I've been using Google Workspace pretty much since it launched, sorry, forgot what it was called then, G Suit most likely. It's a flawless service for its money, including ( probably ) the best mail server of the day. I use it as my own domain and for corporate client solutions and except for usage bills, you won't have a bad experience with it.
To fully understand all the benefits of Google Workspace, you should ideally set up your own mail server at least once and understand how much work Google engineers have done to ‘package’ this product. And while there are many more products in the Workspace suite, you'll mostly be using Gmail and GDrive. The admin panel is well thought out and there are a lot of settings ‘under the hood’. You can leave it untouched and everything will work right away, or you can go inside and fine tune everything. But you can also mess things up. But! It would not be Google if there was no technical support. One time, but I messed with my mail settings and it stopped sending. I wrote to support, they called me back and together we fixed it.
Like any other cloud solution this is fine as long as you are using 10-500 accounts. Once the number of active accounts increases significantly, the monthly mail server bill may not be the most pleasant. Also, surprisingly, using Google mail servers doesn't guarantee that your email won't be blocked by a spam filter. But this is hardly a problem with Google Workspace. All these SPF, DKIM and other SPAM blocking technologies are only good if both sender and recipient have configured them.

overall working with google workspace is mostly positive . most tools are user friendly for beginners. google workspace allows for seamless integration . there is also reliable cloud storage possibility.
google workspace includes all google products, these products are collaborative with each other .making it easy to work as a team .all apps are easily accessible from any device .I am intrigued by the level of security google provides for each app . example two factor authentication.
Some Apps can be costly as there is an ongoing subscription to access some of these app, this really does add up over time .also there are some app that are free like Gmail but there is limited storage . For you to access more space it means more money. There is a lack of some formatting options as opposed to some other software . overall it get the job done .

File sharing, accessibility rules, versioning is very strong; but navigating between operating systems and the browser based makes for a frustrating experience, especially if you're on a PC.
As long as you have an email address and password, you have access to everything you need. It's easy to collaborate with anyone, anywhere.
If your team uses both PCs and Macs, PCs are at a huge disadvantage. The google drive app is clunky and tedious to use. While they have slides/sheets/mail, it's just no comparison to the MS Office suite. The user experience is appalling when it comes to tools and streamlining work.

Overall my experience with Google Workspace has been great. The services and features are in line iwth what I need to complete projects.
I use google workspace every day for emails, creating documents and spreadsheets. It is the best and most user friendly platform I have used for these types of projects.
The features are starting to fall behind and it hasn't modernized its look.

Real-time collaboration with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, allowing multiple users. Seamless integration across tools like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive. Strong security features like two-step verification and data.
While Google Drive offers significant cloud storage, the free storage can quickly fill up, especially with businesses handling large files. Upgrading to higher storage tiers can become costly over time.

Google Classroom improved our university's online learning setup by making collaboration between students and teachers easier. Its integration with other Google tools helped us create more interactive and engaging course materials. The automated assignment and grading features saved professors a lot of time, letting them focus more on individual student engagement.
Google Classroom's easy-to-use interface has greatly cut down the time I spend on admin tasks like handing out assignments and keeping track of submissions, giving me more time to focus on teaching and mentoring students. The mobile access has also been a big help, allowing students to join discussions and submit their work from anywhere, which has been especially useful for our non-traditional and commuter students.
Google Classroom is great for typical courses, but it may not be as flexible for unconventional teaching methods or specialized subjects that need specific tools or software not easily integrated with Google. Overall, I would recommend Google workspace to anyone who wants a good tool to help with team collaboration
Google workspace really made it easy to collaborate and I did enjoy it more than Microsoft teams
I had an issue where it kept signing me out of my account and it was becoming difficult when I was trying to schedule meetings that were close together

I use Google Workspace to control multiple email accounts, due to the different functions in my job. I can't imagine doing the same thing with paper mail and physical filing cabinets. When I need to find something, it's easy to find and continue with whatever needs to be done with that item.
I've been using the product (even though the name has changed) for about ten years. The different functions are readily available on sidebars or in menus and are easy to find and consistent, as to their placement and descriptive icons. Now, as I discover new ways to use different features, it makes noticeable improvements in my productivity, particularly, in being able to control exactly, how my email works, as far as organization, placement, specific filters, etc.
It would be nice if the archiving function worked differently. If we could sort by several parameters and move all of the results to a specific archive folder, that would not be part of the original email account.

