MoonClerk is a web-based system for receiving one-off or recurring payments, subscriptions, or donations. Users can create payment forms and allow customers to access these through direct links, or embed the forms within their website. Forms can be customized with different colors, themes, logos, and images, and users can include fixed payment amounts, suggested amounts, or leave the customer free to donate or pay what they wish. Taxes, shipping charges, surcharges, and other fees can also be included in payment forms. Embedding payment forms within the website allows customers to complete the entire checkout and payment process without having to leave the website.
Recurring payments can be set up through MoonClerk, with users able to set payment forms as being for a one-off payment, recurring payments, or let the customer choose. Recurring payments can be taken weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or at custom intervals, and can be set to continue indefinitely or for a fixed period. The date on which payment is taken can also be customized, with standard options for the customer’s checkout date, fixed days of the week or month, the day after a trial period ends, and more. Users can add internal notes to payments on customers’ accounts, such as if a customer with an existing recurring payment also makes a one-off payment for another service.
