Educators and administrators had no way of writing all of the meetings down and then adding them to our desk calendars. WE were in our homes. The real time scheduling was a blessing. One person could add it to the calendar and as long as we were part of that specific calendar group, it automatically would be added to ours.”

Integrations rated by users

We looked at 3,903 user reviews to identify which products are mentioned as Google Calendar integrations and how users feel about them.

Google Meet logo
Google Meet

Integration rating: 4.8 (235)

When we have interviews of new students from other countries, or if someone is out sick but is invited to a meeting, Google Meet can be added to Google Calendar so that there is a central place where everyone can meet with a link that does not have to be generated. It is generated in the calendar.

If a meeting slot is booked, google can immediately create a meeting link. It is incredibly useful and efficient. The meeting link therefore does not need to be distributed because it can be found on each participant’s google calendar and in the meeting reminder emails

The integration between Google Meet and Google Calendar is important to me as a user because it allows me to schedule and join video meetings directly from my calendar. This is convenient because I can see upcoming meetings and join them with a single click.

Before, when I was still applying for a job, most of the companies would use google meet and google calendar at the same time, allowing me to enter the meeting room on that schedule while being reminded of that upcoming meeting so that I won't forget it.

Works well and doesn't have the time limitations that free tools like a basic Zoom account has. Google Meet itself could use a couple more features, but the integration as is works well enough for simple meetings.

It's a great way to connect with a co-worker impromptu throughout the day. We also often incorporate Google Meet links into our meeting invites. This is more cost-effective than Zoom most of the time.

I can easily setup video conferencing using Google Meet even for persons who do not have a google account and no need to get another video conference app so this is very convenient.

In work from home era calender is a real saviour it not only keep you updated about your schedule but also makes you attend your events by embedded meet link in the invite itself

I use Google Meet every day for all of my meetings. The UX is great, it's easy to use, navigate, and set up and it integrates easily with my scheduling and note taking apps.

Integration with Google Meet is essential for scheduling and joining video calls directly from Google Calendar, which greatly improves productivity and collaboration.

It is a necessity for me to have the capability to share quality sound through audio only, therefore I utilize my Zoom Meeting Link for sessions with my clients.

Having google meets pop up on my calendar whenever they are scheduled without manually needing to put them in is game changer for schedule managing!

To schedule my business and study meetings. I organize my events in detail week by week at the most convenient time and day in the Google Calendar.

Once you set up a meeting using google calendar, you receive an automatic google meet link. I love the integration between the two applications.

Love apps that integrate without me having to remember to add them. I use it for a lot more integrates but I can't find them all on the list.

It seamlessly integrates with other Google Workspace apps, like Gmail and Google Meet, which streamlines workflow and communication.

All our calendar invites can have Google Meet for remote conferencing. Super useful to have and often automatically added in.

When putting meetings on a calendar, a Google Meet room is immediately created for all parties to join.

Google Meet serves as one of two options to collaborate with other stakeholders in our organization.

When you book a meeting on Meet, it automatically appears on your calendar with reminder features.

They merge together great! Zoom will send notifications and alerts of meetings which is GREAT while you have your Google email pulled up. It's easy to set up a Zoom meeting thru google calendar.

This integration is important so you don't have to send a separate Zoom invite, and meeting attendees can just click the Google Calendar event link to enter the Zoom meeting.

Slack, GCalendar and Zoom are all connected at work and needs to be, because every app within Slack that we use, also uses GCal to schedule meetings. (such as Donut)

I have it set up so I can choose Zoom or Meet; Zoom still has better audio and video than Meet, although full-featured Zoom is too pricy for my organization 😭.

It makes keeping track of remote meetings vs. in-person meetings a snap. As with inviting attendees for scheduled meetings, it integrates with ZOOM perfectly.

I schedule all my meetings in Zoom and it's critical that it easily integrates with Google Calendar so that I can see all my Zoom meetings in my calendar.

Zoom has become the preferred and secure collaboration tool for meetings in our organization, especially for large groups.

