I manage facilities use/rental/internal scheduling for the 12 buildings in our public school district. Without FMX this would be a much more difficult task. I love that I can have a visual calendar of the entire district and "dummy it down" to just the exact information that I am looking for by using the filters. Being able to reference an event by a specific event number is essential and the online payment tracking is helpful as well, though it does have some limitations. My community members and staff members have found the system very user-friendly and I'm happy to report that even the most stubborn of the group have embraced the scheduling system. Color coding of the calendar view makes it easy to determine what needs your attention ASAP and I have found working on the system on a mobile device easy to take care of things on the run. Overall I give FMX 5 stars for ease of use by all users and I find the features and functionality spot on most of the time. Whenever I do have a support concern I always get a very speedy response. Thank you FMX for helping me stay organized with this very daunting task of mine. I don't know how I would do it without you.The color coding of the calendar really helps me stay on top of things. The ability to look things up by event id and the ease of changing events is something I use almost every day. I created a simple one-page tutorial that I send out to all new members and I rarely get a call asking for help on how to use the system.

This FMX solution was an incredible improvement to the old way of doing things. The functions / modules also aligned to my business process better than any other calendar and CMMS reviewed. I had the ability to add fields, create workflow steps, and ensure efficiency without making the process too complex for non-technical staff. FMX assisted me in implementation and data migration from existing system and was able to use several of my recommendations for future improvements. The ability to export or embed the calendar in other sites and tools overcame the final custom printing hurdle. Has been a great tool and transition from our past way of doing business. I have recommended this product to any who ask for a CMMS or Calendar solution.The integration of events calendar with facilities maintenance team activities. The members of our staff can all login and view every event, get assigned task, review procedures, complete procedures, be updated immediately. Web enabled. Easy to navigate. Can add new fields. Administration of users and rights. Mobile friendly. Filters. Search Engine. Color coding by type or status. Auto e-mail alerts.

I am writing to express my satisfaction with Facilities Management Express (FMX). With buildings that total over 300,000 sq.ft. that were built during the depression, my team and I face many challenges in this aging facility. In the past, the method of communicating the facility needs of staff and students has been fairly disorganized, and many times, disjointed. Now that we have implemented the calendar-based, end-user request system that FMX offers, we are much more organized. Everyone that needs to know about a calendar entry is in the loop! FMX has been a huge improvement for me and my team. In it’s simplest form, FMX performs three basic functions. It... - Manages facility and IT maintenance requests - Schedules planned maintenance tasks - Reserves rooms, resources, or equipment The ease of use of this calendar-based system eliminates the need for extensive training. As a matter of fact, I believe that if a person knows how to use a computer, they can use FMX. It is extremely simple. Facility and IT maintenance requests for are a snap for staff and students to enter. Once the requests are in the system, we know instantly. Since FMX is designed for accountability and communication, it has lead to higher end-user satisfaction ratings for my department. FMX also offers students and staff the ability to place schedule requests in their calendar. These requests for rooms, resources, or equipment reside on the calendar, too, and an email is sent to any of the administrative personnel, support personnel, or members of my staff that need to know about that request. This feature helps the approval process and prevents cross-scheduling, since double-booking cannot be accomplished. Everyone in the organization appreciates this function. FMX assists me and my staff in the implementation of planned maintenance tasks. Since we began using FMX, we are now accomplishing more planned maintenance than ever before. My staff is more accountable, and they work more efficiently. The reports that I gather help my department to proactively plan for equipment failures and maximize the life of the school’s equipment investment. I am happy with this facilities management solution because it has gotten everyone at the Josephinum working together. Our students and staff are pleased with this product because they know the status of their own requests, every step of the way... from the beginning of the process to end. I recommend FMX because it is truly a cost-effective solution that simplifies facilities management for any size organization.

FMX is a great product and a great fit for our church and school. Their customer service is outstanding and if they do not have an immediate solution (which they normally do) they will find a solution to fit my need. It is a solution for so many things that we needed and is enabling us to do our jobs better and with less effort. Our staff is still getting used to using the system, but I know once everyone is familiar with it and using it often things will be even more seamless. We were looking for a great product with all the features we wanted but not with the price tag of many researched options. FMX was feature rich but without the expense that most other companies charge. I have even found ways to use FMX that I was not expecting. They are also constantly upgrading and modifying the system to make it better, which I think is awesome. They come out with updates every month in fact, and take your feedback into their daily meetings to discuss possible changes.

The software is incredibly easy to use, and the customization is virtually limitless. Our program simply provided FMX an approximation of what we wanted to do, how we wanted to use the software, they plugged all the information in and we were up and running in no time. Before FMX, we averaged about 45-50 work orders and requests per month, with approximately 7-10 of those being unnecessarily submitted. After FMX, we average 75-80 work orders per month, with each being fundamental to the success of our program, and each being completed in a timely fashion. FMX has organized, simplified, and amplified our facilities productivity.

