Customers get very confused by putting their vouchers in from groupon. They have to call and need to be walked through every step because they can't figure it out on their own.

Always answering right away and doing their best to please and solve the clients problems, even creating new programming to solve my specific needs.

I also find the calendar to be rather bulky, and find myself missing our simpler calendar from our previous reservation platform. Having said that, about 95% of their service IS customizable.

Easy to use interface and integration

I was with SS for 3 years and they worked great. I wish they had more features but that's what makes their cost so so cheap compared to others.

FYI, if you want to completely start over on a reservation, you always have the option to remove the reservation from your cart.

FYI #2, we're actively working on a "wait list" feature and expect to have it in place before you start back up in the spring :)

In the past, a Tour could be overlooked or an important detail no noted. This has not happened with starboard suite.

As you mentioned, sometimes waivers take a few seconds to process after they're signed.  They through quite a few security and validation steps, so a few second delay isn't too bad all things considered, but we're continuing to work on speeding that up even more :)

I wanted to make sure you know that our software DOESN'T require you to enter the entire billing address for a credit card.  

For security, we do require the postal code, but not the entire address.

In terms of retail, my understanding is that your team wants to be able to use an external scanner for your retail items, due to the high volume of retail sales in your various stores.  We're talking to your company management about adding that and we're excited about it!

In terms of a "daily view", if you navigate to Events->Daily Event Schedule you can see a day at a time :)

Sorry to hear that the "remove from cart" button feels confusing.  It sounds like this functionality may be a bit different from what you were used to in your old system.
Moving between software systems can always be a bit daunting.

Most of our users really like the "remove from cart", so I suspect you'll adapt to it in short order, but please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team if you'd like more information about how to use it most effectively.





I have not yet found any "cons" to our relationship with Starboard. They and their product have " performed as advertised" so far.

When I worked before, we were buying Starboard Suite. I like Starboard Suite very much more when I work because of the flexibility it offers. We didn't concern anything else because pretty much Starboard Suite had everything we were looking for. I chose Starboard Suite because it was easy to use, it's cheaper, the support offered was great, and it offers easy installation for the end users. So right from the start, I had support from the team. They'll give you the installation and walkthrough, and they will give detailed instructions on how to install and use it. They can even also train your end users. I highly recommend getting Starboard Suite over other products because of its easy installation and the reporting functions it provides.