This helps make the meeting scheduling process way more efficient because it auto adds everything to my Google Calendar.

YES I don’t have to copy paste that stupid zoom link in anymore. I can just click and make the event a zoom meeting

Because I can integrate clients that do not use google tools, such as meet, and manage them in the same calendar

I hold most my meetings via zoom, so this is a critical factor for me - the integration works smooth and easily.

It allows really quick setup of meetings. Also reminders will come from Calendar before event starts.

To receive notifications and save appointments to my calendar, then be able to call in easily

It is so nice being able to click one button and have a zoom meeting attached to the invite!

Because in our current environment, most of our meetings are hybrid or fully remote

To actually have the meeting virtually and if someone prefers zoom vs Google Meet

Zoom meetings I schedule automatically appear in my calendar to avoid confusion.

In the click of a button join the correct meeting is a very important feature

I opt for Google Meet whenever possibe so the Zoom integration isn't essential

I record a lot of interviews and to instantly schedule is a good crossover.

Integration rating: 4.9 (112)

Gmail is my primary business email so having it integrated with Google Calendar allows me to never miss important events and scheduled meetings with clients. This integration is seamless and works across all devices.

because it allows events, meetings, and travel details to be automatically added to Google Calendar. This reduces manual work, keeps schedules accurate, and ensures important commitments from emails are not missed.

Being able to add things from the email to my calendar is essential. Also, being able to work on email while seeing what is coming up on my calendar using the sidebar view in gmail is so helpful.

It will grab meeting dates set by my clients and others based on the emails that they send me. That makes things so convenient so they are not forgotten and that I don't forget.

I may not receive the same emails as my co-worker, so it's critical I am able to get the important emails simply forwarded to me and visa versa to keep good communication.

email reminders are the best way to ensure that a calendar entry is not forgotten in the modern day electronic "Stimulus overload" on cellphones and computers

It makes life very easy that calendar automatically picks up certain types of events such as flight details simply from my confirmation email.

The ability to transfer any kind of appointment email directly to Google Calendar from an email is convenient

This saves me time creating a schedule without the redundancy of having to enter details in multiple places.

I receive alerts in my email box and it even allows me to share with my contacts or interested parties.

I really like that you can have more than one gmail or email address integrated into the calendar.

An event that I input into google calendar generates an email notification upon my request.

I use this together so that we all know our schedules and we never overbook ourselves.

I am reminded about deadlines and then send work and communicate using Gmail.

Calendly

Integration rating: 4.8 (51)

I use Calendly for client bookings. I create an event type in Calendly, share the link with my clients and when they book, it automatically shows up in my Google Calendar

I can manage events on my Google Calendar while I can set up my availability on my Calendly . It's very important for my work :) aaaaand its awesome!

Because we sent out Calendly links to allow candidates to schedule their own virtual interviews which are then populated into our Google Calendars.

Great way to send your calendar to people and allow them to book a time on your calendar. It eliminates the back and forth when scheduling.

I never have to go back and forth to set up an appointment. Calendly looks at my calendar and tells the appointment setter when I can meet.

Students book meetings through Calendly so I need these to appear on my Google Calendar so I have a clearer picture of my work week.

I don’t use calendly as often as I would like but having it linked to google allows me to quickly access my calendar in one place.

Helpful when scheduling phone calls or meetings. Once someone signs up to talk to me its automatically added to my calendar

All of my calendly meetings are automatically put into google calendar, which is good to keep track with meetings.

It's so nice to send vendors a link to schedule a meeting for you, so this is a valuable connection.

You want users of other platforms to be able to schedule as well and for the calendars to coincide.

This is important so that we can have our events at one place which is google calendar.

People can see and book directly into my calendar from this app. Very helpful!

I use Calendly for scheduling and its critical that it links to my calendar.

Everything we talked about or what day we should set up meetings is within slack and having google calendar sync to slack makes it so much easier to set up meetings and reminders.

Since we use Slack for communication across the organisation, integrating it with Google Calendar means we never get to miss out on any meetings.