My first six months with FMX

Experience: We selected FMX after reviewing 6-7 other CMMS alternatives. Our decision was based on 1. ease of start up, 2. allowing requestors to submit an email and NOT log into a system, 3. the drop and drag flexibility on the calendar page which makes it simple to move a request to another day, 4. ease of adding a new request, and 5. a program that is simple to customize and move around in. BUT, there are a couple of things I'm looking forward to FMX fixing. First, the ability to customize the work day length on the calendar setting. Currently it is set up with a 24 hour day and I would like to be able to change the day to fit the needs of my operations. As it is it requires a lot of scrolling and makes it impractical for use or planning. Secondly, when approving or deleting requests there are duplicate buttons to push to complete the transaction. This redundancy is not necessary. Customer Support has been terrific and I'm confident that the issues I have will be resolved in the near future. FMX is a great company that is still growing. The customer service is tremendous, if you have any questions or concerns they are there for you and will find some type of solution for you and your company. The product itself, is extremely user friendly, even for those who may be less tech savvy. The software is simple to use, no other way around it. The every day tasks and agenda is in plain site for all to see.

I initially signed up with FMX after 6 years using a competitors product. I noticed right away that FMX was easier to navigate and had a more intuitive program. In addition, the FMX team welcomes feedback to drive change, the program that we initially signed up with did not include a Purchase Order suite of tools. I told the team that this was a must have!! They promised that they would be able to get something going within the first year and worked with us on an initial design. While the PO program is still lacking a few features that I think would be helpful for us, they delivered on schedule and I know that they are working through the changes that will make it even more valuable. I recommend this program to anyone who expresses any kind of a need for a product of this type.Flexibility for mobile devices

I am in my second full year of using FMX and I love it. I truly believe it has improved my overall functionality. Its a one stop shop for everything I manage. The biggest indicator that it is working is that staff use the system to report problems and see that work is accomplished. This last year we brought on the facility management piece and again FMX hits it out of the park. Super user friendly and when you do have problems the help desk is fantastic. Thank you!! User friendly and very functional for day to day use.

We have been using FMX for almost a year and the results are already showing. There is less stress in my day, and in turn, I see a big difference in attitude of my maintenance staff and accountability for us all. Our communication is much better, we know what events, projects, and work orders are coming up and we are not missing certain details that we were before. We have a much better understanding of each other and a new outlook on prioritizing and planning for the day to day activities for our recreation facility. All staff are on the same page and effective planning has taken on a new meaning. Communication amongst staff has improved, productivity and results are evident, and the FMX program is easy to use. FMX customer service and their staff is with you every step of the way and is there to answer every question.

As a mechanical contractor we were looking for a simple system that would schedule and log preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as well as provide a collaborative means to receive maintenance requests. We also wanted to assign the maintenance request to the appropriate technician. We looked at several different solutions and found FMX. FMX was exactly what were we looking for. The pricing was very straight forward and affordable. There is no software to load, all updates are automatic, the system is always up and running, and it is very simple to use. The QR codes for each piece of equipment allow our technicians to view the maintenance log of any piece of equipment in the field, and execute the PM tasks in the field with their smart phone. The maintenance request feature is simple and allows us to respond to our customers quickly and easily. The PM log has been invaluable when dealing with warranty issues on equipment. The calendar interface and the email notifications make the entire process extremely easy to use and very efficient. The beauty of the FMX software is the collaborative method used to input the maintenance request. Using the FMX has eliminated the need for us to have an office administrator who would receive maintenance requests and dispatch a technician. The calendar and email notification allows all of our technicians to work together to take care of our customers. This has been a huge benefit when one our technicians are out sick or on vacation. Without a doubt, FMX has improved our customer satisfaction, and made our technicians more efficient in responding to maintenance requests and handling PM tasks. FMX customer support was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend FMX to any contractor offering customer service, or to a building owner looking for a simple and highly efficient tool to perform facilities management.

My experience with FMX has been refreshing and a completely positive experience. We try not to have vendors, we prefer partners and that is exactly what FMX has brought to us, a partnership. First, their style of communication is to listen to the customer and then help the customer to meet their needs. I feel as if FMX has customize their product to meet every need and want we have requested from them. The maintenance module has improved our efficiency, the automation module has saved us in the thousands per month in utilities cost and the calendar module is so simple to use. We researched several companies who would or could offer these services and FMX was the only one who met our needs and wants at a very affordable price. Anyone of the FMX modules will save you time and money, especially the calendar and automation module. The FMX Team is professional, knowledgeable and just enjoyable to work beside as a partner. It does more than advertised and expected. The FMX Team is a true partner

We purchased the FMX software for our church. We average about 330 in Sunday School. We have been experiencing growth and with that comes more maintenance requests as our facilities are used more. Our church has one maintenance supervisor and 2 full-time janitors and one part-time janitor. We purchased FMX and have been pleased with the ease of use to implement this with our staff. We like the ability to enter maintenance requests with our computers and look forward to the app coming. Recording the maintenance requests in the database and being able to track its progress is a great feature! It has helped keep our requests on track for completion and helped inform the staff when the tasks are completed. I would recommend this to any church.Electronic tracking, Ease of Use