My overall experience with Google Workspace has been very positive. The seamless integration across the suite, combined with powerful collaboration tools and syncing capabilities, makes it an excellent choice for both individual and team projects. The AI tools in Google Sheets and the ability to work seamlessly with Google Calendar further enhance productivity. Despite a few minor drawbacks, Google Workspace has become an essential part of my workflow.
What I like most about Google Workspace is how intuitive and user-friendly it is, making the transition from Microsoft Office to Google Docs and Google Sheets incredibly smooth. The integration with Google Drive is outstanding, allowing all my files to be easily accessible and shareable across the platform. I also appreciate the AI assistance in Google Sheets, which streamlines data handling and analysis. The ability to sync everything with Google Calendar and collaborate in real-time with colleagues is a significant advantage, enhancing productivity and teamwork.
The downside is that sometimes there are formatting issues when importing files from other platforms, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, the customization options for headers, footers, and some document settings are somewhat limited compared to other software. These are minor issues, though, considering the overall functionality.

Love it, have all the basics and more, plus more integrations than I know what to do with. A great way to streamline work
The amount of applications Google workspace offers is incredible. Not only do you get the standard email, writing, presentation, and excel type of programs you also can take advantage of several others that are incredible for business. The ability to use google voice, analytics, gemini, etc is incredible.
Not a con, more of a personal anecdote, I wish I knew the basics behind all of what Google workspace offers so I knew what I had available to me that maybe I wasn't taking advantage of. A demo or short explanation of each tool would be great.

In overall, I especially loved Google Workspace's comprehensive security measures and uptime tracking, which provided me with the piece of mind that my data is secure and that its services can be relied upon.
Google Workspace offers all of the productivity tools that are need on a day-to-day basis and includes them all. The adoption of several applications like as Sheet, Drive, and Calendar, amongst others, has significantly simplified team collaboration. The best feature is that it has a simple user interface, which makes it appealing and simple to use.
In my experience using Google Workspace, I have not encountered anything that I would consider to be a negative aspect of the platform. They can make improvements to Google Meet so that it is easier to use.

Google workspace has been instrumental in setting up my business. It has allowed me to work with people within and outside my organisation, and maintain a system of file management and basic project management. It also helps you come across as more professional.
I like the fact that it's not pricey, has excellent and non clunky UI/UX and has a minimal learning curve. I've been able to onboard team members and set up their workspaces with ease, and I do find Google sheets and docs a lot more collaborative than Microsoft Word. Overall- I'll highly recommend trying them out.
I do wish they provided some additional storage! Otherwise I've had a very smooth experience with them. I also found their customer service to be a little slow in responding.

It's a great experience and I highly recommended for organizations.
The feature that my team and I love the most is fluidity. The main reason is that you can be on any device and you have access to the same features which it really becomes handy with team members on the move.
Storage limitations - UpgradeableShare-ability for external users which in some way make sense keeping all files and information secure within the organization and having external providers and services it just add a few more steps.

Collaboration, communication, and organization have all improved tremendously since we implemented Google Workspace. All of our team's files are stored in Google Drive and can easily be linked in emails or using Google Spaces. Our calendar manages the bookings in every room in our building as well as all the team's calendars and we can see who and what's available and when very easily. The tasks feature let's us set deadlines and assign projects to specific team members. Almost all of our communication headaches have been addressed by Google Workspace.
As a small nonprofit with a lot of moving parts and every team member doing a large variety of tasks, we struggled a lot with communication and collaboration. We heard about Google for Nonprofits, which provides Google Workspace free-of-charge for qualifying organizations, and it revolutionized our workflow. We had tried other programs like Trello and ClickUp, and while their designs are great, it was hard to get our team to use them as part of their daily work. Google Space provides the same service, but tasks are built directly into the email interface that our team already uses daily. We can now all keep track of responsibilities and projects with a few simple clicks and quick communication has never been easier.
The biggest learning curve came with the admin side of things, because the program is so robust, there is a lot to learn before you really start making use of all the parts. Thankfully, the customer service team is great and Google's knowledge base for nearly any issue you can think of made sure we were never hung up on anything for too long.

My overall impression is I enjoy Google Workspace and for the project I use and my collaborating team have no problems with communication and we enjoy the vault where we all can gain access and work at our own pace.Mostly I love being able to incorporate my childs school into my calendar and I can receive updates and work that needs more attention,so no part of my life suffers. It depends on the tools and the designing techniques you require. It has everything you need for work and home life.
With Google Workspace you are getting quality and quantity. You get Gmail, chat, meet,Calendar,Drive (for storage )Docs,Sheets,Slides,Forms and there is a site to do collaberations with other members of your group as well as a vault to use between your collaberators. Its fully facilitated so you can take it where ever you go and use it in real time and send Emails to anyone anywhere in the world. You can...
To be able to use the collaboration tools each recipient must be a google account holder, which is not hard to do,but it depends on the recipients abilities and what system they embrace. As for your childs school work, there is no desktop for productivity and there are less document task features. This workspace is just serving the basic functions, they do not have advanced features like you would find on microsoft 360 ,So if you work on design projects the upgrades can get expensive.I find it is not suited for a large buisness,so another program is needed.

