Apptivo has greatly improved our efficiency with the company and has helped streamline our production and customer contacts at an affordable price.
The pricing is per user, broadening the base of potential organizations who will find Apptivo appealing from the outset, and scaling as the organization grows larger.
What I didn't really like is that for roughly the same annual price per single licence compared to Salesforce was in Apptivo limits the account to a single user. If you have more than one person who handles customer service, marketing, invoicing etc, the cost is a lot more.

Working on improving integration to be more POS-like; critical for us to have a great customer experience when we engage with a customer using our mobile tablets. Current integration unable to use card reader for payment and no option for customer to enter tips. Payment integration more e-commerce focused than virtual POS. Hoping customization can be done to achieve a quality POS-interface in the field. Apptivo feels than can accomplish this integration, but we haven't started that project as yet.

Pros
We have not yet fully deployed the program, but to date our experience with the flexibility and ease of customization of the program seems to be outstanding.
We did not have to make our business fit their software, they fit Apptivo to our business. The Apptivo team is still available to help, so service is excellent.
We really appreciate his help and professionalism. As well, another team member at Apptivo designed a background to go with our emails to clients that was very impressive and visually appealing.
Cons
The standard sales conversion is not automatically available, you have to customize it. Reporting has errors and gives "not enough data" and no one can seem to figure out why.
Can be difficult to navigate if unfamiliar. Can be difficult to customize if unfamiliar.
It could be more intuitive. At the beginning of using i was quite confused.