FMX is an excellent option if you are looking to take your facility maintenance protocols from pen and paper or homemade digital formats to a legitimately organized software solution. But even more important is the Support FMX offers. They have literally made system-wide design changes based on suggestions I have made and I am sure I am not the only customer that can say that. They are more committed to the development of their product as it pertains to meeting the customer's needs than any software company I have ever worked with. FMX facilities maintenance software has revolutionized are museum operations team

In June of 2015 our museum operations team (facilities, exhibits, etc.) subscribed to FMX facilities maintenance cloud based software system. Prior to that we did everything by paper and in multiple Excel files. While it was definitely a transition to learn the software and get all the staff on-board with using it, the payoff has been huge. I was able to build the back end (users, buildings, locations, initial equipment upload, etc.) in about two weeks during some evening hours at home. FMX staff helped by allowing us to mass upload many files direct from Excel. The ability to now easily track all of our work orders, equipment, inventory, and then have everything connected via logs has been revolutionary for our institution. We can be on the floor reviewing a gallery and in real time pull up information (pictures, manuals, work log history, videos, web links, vendor contacts, etc.) on our iPads. The examples of how this product has helped us is endless. Another reason we choose this particular software was their easy to use look. When we showed various demos to our staff they often said it seemed intuitive and had a simple modern look that encouraged them to adopt using it. Also, in just the one year we have used them they have made many improvements to the software, some were even requests we submitted directly. The only downside is that they need an app to make using the software faster and easier, right now we use it on iPads and iPhones through the internet browser. We reviewed a lot of software systems in early 2015 prior to choosing FMX, and I'm confident we made the right choice.

The upgrades have been making it easier and easier to use. I would like to see the same updates/upgrades to both the Maintenance Requests and the Planned Maintenance. Specifically I'd like to be able to edit who its assigned to by clicking on the request from the calendar. Currently you have to remember the number and look it up under Maintenance Request. Also since making it available to set times on work orders when you move the request forward it stays RED which for me means its behind.Easy to stay on top of projects. Great trending reports.

FMX changed our entire operation. This product has allowed me as a single Technology Coordinator that is in charge of the entire district with out help to keep track and respond to things in a timely manner. It has allowed me to track progress of things I have assigned to our maint. staff and provide reports that show the school board how the time they are paying me for is being used to better the district. The support staff has also been great any questions they are there to help, to change and to guide you through the process.

TMI Energy Solutions provides Facility/Energy management services to Ohio Public School Districts. After discovering the FMX software, we are implementing this product as a tool for each of our clients. FMX's cloud-based format allows TMI to effectively communicate with staff members in real-time as well as provide an accountable process for all who are responsible for getting the job done. The program is extremely easy to use, and training requirements are minimal.

We have been very satisfied with this product, which we have used almost a year now. It is easy to use, high quality, and has great customer support to help with any questions we do have. We love the ease to add modules suited to our needs. FMX also continues to update their product regularly and make improvements. We have used a couple similar products which do not compare with FMX. We're excited to continue using FMX and see how they continue to adapt their product.Add modules as needed and per needs of user, edit modules and request forms easily, excellent customer support and training

I serve as Director of Operations and Safety for Wheelersburg Local Schools in southern Ohio. My primary responsibilities include maintenance, operations, facilities support and energy services. Our school district employees used a variety of tools to manage thousands of scheduled events, countless preventive maintenance tasks, and the usual boat load of maintenance requests that challenged our patience and resolve. While we were able to manage, we really needed a tool that would serve to stream line those functions for ease of use. We were eager to give FMX a try,and have not regretted our decision. Now, we have all of our necessary functions in one web-based location. Management of assets, supporting scheduled events, and resolving maintenance requests have never been easier. Training was a breeze, and full implementation of FMX was a reality for us in only a few days. The customer support that we receive is phenomenal, and it is a relief to know that help is only a call or email away. One of the fringe benefits of this software is that we are saving operating money simply by using FMX. We are able to track and maintain our assets better, we are not wasting time making extra steps to support events, maintenance requests can be taken care of "on the fly", and everybody is on the same page now. No more double-booking spaces, forgotten work tickets, ignored planned maintenance or guessing when to perform procedures. The value of FMX makes this tool a must-have for any Facility Manger!

Our school district is in its second year of using FMX for scheduling events and reserving school facilities and resources. The system has allowed us to bring what was once done on paper by hand to an automated system. Before using the system we were using three different calendaring systems to mange school events, athletics, and resource/facilities scheduling. Now it is all done in one place. FMX works with us to make changes and improvements based on the needs of our district and It is easy to get in contact with customer support.

We are a relatively small facility (100k sq ft), and were looking for something that could easily scale as we grow. We needed user-end customization. We needed powerful without heavy. We found all of these things in FMX... with an incredibly friendly and personal sales experience to boot. I don't have a bad thing to say about this CMMS. We are a year into it, and still loving it. Intuitive. Not cumbersome. Customer service has a passionate small business feel.

FMX software has upgraded our entire operation. Managing 20 Engineers has become so simple. I can schedule their working days from anywhere and it's freed me up to work in growing the business side. The Engineers are universally happy about the implementation of FMX. They feel more in control of their days, and less like I'm 'telling them what to do' all the time. they are more directly engaged with the client requesting the works, and have more control over repeatedly scheduled tasks.