Google Suite is a great solution. Probably it is one of the best collaborative sites. It makes communication, sharing, and coworking super easy. I never have to worry about losing any files or information because G suite has my back!
I used G Suite for university purposes, but when I realized it is similarly helpful in work setting - it became my favorite tool. I would use Google Docs to document my learnings and work on my assignments and then I would switch to work account and use the same tools to produce valuable work. I am in love with the Google Meetings and Calendar feature and seeing how busy are others based on their schedule....
One of the negative parts is for sure - the difficulty to remove many documents at a time. Support team can be considered average. Small note: When replying to an email from a long thread, I need to type the response which is located at the bottom of the long chain of previous emails. It might waste time in urgent situations by requiring a lot of scrolling. In order to use it - an internet connection is needed even though many features are crucial. Google Sheets don't have so many features compared to Microsoft Excel.

(see below) other than that it is perfect, really. and the price is great. love the mobile apps for android and ios. amazing. not many people know g suite is hipaa compliant, that is, if you have google sign a BAA with your company. this is great.
i wish you could search WITHIN documents on your computer. in order to do this, you need to go to the web interface. you can only search by file names, etc. on your computer.

I set it up in my business and is very easy to configure it all and have a good way to administrate all the resources and accounts, the domain set up was very easy and this never have downtime, it's always working as gmail, this is a really good product.
Easy to use, perfect design and Customer Service, perfect integration with all the Google Ecosystem.
Price (this software is a little bit expensive). The prices start from $6.00 per user and are not too expensive if you have some users but in our company (up to 50) it turns a little bit expensive.

We have managed everything in the Google ecosystem for so long and with so much ease that it took away the worries and problems of mantaining a server and investing in infraestructure for a business with not so many employees, but with productivity software needs too. We can rest assured that Google will work 99,9999% of the time without putting in risk our data and connectivity.
The fact that it's all cloud based is what makes GSuite the perfect solution for businesses of all sizes. Starting with Gmail (everyone's used to this service) and having really competent alternatives to Microsoft Office products makes this a dream. It's also cheap enough and scalable on the pricing side. They've got all covered for sure.
It's hard to find a con on an almost perfect service, but sometimes they take a long time to update the iOS apps with their latest features, something that in Android doesn't happen, of course. Also, the Google Drive app for macOS needs some more work to be up to their standards.

G suite has really simplified on-boarding people, both because it works well with everything and because it's easier to start using than desktop software like open-office or libre office. Generally speaking, even folks who haven't used it before find it easier to use than other office suites. For people who are really accomplished in something like ms-office, there might be some annoyances...
So much capabilities for the price. G suite does a lot, but it doesn't try to do everything. What is does is done incredibly well, very easy to use, good user-experience even for first-time users. Learning curve is so short for most features, it's easy to get started and easy to keep adding skills. Good support for open standards and multiple document and output formats (including raw like json/csv). Large community makes it easy to find examples for most things you'd want to attempt.
G suite is great about Pareto optimization- it does most things really well. What it doesn't do well is noticeable. Usually can be accomplished via another way that it does better. For example to take full advantage of suite, you often need to learn/consider the google/g-suite way of accomplishing. Which once you get in the mindset is easier, it's a do more with less mindset. There are situations...

Overall, G-Suite is a great tool for productivity and collaboration. The pros far outweigh the cons.
-Cloud based: Can use in the office or remote. Works on multiple devices and syncs seamlessly -Ease of use: Most apps are initiative and feel familiar, especially if you've used the Microsoft Office suite in the past. -Scalability: Allows a company to grow their team with ease. -Google ecosystem - great if you already have a gmail account, Android, or any other Google products. -Versatile: G-Suite can replace multiple applications. Office Suite and file storage, just to name a couple.
Slow load times: I'm often surprised how long the "Working..." text lingers before everything loads. You'd think Google's servers would be powerful enough to load documents and spreadsheets nearly instant. I've noticed this issue on multiple devices. Desire to convert. I wish G-Suite did a better job of viewing Microsoft files nativity. You can technically view them I always feel the need to convert to a G-Suite file to get the most use. And then I'm stuck with 2 file types. Not great for transferring documents to a Microsoft user back and forth. There could be improvement here.

Extremely positive! Grateful that G Suite was developed!
Long gone are the days when teachers had to make hundreds of copies, keeping filing cabinets full of documents, worry about a dog eating the homework, worry about a computer shutting down and not saving something, and struggle to collaborate with peers. G Suite is an educator's dream come true! Here's why I love it from a teacher's perspective: - It moves all of your software tools to the cloud,...
My only con (and this isn't really a con, more of a concern) is that your creativity potential is limited by how much cloud storage you have. Everything you create or build uses space - so make sure you have enough. Different than the hard drive era of years ago also is the fact that you will have to continue to pay for this cloud space - you can't just buy a hard drive (one time fee) and store your items with G Suite. Hopefully, though, your district or school system purchases access to this for you as a part of your employment.
