Super easy to get to understand how it works. Great pricing for a single user in my opinion.
Its a great online tool to sign up contracts which saves both time and money. Especially during the pandemic, I have been signed lot of documents and was surprised with the ease of using the tool.

Don't Take The Cheap Alternatives

Reviewed 22 days ago

We know we can count on DocuSign and the quality of their brand. We have just recently upgraded our contract for more security and features. Love the product

Pros

DocuSign is the industry standard in e-signatures. There are many companies that offer similar products, but when it comes to client name recognition, client confidence and ease of use, paying a little more is well worth it.

Cons

Because DocuSign is head and shoulders above the others they expect to be compensated for their products. I don't mind paying for quality products but the add on Customer Service fee of almost $100 seems a bit steep.

Not a great product for small non-profit credit unions

Reviewed a month ago

Unfortunately the sales department kept trying to sell us upgrades that we didn't need. Ultimately we left and went with Foxit Esign and saved over $1200 per year and have the exact same authentication capability.

Pros

Docusign was very user friendly, when we used it.

Cons

To expensive for a small federal credit union that needed authentication.

The Original & Best Cloud + E-Signature Platform!

Reviewed a month ago

Overall I really haven't had anything to complain about with DocuSign! I've been using it for about 2 years or so and it has definitely made things easier when it comes to having documents signed. Previously we had still been doing everything by hand, but for obvious reasons, more electronic signatures have become a necessity in recent times. I didn't have a hard time learning the platform, even though I'm not a daily user. I probably need a contract signed once a week or so, and thankfully they have a good plan for me for how often I use it. Highly recommended if you need any type of contract or documents signed on a consistent basis!

Pros

Mostly with Docusign I like how simple the layout is! It's super easy to save documents and have them ready for signature within minutes. It's also nice that it saves your signed contracts on the platform so you always have them for reference. You can work from templates and edit contracts on the spot and have your contracts signed by clients or other 3rd parties within minutes!

Cons

The only thing I would say is that it's not the cheapest software out there. The more contracts you need signed, the more it costs. While it's definitely very reasonable in the end, I do wish it was just a tad cheaper even.

Bridging the Gap Between a Traditional and a Modern Workplace

Reviewed a year ago

When I was hired on, one of my primary tasks was to develop a way to take four separate facilities with their own unique filing systems and their own administrative procedures that were rooted business practices from the 1960s, and transform them into a single company run from a centralized office with all data storage to be accomplished via the cloud. We designed the infrastructures of the various...

Pros

When I took the position of Clinical Director at this inpatient substance abuse treatment facility, I was presented with the unenviable task of taking four separate and distinct facilities--located across three counties--and streamlining their processes, allowing all executive and administrative functions to be handled at a single office. Near the very top of my list of potential hurdles was deploying...

Cons

I firmly believe that for organizations that are currently using some sort of digital file management system, there would be absolutely no difficulty in integrating DocuSign with their current business practices. Our company was at a disadvantage initially because we were not only implementing DocuSign but also making a full transition from traditional filing cabinets and folders to a cloud based system. Attempting to determine the best and most efficient ways to integrate DocuSign with the other software we were simultaneously rolling out was a challenge. Luckily, DocuSign had ready-made instructions that walked us through the implementation step by step.

Digital Transformation starts with electronic Signature.

Reviewed a year ago

It is good to very good. I think it is too expensive. The version I use does not have the full feature, which is even more expensive. I do respect the Value provided due to the time savings and ease of doing business but overall, it should have been at least been cheaper.

Pros

As the one who loads contract and documents for signoff in my organisation this has been easiest system to work with - Drag and drop my contract and other document. 2. Enter a name of party and if this name was already entered, then the address book pops in the email address. 3. Set the order for sign off, and wait for users to get their notifications. Docusign has moved my process from 3 week to...

Cons

The initial email goes to Junk. (BIG ISSUE) when I am dealing with a new client, who has never had a docusign email from me. In this case, I always have to call clients to take a look into their Junk mail. A challenge that I face with this platform is with the address book, if you user enters incorrect name or email for a signature party, the system does not have a way to correct this error, you just have to make a new duplicate contact, which sometime cause confusion when you are trying to find a specific user. The example John Public - email: Jpublic@hmc.net if this is entered as John Public email: Jpubli@hmcc.net - then both records are kept in the address book, which can causes confusion going forward.

