I have been user of iContact Email marketing software used to send my daily newsletters. The speed of delivery and inbox rate is good here but we should take care of out list. If our list contains hards, spammers there is a chance of blocking our account. Customer support is way good comparing with others in the market.

Pros
As an email marketer the Quality of iContact Email Marketing software is awesome. No need to worry about inbox rate unless our list is bad. Inbox rate and delivery of campaign is good.

Cons
Pricing is least thing i don't like here. There are good alternatives available for lower price if we consider low cost softwares.

Low price for what's included.

Pros
It's easy to set up a template or reuse a previous message if you're sending out something similar on a regular basis.

Cons
Contact management is difficult to use, especially compared to similar services. In addition, you get the warning notification that you're nearing your limit when you've only used 50% of your allotted contacts for your tier.

The price. If I were running my own business, I would search out a cheaper solution. It delivers, but I just wish it wasn't so costly.

Pros
I also use MailChimp and find iContact's editing and email preview features to be superior. Also my email designs seem to look better when received if I created in iContact instead of MailChimp. I use both, depending on the client.

Cons
Could be less expensive for low end users? Perhaps adopt a 'freemium' pricing model? When it's a small client it's hard to justify the expense, even though it's better.

iContact is great in terms of features, customer support, and ease of use. If you can afford it, go for it. It will eventually pay off.

Pros
I have been using iContact for over 3 years now and never had any major issues with them. Email marketing gets a whole lot easier with iContact's features and amazing tools. The best thing about iContact is the ease of use. You can get started without any training. They have kept things simple, user-friendly, and their interface is top-notch. Drag-and-drop builder is another reason why its hard to switch to other email marketing services. I have tried drag-and-drop email builders of other email marketing services as well (GetResponse, MailChimpl, Mailerlite, etc.) but I personally find iContact the best in the game. Subscriber management and ability to segment subscribers based on multiple variables is another advantage that has always helped me in understanding my subscribers and sending them relevant emails.

Cons
My only concern is price. It is expensive as compared to other email marketing services. Additionally, they don't have any free plan. Most of their competitors have like MailChimp and mailerlite.

No one to speak with, low deliverability, inferior tech when compared to other competitors with the same price point.

Nothing, i wasted time and money testing with them

Cons
They tried to steal another month of billing and made me dispute with my CC company. Horrible customer service. They also have really low deliverability, I guess that's why they need to keep the extra month of billing.

Overall my experience with iContact was very positive. I even learned about iContacts young founder via an awesome slide show he created with 1285 slides sharing "lessons from my 20s"where he shared a ton of value. I highly recommend looking that up.

Pros
What I liked most about iContact are the form templates, which are an essential ingredient to growing a healthy email list. Specifically I used a template for a client in the real estate niche that he was quite happy with.

Cons
What I like least about the tool is the price point. For my client who has a very small list the price was an issue for him and a robust free plan offering would have helped me retain my client for a longer period of time.

Takes minutes to set up and is very cheap for what it offers! I was able to create a new account and send emails to clients the same day.

Ultimately ended up switching to ConstantContact.

Pros
Easy to navigate, sent emails out easily, and was able to generate reports good enough. Cost was affordable.

Cons
Templates were glitchy, and not very appealing. They were just ok looking. Lacked ability to customize as much as I wanted to.

Good overall, but we needed to have more emails sent out monthly to justify the cost.

Pros
We really liked how we were able to easily integrate custom html designs into an email format using iContact. It allowed us to have beautiful unique emails for our clients.

Cons
Pricing was primarily our main issue, it became costly when we only sent one email per month. Other email softwares charged by the email and number of recipients, iContact charged a subscription fee, so it made it more costly.

I like the amount of storage we have for images and contacts and I like the amount of emails we can send per month. Also the update is more streamlined with better looking email templates.

Cons
When I want to edit the email templates, it can often look clunky and out of place. I wish they were more customizable as far as adding more personal aspects i.e. logos, picture, color schemes, etc. Often times I like the bones of the email template, but I want to make it match our company's branding.

It's pretty easy to use and you don't need to have technical knowledge. It also comes with various templates you an use to get started. Unlike big email marketing software tools, it doesn't cost nearly as much.

Cons
The templates are not the greatest and eventually your emails just look like template emails. It's also not the best UI. Other similar platforms too, offer better pricing for some of the basic features that they offer.

It keeps us in touch with our clients with ease and for a good price.

Pros
The customer service. It is always excellent and they go above and beyond to help. Day/Evening whatever, I've gotten great service. I use them for my employer for over 5 years, but I was also volunteering for a small non-profit group that had a tiny budget. Their salesperson was fantastic setting us up with what we needed for little money, and thinking about what we might need for the future. I was really impressed. When I have had questions or the rare problem they helped right away, either on chat or the phone.

Cons
Perhaps they might not be as fancy as other companies, but redesigning our newsletters isn't something we do often, so we might not be taking advantage of all the new stuff they have put in place.
