Yodel is a cloud-based business phone system designed to help teams manage inbound and outbound calls via Slack using existing phone numbers. It lets customer service representatives view which members are on active calls, and join conference calls to facilitate communication across the organization.

The platform enables organizations to route callers to suitable executives, ensuring efficiency in providing customer service. Users can add descriptions to calls using customizable tags in order to streamline searching and sorting of categorized calls.

Yodel’s browser extension functionality adds call buttons to websites, allowing businesses to receive calls from clients without disclosing phone numbers. The phone system offers international phone numbers, toll-free numbers, music on hold, ring groups, and warm transfer. Yodel also lets businesses receive user-based notifications about incoming calls, which can be forwarded to staff members based on customer requirements. Teams can add notes about active calls and share information with members in order to facilitate collaboration. The dashboard provides visibility into call data, enabling enterprises to generate reports and block numbers as per individual preferences.
