“My BIGGEST problem is with quotes/estimates. It makes no sense to me that we can't have saved templates, or hidden items like equipment costs, labor and overhead, expenses in this section like they do in the job creation/management section. It absolutely sucks for estimating. Single line items are all you can include, but if your service includes labor, materials, equipment, etc, you need to calculate that yourself. I use a spreadsheet and then plug totals into jobber line items. I really really wish they would improve this, and it makes no sense to me that they have it only in the job section. Having it in the jobs section works for TIME/MATERIALS jobs and tracking an approved after the fact. But if I want to create a quote or estimate, the features available are like every other super basic estimating software available. its not at all tailored to the types of businesses that need to factor in, for ex: overseeding, which includes labor and overhead, purchase and delivery of X cubic tons of topsoil at 1/4 inch over X sq ft, X lbs of grass seed and fertilizer over X sq ft, and sometimes additional fees for being outside of service area. So to do this I have to go to a spreadsheet and plug in all my numbers and then go back and just put int the total in Jobber. Otherwise I would have 5 or 6 separate line items just for this single service. Also Jobber NEEDS to give users ability to have SAVED TEMPLATES for quotes and jobs, it would offset the poor quoting features.”

“It's quick and efficient. I love that you can complete a 'first run' quote in a very short time, but you can also get very granular if needed. It has limited customization for the export of quotes, which means sometimes you cant 'tailor' the visibility of things for a client the way you may need, but there are enough templates that there is usually a way that works nicely. ”
