, enabling users to track the hours worked. Employee permissions can be used to control who is given access to the cash drawer, and users can track all transactions including pay-ins, payouts, and drops.