DocuSign-Good, but other options on the market

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, my experience with DocuSign as a solo was ok. It's an investment and there are other aps that can do the job for less or even free. My experience using it as a corporate tool for over 150 outside sales people was really good. It allowed us to provide an option to everyone and have a standard. Plus, it did incorporate with our contact generating and submitting program. That was very helpful! So, if you are looking for an enterprise wide options, DocuSign is a great product to consider. If you are a small business or solo, it might be overkill for you.

Pros

DocuSign is a great product. It has a lot of awesome features and makes signing contacts for outside sales people very easy. It also integrates with some CRM systems. We used it at my previous company and I helped to push the company adoption of the product. I had been using it and other programs/aps to allow my clients to sign a contract on my iPad, iPhone or their own smart phone/device. This saved a TON of time because there was no printing of paper and also no scanning of paper. I could turn around and email the contact right into the company!

Cons

DocuSign is more costly than other options and I did not use the paid version long before the company partnered with them to allow all outside sales to use it. There are less expensive and free aps out there that work as well for the basic features of signing a document from a smart device or touchscreen. DocuSign can also get complicated with a signature set up feature that takes a lot of time and is actually not necessary ... but you don't know that right away.

We're saving so many trees!

Reviewed a year ago

Overall we are very pleased with DocuSign. We have reduced our paper and printing cost by $$$ and increased control over our subcontracts. A simple report shows us everything that is outstanding and when it was sent so follow-up is a breeze. Some of our Subcontractors are a little intimidated by it at first, but once they are onboard we have no complaints. They love getting the fully executed contract back as soon as its signed.

Pros

Getting contracts signed and back to us is significantly faster, most within 48 hours. No postage, no waiting for it to be returned via mail, and the ability to see the entire history of the document from the time it was sent to completion. I feel like we have a much better handle on outstanding contracts now. The preset reminders help also, as it keeps the document at the top of the recipients inbox.

Cons

I wish we had the ability to customize reminders by document, rather than one setting for the entire account. Figuring out how Shared Folders work has been a bit of a challenge. We have used this software for over 2 years now, and in that time I only reached one support person that I felt truly understood our industry, and therefore my question. The first two reps we dealt with for training were either not prepared at all, had zero knowledge of the construction industry and how contracts work, or both. Having a better trained staff to get set up would have saved us alot of time with trial and error learning.

Docusign Is the PERFECT software for folks who need electronic signatures.

Reviewed 9 months ago

We work with students who need to have their hours varified by themselves, their practicum sites, and their instructors. This is an easy way to get electronic signatures on those forms rather than them bringing them around for everyone's signature.

Pros

Docusign is awesome for a number of reasons. The reminders are customizable. We work with students and it's easy to pester them until we get our signature! It was the most affordable option for accruing official signatures (Trust me I LOOKED AROUND!) It is easy to so send around get signatures quickly! I highly recommend the use of templates. This has made it SO easy to upload a document and automatically have the signature lines in the places that we need. Then it is easy to just hit send and have it sent to whoever needs to sign. Its also easy to integrate with google drive, saves copies automatically, which is SO nice!

Cons

We have had some issues with the templates. For some reason, the software is very picky on the format of the dates. We keep getting a weird glitch that only allows 7 spaces in a signature (which is only an issue in double digit months and days). Luckily for us, we can just tell our signees to put in a 1 for the day. Customer service wasn't able to find a solution for it either.

Pros

Fast and reliable signature software. Can prepare and send documents/contracts for others to sign and place ‘sign here’ tab to making signing easy and efficient. It definitely eliminates the hassle of having to print, sign and then scan and return a document. I love that it sends reminders to persons whose signatures are required and you are notified when a document has been signed. It’s mobile friendly,...

Cons

Placing the signature in the respective spot can be difficult. The software was purchased by the company, so it was inexpensive for me, but for others who have to actually pay for it themselves, it may be a bit on the expensive side, especially depending on the size of the company - may be more expensive for smaller sized companies. It needs recipient authentication which could be a bit counterproductive. The signatures can be forged easily.

Helps save time and paper

Reviewed 2 months ago

This experience did not leave me drastically impressed or dissatisfied. It was okay. Docusign saved time, paper products and storage.

Pros

This is something that helps people who would otherwise be spending hours on a fax machine or having clients come in. This makes working from home and no contact signing possible as well. Design documents to fit the content and context. A variety of signature style selections add an element of fun and customization. This is secure and provides authentication.

Cons

It’s true that end users have difficulty signing without an account. It is possible but extra steps are needed and cause inconvenience. This is expensive yet presents no additional incentive or benefit.

A great time & resource saver for businesses and professionals looking to improve productivity

Reviewed a year ago

The fact that DocuSign saves time, cost, & the environment - all at the same time is spot on. The holistic experience that I had and continue to have with DocuSign is absolutely incredible since we save a lot of time and improve productivity using the software to sign our legal & start-up documents, especially at a time when we are raising external investment and onboarding new customers.

Pros

DocuSign is accelerating the switch to digital work culture and being a business with environmental protection goals, the fact that using DocuSign removes the need for printing, scanning or faxing papers is the big selling point. Plus, the ease of use in different platforms from phones to tablets to PCs works great when you have a team that is spread across and is on the constant move. What was great was the opportunity to get a free trial without having to provide credit card details - this allowed us to make a much more of a rational judgement.

Cons

Understandably, the reality of the digital signature is very low when compared to physically signed ones and I hope the realism will set in as technology progresses. In my opinion, this is the least likes feature of not just DocuSign, but any e-signature software platform - this could impend the adoption of e-signature due to the concerns of replication of non-realistic looking digital signatures. Audit trails are a great security addition, but the security concerns will remain until industries across & wide including insurance, banking, etc. all adopt & accept digital signatures.

Easy and quick to sign document.

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

I've had no problems utilizing Docusign to complete paperwork that has been submitted to me for business needs. It's always been a straightforward procedure; I receive an email link that directs me to the paper. I may either create my own e-signature using my cursor or enter my name, and it will produce one for me. When you have completed your chosen option to use, the computer will automatically input your signature in the area where you have been requested to sign. It will all be initialed as well.

Cons

It's a bit pricey if you don't use it all the time. Unless you were using this frequently, you shouldn't pay for a membership and using the free account is more than enough. It has many more feature than just a e-signature tools and if you use all the other feature, it justifies the price.

DocuSign = Freedom and Safety

Reviewed 2 years ago

I have used it for both personal and professional use and in every case it has provided me invaluable access and availability to sign or review important documents that if I had to wait until I was back in my "office" would have cost me dearly in both time and money. In the midst of a global pandemic, DocuSign shines as a leader in safe and reliable document management.

Pros

The best thing about DocuSign is the ability to conduct essential business from anywhere in the world and know that it is secure and safe. Being able to add individuals for simple review , signature , or a combination of both is critical for my needs and DocuSign provides me with the flexibility to work in multiple areas of industry and service. The learning curve for simple use is relatively easy and the additional features are not hard to figure out.

Cons

There are a few things that would make this software more user friendly and that would be better 'prompts' or helps when hovering over specific things. More prompts in place reduce confusion to someone you are sending something to or if you are designing a document for signature.

Is your Company going paperless? Then you need DocuSign!

Reviewed 5 years ago

DocuSign is an electronic signature application that enables people to send, sign, and approve documents, materials, and transactions from anywhere and anytime using any device. This revolutionary platform is now the standard of electronic signature in the business world.

Pros

My company transitioned to paperless for all of our hiring needs. Since we transitioned we started using DocuSign for signing documents. The software makes it so easy to obtain signatures, there is no more need to print out forms and manually sign, then scan in. This solution gives you the ability to make any custom fields and change them in an instant. The Templating tool is also incredibly helpful since we often duplicate forms, we can now just plug in the information once and it does the rest for us, very helpful on long contracts. Other users don't need an account to sign which is convenient for our clients, and they automatically get a copy of the completed document, making compliance easy. Highly recommend if you need a secure way to e-sign!

I do not see any strong disadvantages of the product, but there is a range of substitutional products that can do the same functions at a better cost.

Might have been nice if there was a reasonable price point

Reviewed 10 months ago

It was mediocre at best. Between the difficulties experienced by a majority of our end users and the lackluster pricing options, we decided to pursue an alternate route to achieve our digital signature goals.

Pros

It was very user friendly - easy to learn how to use and create forms. As an end-user/recipient, it was incredibly simple to sign documents and ensure they were then sent to the next person that needed to sign them.

Cons

When trying to "sign" a document with the necessary people physically present, it was very difficult to manage the signing-flow (or the order that people would need to sign and review the document). Makes Getting Signatures Easy, Simple During Covid

Reviewed a year ago

We sign contracts, MOAs, and other agreements with Colleges and Universities around the country. Because we capture these, we have been using e-signature software for awhile. We want to be able to not only capture e-signatures but store all contracts in a cloud for easy access and secure storage.

Pros

The ability to capture signatures on contracts, MOAs, and other important documents and be able to verify signatures at the same time. The fact that anyone with any device can complete the signature process makes this easy for all of our clients. The Cloud also makes storing and pulling documents simple and easy.

Cons

Pricing is a little high compared to some other products on the market, and if you don't pay annually it is even more per month. I wish there were some better plans for those whose contract time varies depending on the full year. We don't use it enough for the yearly plan but the monthly plan ends up being more than some alternative options for us.

Making signing legal documents a piece of cake!

Reviewed 3 years ago

DocuSign has allowed me to send and receive signed contracts and other documents in a seamless, rapid way. I have concluded agreements in a more efficient way thanks to this tool. It has also allowed to sign things without the hassle of other applications, like pasting my signature into Adobe forms or otherwise inserting my signature from a saved image. This is a huge time and energy saver.

Pros

Using DocuSign allows me to sign and have others sign documents in a legal, efficient way with very little hassle. DocuSign means there is no printing involved, and no scanning in of signatures required, either. This means contracts get returned much faster than if DocuSign wasn't involved in the process and a pen and paper signature and mailing were involved. The interface is nicely done and it's easy to track who has signed what. It's also a very secure platform to use for sensitive information.

Cons

The pricing! It would be nice if there were a free version for people who don't have a regular use for it, and I think the prices could be more affordable. It does offer a lot of benefits, though, so if you regularly send out contracts the price is justified.

Good Product

Reviewed a year ago

The overall experience with DocuSign is actually quite good. We would continue to use it and recommend it to others because there are not a lot of other types of programs that do as much for the price.

Pros

Using DocuSign has helped our company make it easier to sign documents for applicants and full on leasing documents. It makes it so that people do not have to come into the office every time that we need a signature. They sign it when they have time in the comfort of their own home or on the go. It makes it easy to also track the progress of the document and if all parties have signed it or who specifically we are waiting on a signature from. The customizable features do help as well, although sometimes they are harder to figure out.

Cons

The ability to customize the document and make it so that people can only sign in one spot and fill out the rest afterwards. It can be difficult to make it work they way we need it to and time consuming to get it right. It is not the easiest feature to use and sometimes not that user friendly unless you know your way around computer and applications well. Sometimes the storage is not enough as well. We send a lot of documents with our business and it makes it hard when the storage is not able to keep up with us and we have to go through and delete older documents; it is time consuming.

"Exceptionally Efficient Tool!"

Reviewed 8 months ago

The general involvement in DocuSign has been extraordinary. It is by a long shot the best advanced marking programming we've utilized. Usability, can make own layout, add or change things on archives and bunches of customization accessible. No extra character confirmation necessity for the underwriters other than email address

Pros

You can deal with various and consecutive beneficiaries. This element permits you to focus on numerous customers simultaneously, with only one activity. Full history and review trail declaration is accessible. Disconnected sending and virtually endorsing is a major in addition to. Labeling framework can assist you with showing beneficiaries where they need to sign the record.

Cons

The greatest burden of DocuSign, when contrasted with other electronic mark programming, is that the interaction requires beneficiary's confirmation. The beneficiary can confirm his/hers character by means of telephone or RSA ID check. Both expense extra. Programming is a bit expensive contrasted with comparative items available. You need to pay for local area based help. Email, visit, and telephone backing will cost you additional cash.
